Superdelegate Replaced With "Automatic Delegate" By Clinton Adviser

In a sign that the spin war over the significance of super-delegates is underway in earnest, Harold Ickes told assorted Hillary supporters on a private conference call yesterday that the campaign wants them to start referring to super-delegates as "automatic delegates," according to someone on the call.

The person I spoke to paraphrases Ickes, who is spearheading Hillary's super-delegate hunt, this way: "We're no longer using the phrase super delegates. It creates a wrong impression. They're called automatic delegates. Because that's what they are."

The super delegates better realize if either of these candidates wins by their votes there will be rioting in the streets. And they better know also if they seat FL and MI without a re-do the Obama supporters will be rioting in the streets.

I just got a letter asking for contributions, from Chris Van Hollen of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

I am a lifelong Democrat.

However, unless they get rid of, YES THAT'S RIGHT, ELIMINATE "Superdelegates" from the election process, and restore real, vote-by-vote democracy to the selection of delegates, AND to the nomination of primary candidates, I will consider either changing my party registration, or voting for non-Democrat candidates.

It's time to eliminate the political corruption machine that "Superdelegates" represent.

It's time to restore democracy to the democratic process.

So, if they want my contributions, or want my vote, they must eliminate "Superdelegates".
