Reminds me of the headline on a story once in The Onion: "Area Masturbators Can't Wait For New Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue."
Way too skinny - but this is the kind of girl Letterman goes for - thin and skinny like a 10 year old boy!
MAKE LOVE NOT WAR. This girl is hot, and I mean H O T. Whew.... so much for politics.
I sure hope Roger Clemems wife didn't do another spread.

Are breasts supposed to have corners?
They are if they are implants.

Finally, something worth my time. The way politics is broken now a days, my time is much better spent reading SI swimsuit edition an surfing porn sites. There is more truth in some fair haired vixen going down on a lesbian lover or some dude than watching the politicians give the american people anal sex each and every day. That's right, we are getting screwed every day by our elected idiots.
I think SI continues with this issue because it sells, and it sells advertising. Has anyone noticed how thin SI has been lately? These are tough times for print media, and (unfortunately for this feminist) skin sells. Watch and see how thick the swimsuit issue is. Full of ads.
I agree with LeonBNJ, "Women In Sports" would be better. This woman is lovely, and I'm glad she has a modeling job. However, "Swimsuit" is really just soft porn.
You mean like women's competitive swimming featuring Amanda Beard, who posed for the Swimsuit Issue?
Howzabout women's synchronized swimming featuring Estella Warren, who posed for the Swimsuit Issue?
Then there's women's beach volleyball featuring Gabrielle Reece, who posed for the Swimsuit Issue.
And then there's women's tennis featuring Steffi Graf and Maria Sharapova, both of whom posed for the Swimsuit Issue.
This is going to come as a shock to you, but heterosexual men (AKA "SPORTS ILLUSTRATED's target audience") like to see attractive women in revealing swimwear.
One has to wonder why Time-Warner continues with this issue. The original reason was that 40 years ago, this time of year was a dead time for sports, long after the end of College and pro Football season and before baseball season. it was a time when the college and pro basketball as well as hockey had much smaller audiences and far from the end of their seasons. In effect it was a time filler and a way to keep advertisers happy.
I think the 'swimsuit' issue should be retired, replaced by a 'Women In Sports' issue, commenting on their successes and limits as to respectability. It should be about womans athletic accomplishment not how hot they look. It's time to grow up.
Two words: "Amanda Beard." Two more: "Estella Warren." The Swimsuit Issue stays, end of discussion.
Yawn, women in sports are patronized enough already, especially American women in sports, with their solid funding, mediocre records of accomplishment, and continual complaints about sexism...
Meanwhile eastern European, Russian, and Chinese women kick their spoiled-little-girl asses.
Besides, female athletic accomplishments are regularly covered news-wise in the pages of Sports Illustrated. Hence there's no need for a 'women in sports' issue, especially when women's specific sports magazines continually fold.
And man or woman, it's often about how hot someone looks. Men are judged more on their looks now than ever before, so let's just cut the hypocrisy. It's OK to look at someone just because they're hot.
I must be getting old, the SI Swimsuit issue just doesn't seem that big a deal anymore.
She's gonna catch her death of cold.
