Well, once again, HuffPost seemingly only cites sources that make Obama look good. But are these sources accurate? CNN cites that in the Democratic race towards the nominee crown, in the agreed upon rules of the DNC for adding *BOTH*, pledged delegates -and- super-delegates, Hillary is still slightly leading Obama:

Hillary: 1,148

Obama: 1,121

Read it and weep, HuffPost.

I typicaly use the site below to track polls and delegate counts. It shows Obama with 1144 and Clinton with 1138.

This is not news, OhPlease. You obviously haven't been floowing other posts where this has been a topic of discussion.

Nevermind that CNN's numbers differ with other news outlets even when factoring in super delegates. And, as the party wonks keep reminding us, no super delegate can confirm her/his vote until the convention.

There's still a lot to happen with super delegates.

Next troll conspiracy theory:

Hillary stopped having her 'periods' several years ago!

------

Subsequent posts from trolls pretending to be Democrats:

"Ohmygwad, this she-liar will stop at nothing to get elected!"

"I saw evidence on Utube that Billary stopped having her menstrual cycle as yet another triangulation to gain the menopause vote."

"Do you think it was any coincidence that she was born a woman? No! She was calculating even as a fetus. She rejected that Y chromosome so she could win the New Hampshire primary!"

"As a life long member of the democrat party, I refuse to vote for anyone who has pap smears. Pap smears contribute to the deaths of millions of Iraqi childrens. Rarely is it asked: is Iraqi children safe from pap smears?"

OHIO'S LARGEST NEWSPAPER ENDORSES OBAMA !!! SPREAD the WORD !!

Hillary DOES NOT HAVE OHIO LOCKED UP ! In fact, this past Sunday, Ohio's Largest Newspaper (Cleveland Plain Dealer) gave a wonderful endorsement to Barack Obama. Below are a few excepts. Funny....we're not hearing that on the news at all.....So it's up to you...The Obama Warriors to SPREAD THE WORD !

Ohio's Largest Newspaper Endorses Obama !

...Given these similarities, Ohio Democrats have to ask themselves which candidate is more likely, first, to win the White House, and, then, to persuade a closely divided country to embrace his or her vision of change. Put even more pointedly: Who is more likely to change the world of a child born in 2008?...

...The answer, we think, is Barack Obama.
Although Obama stands on the precipice of a historic breakthrough, his personal story is a classic only-in-America saga: A white mother from Kansas. A black father from Kenya. A childhood in multi-ethnic Hawaii. Scholarships to Ivy League schools. Work as a community organizer and later a law professor in Chicago. Two terms in the Illinois Senate, then a landslide election to the U.S. Senate. An electrifying keynote speech at the 2004 Democratic National Convention.
That speech laid out the template for this campaign. He has challenged America to move beyond rigid racial, religious or partisan divides to focus instead on shared, national goals. It's a message that appeals to young voters and independents, to disillusioned Democrats eager to regain a sense of possibility and, yes, hope.

Hillary Clinton is an exceptionally bright and accomplished woman. Only a fool could dispute that. It would be nice if Obama's policy proposals were as meaty as those she has put forward. It's no wonder she wants Democrats to see this race as a choice between résumés.
But in a campaign where history matters, she carries an inordinate amount of baggage. Who wants to relive the soap operas of the 1990s?
America needs a fresh start. Barack Obama is the Democrat to provide it.

If I recall the Des Moines Register endorsed Clinton... and we all know how that went.

The most recent Ohio poll (2/3) shows Clinton with a 23 point lead.

REASONS TO BE PROUD OF THE CLINTON CAMPAIGN

HILLARY HAS,...

- Successfully established herself as the presumptive, established Democratic nominee.
- Campaigned on the same, strong message, consistenly from day one.
- Inspired, motivated, & grown the Democratic Party
- Run on her merits, not reallying of the efforts of her husband, or his record.
- Put together the best politcal minds & experienced advisors to help in her campaign.
- Run a clean, respectful, unifying campaign.
- Successfully raised & manage all the funds necessary for her campaign.
- Avoided campaign 're-orgs' & maintained the same key members of her staff.
- Been very competitive in all primaries & caususes

Bottomline: Hillary & her campaign has been an oustanding success!!

are you kidding me? let's do the rundown:
- Successfully established herself as the presumptive, established Democratic nominee.
OBAMA IS PRESENTLY CONSIDERED TO BE THE MORE LIKELY NOMINEE. SHE HASNT BEEN THE PRESUMPTIVE NOMINEE FOR ABOUT THREE WEEKS.
- Campaigned on the same, strong message, consistenly from day one.
SHE CHANGED MANY MESSAGES AFTER OBAMA WINS, ESPECIALLY IN IOWA. SHE HAS CONSISTENTLY RUN A REACTIVE CAMPAIGN, TRYING TO MAKE HERSELF MORE LIKE OBAMA BY CALLING HERSELF THE CANDIDATE OF CHANGE, OF THE YOUNG, ETC...
- Inspired, motivated, & grown the Democratic Party
THIS IS JUST LAUGHABLE. I GUESS IT IS TRUE IF YOU FORGET THAT THERE IS A GUY NAMED OBAMA WHO HAS ACTUALLY DONE THESE THINGS IS A MEASURABLE WAY
- Run on her merits, not reallying of the efforts of her husband, or his record.
THAT IS A DOWNRIGHT LIE. SHE CONSTANTLY MENTIONS THE PROSPERITY OF THE 1990'S IN HER DEBATE, AS IF IT WAS BILL CLINTON AND NOT BILL GATES WHO WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR IT (AND OF COURSE AL GORE FOR INVENTING THE INTERNET, WHICH HE DID)
- Put together the best politcal minds & experienced advisors to help in her campaign.
UMM... THE BEST PEOPLE FROM BILL'S ADMINISTRATION, EXCEPTING THOSE WHO'VE DEFECTED TO OBAMA. THE BEST PEOPLE FROM THIS CENTURY, THE NEW THINKERS, THEY ARE OBAMA'S
- Run a clean, respectful, unifying campaign.
OK. UNIFYING? SERIOUSLY? HOW ABOUT RACIALLY DIVISIVE AND, ESPECIALLY ON THE PART OF BILL, DIRTY AND DISRESPECTFUL AS SHIT. ("Jesse Jackson won South carolina in '84 and '88")
- Successfully raised & manage all the funds necessary for her campaign.
MORONICALLY BLEW 100 MILLION DOLLARS TO LOSE TO OBAMA, SQUEEZED EVERY DONOR SHE HAS, AND LENT HER OWN CAMPAIGN 5 MILLION BECAUSE SHE COULDNT AFFORD TO CAMPAIGN IN ALL THE SUPER TUESDAY STATES
- Avoided campaign 're-orgs' & maintained the same key members of her staff.
JUST FIRED HER CAMPAIGN MANAGER LIKE, YESTERDAY
- Been very competitive in all primaries & caususes
EXCEPT FOR THE 5 SHE LOST BY 2 TO 1 MARGINS

Well, I'll be damned. He just may squeak out the win. I honestly didn't expect it. I'm an independent voter, and I've had a hard time choosing this year. There really isn't a candidate whose views are closely aligned with my own. But the number one objective for me is Iraq and damage control regarding our foreign policy. I do worry that Obama doesn't have the experience to efficiently straighten out the situation, but I have a great deal of faith in his good intentions (and his ability to hire advisors with the exerience he lacks).

I don't support his every objective, but damn, when he speaks, he makes me proud to be an American again! I truly believe that after 8 years of him, America could be a better place. We don't have a lot of years left for this two-party system and all this polarity. The racism, sexism, and hatred in the name of Jesus is going to be squeezed out by my generation (30-somethings). We see things in a global sense, and we are fast moving toward worldwide brotherhood. Obama gets this. Hillary is entirely too "groomed" in the old ways to ever understand the direction that the world is taking.

Jennymac,

I fully agree with what you've said here...with the exception of Sen. Obama not having the experience to extract us from the debacle or shall I say...QUAGMIRE of Iraq. I believe he is even more able than Sen. Clinton.

Why you may ask? Because he has stated his willingness to discuss with other nations who we have significant differences with without preconditions. That is a good place to start. It is also something Sen. Clinton has said she would never do. Now who seems to be more experienced?

Secondly, he has said he would refocus attention on where it belongs...on Osama Bin Laden (who is probably having tea with Musharraf right now).

John F. Kennedy didn't have alot of international experience when he was elected President, but brought this country through during the Missle Crisis. I say let us give this man the opportunity as President to get us out of the terrible situation the current White House occupant got us into.

Roll Tide...GO Bama

And what a quagmire it is! Good point about Obama's 'experience.' Open discussion is a very good place to start. What precisely is it that Sen. Clinton said she would never do?

Me too. Roll Tide.

As for shady deals, tell me how an open bar, valet parking and food for over 100 guests runs less than $2,000? No disclosure of guests attending and no disclosure of the actual cost.

http://www.suntimes.com/news/politics/432197,CST-NWS-obama18.article

Between 75 and 80 people attended Rezko's cocktail party, according to Burton, but he said the campaign has no list of the guests.

More than half a dozen people who were there said between 100 and 150 guests were treated to an open bar and food served by Jewell Events Catering, run by renowned Chicago caterer George Jewell. Valets parked cars for the guests, who each were asked to donate at least $1,000.

Rezko picked up the tab. The exact cost of the party has never been disclosed to the Federal Election Commission, which allows hosts to pay up to $2,000 for fund-raisers held in their homes and not report the expense. If a party costs more than $2,000, the candidate must tell the FEC about it.

are you talking about crap like Whitewater which was investigated for years and turned up nuttin'?

and Rezko is under federal indictment for fraud dealing directly with the projects Obama's firm had been working on and he's been a decades long patron and friend of the candidate. it's like saying 'Abramoff? that's all you got?'

Flip through a few pages of Dreams from my Father and you'll find ample material for all manner of racial fear-mongering that is ripe for Republican smears.

It doesn't exactly give midwesterners the warm and fuzzies to read that the Democratic candidate for President has a long history of distrust for 'white America'

Of his first boss:

"There was something about him that made me wary," Obama wrote. "A little too sure of himself, maybe. And white."

Of his college years:

"To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists."

No I'm not making this stuff up.

It's recent history as well:

"The monster deal stunned the mining industry, turning an unknown shell company into one of the world"s largest uranium producers in a transaction ultimately worth tens of millions of dollars to Mr. Giustra, analysts said.

Just months after the Kazakh pact was finalized, Mr. Clinton"s charitable foundation received its own windfall: a $31.3 million donation from Mr. Giustra that had remained a secret until he acknowledged it last month. The gift, combined with Mr. Giustra"s more recent and public pledge to give the William J. Clinton Foundation an additional $100 million, secured Mr. Giustra a place in Mr. Clinton"s inner circle, an exclusive club of wealthy entrepreneurs in which friendship with the former president has its privileges."

yes he has struggled with his bi racial identity. And for america to have a discussion on race wouldnt be a bad thing. If you take things out of context and read them like that you miss the broader message. He tried to fit in with Blacks because that's what he is looked to as being.

Rezko is under investigation for influence peddling within the Governor's office... He was an advisor to Gov. Blaglejovech.

Go It ?

Alright Then !

You wouldn't know racial fear mongering if it peed in your face. What Obama is describing is the identity crisis he had to be going thru. Here is a black kid raised in a white family in a multicultural environment like Hawaii. Then he comes face to face in being defined by those around him - his peers and his other classmates and other black people for the first time. It had to be tough. But look how he has survived and thrived under that adversity.

I would mistrust any black American who did not have a distrust for "white America". That would be ignoring history.

As far as political smears go, you don't have to reach back to White Water. Hillary has some seerious talking to do about her cattle futures dealings, and we have not heard a reasonable explanation yet. That particular discrepancy resounds with me deeply as I am a small time cattle rancher in KS. Yeah, we like to see a tiny profit for our labor while Hillary uses her inside connections to make a bundle.

It's time for Obama to take the VP nomination. Democrats have set themselves up for huge fights in their convention. Super delegates, Florida, Michigan, Clinton Obama death match, racial factionalism, a brokered convention and the pièce de résistance political insider super delegate Democratic presidential candidate selection. It's like they sat around and tried to figure out how to screw up an election they should have easily won. Go figure.

Wise up, folks. Obama is Karl Rove's ticket to throwing yet another election to the neoconservatives. Indicted criminal Tony Rezko, Obama's longtime benefactor, is going on trial soon. How much you wanna bet some witness is going to finally implicate Obama his illegal activities? Once Rove fields the independent ticket he's got under raps, it will be all over for the Democrats and another four years of warmongering and thievery will be ushered in. Didn't you see the big banner at the CPAC conference of conservatives - "Anybody but Hillary"? They know who they need to worry about and that's why they've crossed over to vote in the Democratic caucuses by the tens of thousands. Meanwhile, the media's marketing a total novice candidate as if he's the Messiah. How gullible can we be? For more on Rove's strategy, see the article I've posted at thecityedition.com.
