BeckWatch: Membership Has Its Privileges, And They're Kind Of Disgusting

What a day to be a privileged "insider" of the Glenn Beck show! According to Glenn's daily email, the daily task of talking about his ass surgery and how scared he is of the Mexicans and how sad John McCain's lack of conservatism (or is it the lack of Mormonism?) makes him got to be just too much for CNN's finest, leading to the host vomiting live on the air! Apparently, though, this is the sort of quality content that's reserved for paid subscribers ($54.95 gets you 12 months, filled with vomit).

The regurgitation episode apparently arose out of a discussion about some people in San Francisco who want to turn Alcatraz into some sort of Peace Center. Considering the fabled prison is one of the city's key tourist attractions, such a conversion isn't very likely, but Beck is nothing if not plagued inexorably by the hobgoblins of his little mind.*

Best of all is this part of the daily email:

The vomiting episode also led to a debate--how would the transcriber note the on air up-chucking?

It was captured like this:

They wanted to convert the island from a place of pain and suffering into a jewel of -- (vomiting sounds).

Prior to this moment, it had never occurred to me that there was a discernible difference between the sound of Glenn's voice and the sound of a man yerking up his breakfast. I guess you learn something new every day!

*In fact, it didn't happen.
