From Politico:

JOHN HARRIS: Senator, you were offended the other day for reasons that I think a lot of people understood by comments that were made on MSNBC. And in the wake of that, I heard from some of the people on your staff who say, to their surprise, they actually think that Fox News is giving you a better break than MSNBC. Is that your perception?

SENATOR CLINTON: Well, there was some independent study that my staff sent me -- we didn't do it -- but it was some independent study which seemed to suggest that, that in terms of the fairness of the coverage -- you know, look, I'm a mom first. I'm a candidate second. And, you know, I really am troubled by this pattern of behavior and comments that you hear.

JOHN HARRIS: Two-week suspension, you said that's inadequate for what was said. What would be adequate? Are you looking for a firing or something more?

SENATOR CLINTON: That's not my job, John. You know, that's the job of the people who run the network. But I think that they need to take a hard look.

This is like the third time they've had to apologize. And there are a lot of things that they haven't had to apologize for that might have merited one. So I wish they would take a look at, you know, some of the pattern of demeaning comments that are made on their networks.

Reason, enough. I'm sure Clinton will get overwhelming support in Texas, since republicans can vote in the Democratic primary there. She's a Lieberman.

On the contrary: I know Texans. The only thing they hate more than blacks are women.

They're just dying to run against either.

FOX wants Hillary to get the nomination because she will be the easiest to beat in Fall.

"look, I'm a mom first. I'm a candidate second."

So your saying you put your daughter ahead of the country. Very noble I guess. But I think of all the people who gave their lives for this country.

So your daughter was called a name. GET OVER IT. You're in public office. What did you think was going to happen. With the 35 years experience you never encounter this before?

This is just another tactic to feel sorry for her. I knew nothing of it until I read about how she brought it to the front page.

I usually hate Fox, but after watching MSNBC and Fox a bit for the past few months I think she's right. MSNBC (except for Abrams) is extremely biased against Clinton and for Obama. I have never really seen anything like it. Fox is still biased against Democrats, but they have been a little more balanced of late and certainly more fair than MSNBC. And I used to love MSNBC, especially Olbermann (but no more). Once the General election comes, I have no doubt Fox will return to form and trash Democrats, and MSNBC will probably start praising McCain (since Matthews and Russert love him). I just wish the media would report the news and stop trying to inflict the biases of their reporters' and hosts on us.

Russet is not a regular on MSNBC and Olberman certainly does not support McCain. While he seems to favor Obama, he has certainly not been unfair to Hillary.

Let's dispense with the , MSNBC and other media outlets are biased against Hillary and are giving Barack Obama a free ride, for month Hillary was enjoying universal coverage as the presumptive nominee, echoe chamber after echoe chamber reminded us her her "35 years of experience" she enjoyed it to the point where she didnt really acknowledge Barack Obama in the early debates, Hillary and her supporters have a severe case of sour grapes. I would never vote for Hillary Clinton she is such a phony.

You're out of your gourd. Have you ever considered why Fox is so supportive of Clinton?

Olberman has been nothing but fair and David Shuster is cutting with everyone, including Obama. I happen to like snarky, cutting journalism. His comment was over the line and he has apologized for it 3 times on national television. Now, your candidate is just trying to whip up the issue to deflect attention from her losing, cash strapped, race and gender card playing campaign.

Riight! and I have been asleep for the last ten years. This is so unbelieveable.
This kind of comment comes from Mark Penn.
And its the reason Clinton is sinking in the polls. She doesn't have a clue on the mindset of America right now.
Hillary repeat after me" I am the koolaide!"

The Clintons will do ANYTHING, even DESTROY the Democratic Party FOREVER, to win! That is why she must not win! They are narcissistic and destructive people who WILL even "PIMP" out their own daughter, and climb over their own friends to get what they want! If Obama does not win, I would NEVER vote for her. I would sit it out, or vote for any Independent running, rather than her. She will NEVER win, due to negative feelings like mine in millions of people, Democratic and RePUKE alike. The feelings run very deep, and many polls have been done validating this! Now, I am leaving this site, because of the hate-filled messages of both Hillary-Obsessives and Paid Operatives from the OTHER SIDE, who are LONGING for her to be our nominee so they can CLOBBER HER in the General Election!!!

Someone please put together a YouTube video of all the nasty things Fox has said on air about Hillary. Short video. It would only run about 6 days long.

The interview above is the perfect preview to a Hillary Presidency. Trivial soap opera. Self absorbed to the extreme. Can you believe Hillary thinks gnawing on this bone (Sorry Monica) will get her somewhere?

She is running against Obama. Maybe she already forgot. What an imbecile.

Can you imagine the constant string of suppossed slights and petty payback tit for tat if she were really in charge?

My God folks!

Fox is just using the Clinton incident to smackdown MSNBC,they can't stand her either. And ALL the networks are being biased towards Obama.Frankly I'm getting a little tired of the commentators trying to dictate the race.I like Obama, but the very clear bias and anger towards Clinton is turning me off

CNN and CBS seem more pro-Clinton to me-- the "60 Minutes" dual segments on Sunday painted Hillary in a more favorable light, calling Obama "cocky" (a classic stereotype of African Americans and the second time "60 Minutes" has gone down that path with Obama).

The difference: Obama is focussing on the voters, not the media.

Implying that Shuster should be fired for his one stupid comment while also defending Fox News as the most fair and balanced to her? Hmm...I really don't understand why Hillary isn't particularly well-liked by members of the mainstream media. Surely this recent behavior isn't part of a broader pattern of antagonizing actions.
