Bill Clinton Calls Obama Campagin "Smoke And Mirrors"

With Virginia considered Hillary Clinton's best chance in the Potomac Primary, Bill Clinton packed his schedule with three stops Monday in the Old Dominion, where he tried to convince voters that his wife's experience trumps Barack Obama's "smoke and mirrors" candidacy....

..."You have to decide what this election is about," Clinton told a room of 600 students, his voice hoarse from making four campaign speeches a day earlier in the District and Maryland. "You have to decide what makes the best president. You want someone with the right vision, the right plans and ability to get the job done. If that's the test, I don't think the question is close." Outside of those traits, "all the rest is smoke and mirrors," Clinton said in reference to his wife's more charismatic rival.

Dear Bill -

I am so pleased to see that you have rejected the demands of Hillary's so-called "campaign advisors".

How dare they try to tell you, a former POTUS, what to say and what not to say!

How dare they demand that you stick to saying positive things about Hillary - and avoid criticizing Obama.

Please continue to expose him for the fraud that he is. Warn us, loudly and continually, about fairy tales, about smoke and mirrors, and about Jesse Jackson, too.

Continue your attacks, and don't worry, even a little bit, about a repeat of the debacle in South Carolina.

That won't happen again, I assure you, because Hillary deserves to be POTUS. It is her destiny, as Darth Vader once said.

So keep slamming Obama, and she surely will be - as long as she doesn't have to meet McCain in the general election.

But that's another problem, for another day. First things first, and one day at a time, as the saying goes.

The Clinton campaign continues to try and push the idea that Senator Obama doesn't know what he is doing. It is clear that Obama continues to do an excellent job of organizing and running the campaign. As Hillory continues to lose races, she tries to imply that these losses of hers don't mean anything. I suspect the people in Nebraska, Virginia, etc happen to think their votes are important. It looks as though the Clintons are trying to use slight of hand and "smoke and mirrors" to confuse people into thinking that Obama is not doing as good a job as most of us realize.
What is clear is that the Clintons will continue to fight. I hope that Obama supporters do not get complacent, and realize that this is still a very difficult race for Obama to win.

Try reading. Bill was the senior governor in the country. He was on his second term. He even lost one term in Arkansas and rewon the position.

He was very seasoned in governing but, more important, in how to listen to people. You see what happened when he realized he offended people? Well, that's experience. That's listening.

Votes are NOT more important than people.

Obama has very little real experience except as a state legislator. He went national 3 years ago and has spent zip time there.

He's unseasoned. Vulnerable, frankly.

And his talent got him gobbled up.

If we're not careful, the real establishment will have gotten themselves a president in a pocket.

Obama has WON 10 primaries and 9 caucuses---plus the Virgin Islands and Americans Abroad primary. I suspect he will sweep her again tonight by HUGE margins..adding to his primary wins and overall delegate count.

H. Clinton has won only 7 primaries and 2 caucuses.

Obama is winning across the country in all demographics. He's beating the former first lady (a white woman btw) in the whitest states in the country. He's beating her by HUGE MARGINS. He is ahead in the pledged delegate count. She's NEVER been ahead in the pledged delegate count.

THESE ARE THE FACTS! Where's the smoke and mirrors?????

Looks like the Clintons are back to their old tricks..the race card has been pulled by one of their surrogates in Pennsylvania today and now Bill is back at it....he switched from Fairytale to 'smoke and mirror'....lol. When they are down they resort to these lowbrow tactics. How sad can they get? Pathetic.
