I Like ItI Don’t Like It
Limbaugh Hillary

Rush Limbaugh is ready to do his part for the GOP by putting on his own fundraiser. Even if that fundraiser is for the only politician that he believes can unite the party -- Hillary Clinton.

From today's show:

RUSH: All right, folks, I need to ask you a question, personal question from me to you. Do I sound like I need cheering up here? I'm getting e-mails from friends, "Boy, you sound like you could use a little cheering up." And they're sending me these stupid little Internet jokes, "for you to smile," like an Internet joke would cheer me up. Spam would cheer me up. But do I sound like I need to be cheered up? I can't wait 'til the Drive-Bys get hold of my thought, my consideration of helping Hillary raise money. They'll miss the reason. They'll just publicize, "Limbaugh is so upset at Romney getting out, he's thinking of raising money for Hillary, period."

But the reason for raising money for Hillary is because that apparently my party is relying on fear and loathing of Hillary to get the nomination, to unite Republicans, who are, some of them, off the reservation. The Republicans do not seem to be relying on leadership in their party to unite the party. They seem to be relying on all these external things, nobody is going to vote for Hillary, negative turnout factor. What if she's not the nominee? We've got make sure she's the nominee if the Republican Party is to be unified. What more loyal thing could I do than to run a fundraiser for Mrs. Clinton? You watch, though, you watch how that will be questioned.

Limbaugh said yesterday that "if Obama is the nominee, we are doomed, and you should get ready and prepared for it now," and previewed what he thinks will be the Democratic arguments against McCain:

RUSH: She just polarizes people. I think she's going to gin up enough anti-Hillary turnout out there to perhaps be a boon to whoever the Republican nominee is.

CALLER: Absolutely.

RUSH: Now, if Obama is the nominee, we are doomed, and you should get ready and prepared for it now.

CALLER: I agree.

RUSH: I'm going to tell you something else that's going to happen. In addition to all this emotion that Hillary's going to revive in people, all this, "I don't care, I'm not going to vote for that woman," you know she's going to redefine negative turnout. You know she is polarizing. I'm going to tell you what's going to happen. It's already started, I pointed this out. Last week after one of the primaries, Anna Quindlen, Newsweek magazine, "How Old is Too Old?" she laid the foundation for the Drive-Bys' eventual turning on McCain as an old guy getting older. I want to predict to you that once he's got this sewn up you're going to see the Drive-By Media start doing stories on his age, and they're not going to be mean, they are not going to be vicious, they're going to be almost sorrowful. Somebody wrote about this in American Thinker today, too, and I can't remember the name. I think I've got it here in the Stack, but take a look at some of the pictures from last night on television. Here you had McCain, you've got an aging senator here, and an aging governor, gray-haired governor there, you've got old people, gray-haired, blue-haired Bloody Mary gang, women, blue hair in the hives and so forth, you've got pearls and so forth. You contrast that to the Obama crowd that is youthful, it's energetic, it wasn't stoic. I am telling you, if that doesn't work, they're going to go after this age business, and they'll do it almost regretfully. We're going to get the worst pictures of McCain. We're going to get him looking tired. We're going to hear references to his forgetfulness. "Isn't it just a shame?" And if that doesn't work, then they're going to do stories on the fact he's nuts. Just mark my words. Mark my words and don't doubt me.

Rush is telling what we should already know. Red neck right wingies don't ever vote for someone, they only vote when they can vote against some one they hate. Rush's definition of conservative goes beyond agreeing with him It means that you must kiss his ass. McCain hasn't done that yet. He was working up to it by kissing Falwell's ass. Six months later Jerry was dead. Maybe we should all hope John kisses Rush's ass too.

This should tell "change" democrats what Hillary really is. When the far-right extreme can relate to you; you must be a right-winger. The young voters probably do not remember Barry Goldwater. Another Far-right extremist. She is part of that pack. Our job market is right now suffering from NAFTA, Bill Clinton. The immigrant voters only see the name Clinton and go to vote. I can understand their difficult times, but one must, must research candidates. Lets not forget her vote for the Kyle-Lieberman attack Barb Bomb Iran. New York????

It looks like the right wingers are salivating at the thought of running against the Clintons.
For once thing they do want to unite the party, and the Clintons will do that for them.
They must already be bringing out the old CLinton dossiers and dusting them off...get ready to hear the same sordid stuff yet again.

They want to run their candidate against Hilary. They figure they can beat her big time. She has a past and a voting record.
Obama scares them. He's fresh and he's inspirational.

AND he doesn't (duh) have any record to speak of. That's just the point. Don't you gen-x-ers or y-ers or whoever you are ever actually read a newspaper or history book? We don't vote for someone for president just because he's cute or handsome or sexy or cool, or inspirational or whatever. There's too much at stake, and those of you who compare this neophyte to JFK are clearly too young to know or remember anything about JFK. He HAD a record--14 years in Congress, a Pulitzer Prize-winning book, decorations for war heroism and the most ruthless, single-minded family and political machine in American History behind him. It didn't hurt to have the Chicago mob and Mayor Daly in Papa Joe's pocket, either. Besides "Yes we can!" what does Obama have? Limbaugh and the Swiftboaters will evicerate him once the curtain is pulled back and his "record" or lack thereof is exposed. Come November, I hope I won't be having to tell you, "I told you so!"

You are, to put it bluntly, an idiot. So Kennedy was alright but Obama is not? Hmmm. Let me see, how did the Kennedys get all that money?

Are you saying that Obama's father was a criminal who supported Hitler?

Read a book, asshole...

During his time in the Senate, he's sponsored over 800 bills. Hillary's sponsored something like 35. He also did a hell of a lot in the Ill leg, including impt ethics reform, health care reform, and tax cuts for the middle-class. At the age of 24, he was taking on federal housing and created a high school drop out prevention program that still exists today. He's written two amazing books as well. Why don't you do your research? Yeah, Obama's inspirational, but he has the intelligence and experience to back it up.

No shit, Hillary as our nominee will hand the GOP a huge and easy victory? Tell me something that isn't obvious to anyone who has been paying attention.

Obama is the GOP's worst fear? Yeah, again, tell me something that wasn't obvious to all of his supporters.

Verdict: No matter what you think about Hillary or Obama, Obama is the only one that can beat John McCain, so on that alone he needs to be our nominee (in addition to the fact that he is by far the better candidate)

I'm really hoping Democrats start to wake up to the fact that we are committing electoral suicide if we nominate Hillary.

Please cambio, McCain is not a rock star. You are mouthing their talking points. I am no Clinton fan but McCain inspires no one. Besides he is a former POW and Republicans won't have a President who gets caught.

Add to that the fact that five times as many people voted D as the R's on Tuesday.
McCain is toast.
Keating Five-remember it.

Of course I'm not the only one who's been saying this for months, but click my profile and you'll see that I have.

It's really a no-brainer that Clinton would unite the GOP and give them the only shot at winning in '08 (up and down the ticket, I might add) and if Clinton did win, Rush and his ilk would cash in on ratings, book royalties and speaking fees.

The Clintons made Rush's career. Raising funds for Hillary would just be a smart investment strategy for him.

Just keep in mind, Rush may have the ear of many a neocon, but he told them NOT to vote for McCain, and look what happened. OOPS, D'oh! Now Romney's gone and he's left with Huckabee and McCain. What will HE DO? His medicine cabinet is calling his name again..............

He wants Hillary because his ratings will shoot through the roof for four years...or he's trying to make anyone considering Hillary second-guess themselves.

I'm for Obama but I'll happily vote for Hillary.

I realize most of you Hillary boosters are over 60 and not on the internet at all, but...evil as Limbaugh is, doesn't this give you even the slightest pause that, hey, maybe Hillary is a neocon warmonger and not the solid liberal we all like to pretend she is?

Sorry a few decades under 60 and I am not a Hillary booster, I think she is part of the machine but, I will suck it up and vote for her over McCain any day...

But, Limbaugh isn't giving us liberals his sincere opinion. Why would he? He's an attention whore and an asshole. He and Coulter are playing games with their punditry and I don't give enough of a shit to figure out what their agendas are...I'll take a guess but it isn't worth too much of our time or consideration.

Exactly! The Clintons made Limbaugh, but he may be counting on people who don't like him having a knee-jerk reaction to his saying that he will raise money for Hillary. Can't speak for others, but I don't care who Limbaugh supports or does not support. Like you, I'm for Obama, but will vote for Hillary if she is the nominee.

Rush Limbaugh is hung up on appearances - remember his last remark about people don't want to watch an aging woman.I think it reflects his junoir high level thought processes.
