Craig Ferguson Applauds Susan Sarandon's Body Of Work

A glorious Susan Sarandon appeared on the "Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson" Tuesday night to promote her Doris Duke biopic "Bernard and Doris," which is on HBO. The 61-year old wore a low cut red dress that had a flu-suffering Ferguson driven to distraction. He first told her the applause was for "the body of your work" and later admitted to thinking "boobies" while talking to her.

Watch the ravishing, and excuse the jump one minute in:

Susan Sarandon talked to Craig Ferguson to promote her HBO movie "Bernard and Doris." Ferguson, a little dopey from the flu, couldn't help but admire the 61-year-old's body of work and talk boobies. http://link.brightcove.com/services/link/bcpid1416062038http://www.brightcove.com/channel.jsp?channel=1178199204

Uuuumm do a Google Image search for "Leelee Sobieski" for a pretty good argument that the gentleman above was being deadly serious.

Yowsah!

Wow, she's hot AND smart. She's every man's dream, she's every man's nightmare.

Amazing what support wear and good makeup can create.

I'm not sure those stay up when she removes her support bra.

I'm gay and I can't take my eyes off her.

Yes, me too! I've always loved female cleavage for some reason or other.

I noticed that Susan did have the bazooms in the "out" position when she walked on!

Bull Durham....WOW!!!! She is still a hot ass woman.

I've been a fan since Rocky Horror. The woman is still smoking hot.

Hooray for Boobies!

I'm 26 and my threshold is 35. I might move that up to 61 now.

For Sarandon probably, for Helen Mirren without a doubt.

Man she is still looking good:)!

I think Craig Fergunson is great! I don't watch him often enough; I wish he was on earlier.

God, Susan Sarandon looks beautiful -- it's sickening to think she's 61 years old! I'm sure I'd do anything, as most other women, to look that good/young by the time I'm 51.

Does Sarandon have a role in the new movie about the 2008 election?????...

"I love your body of work... and I can tell that your body has had a lot of work... not to mention your face..."

She's 61? I'm trying to remember what my grandmother looked like at 61... Nope, definitely not the same.

Gorgeous and so smart.

I just saw Bernard and Doris and she was splendid. I also saw Bull Durham again last week for the first time in ages. She was so brilliant in that role.

Rocky Horror Picture Show was the very first movie I ever snuck into. I was 16 when it came out and it was restricted but it was a must see for everyone in our high school and you just weren't cool until you saw it. We Time Warped at our wedding and my oldest son has carried on the tradition of seeing Rocky Horror at halloween for the past few years. That means Sarandon and her "body of work" have had a huge place in my life all the way through it.

Some of my faves:
Rocky Horror Picture Show
King of the Gypsies
The Hunger (Sarandon, Deneuve and Bowie... does it get any better?)
Atlantic City (I need to see that again soon)
White Palace (Oooh Spader and Sarandon)
Dead Man Walking

She's an actress who's taken so many chances on roles. Her sexuality is so much a part of her and it's great to see that she hasn't put it away as she gets older.

As I recall, David Bowie never liked The Hunger. He said something like: "Elvis Presley made six bad movies in a row, and I made all six when I made The Hunger".

That was Thelma and *Louise*.

I just didn't like the end of Thelma and Louis. I expected them to ram their car against a police car and cause a huge explosion. But otherwise, she's great!

Fuck Craig Ferguson...Letterman pulled his last "boy" for this Scottish asshole. He'll soon pull this one when his popularity goes to hell as did Mr, K's. By the way, Susan looked great, and her film is a good watch. Highly recommended.

I hope that she smacked him in the green room!

Please! As if she wore that dress so that men wouldn't look at her cleavage. There's nothing wrong with tastefully showing off your body (as she did) so long as you recognize that it will result in people looking at your body.

If you want a real treat find a VHS of "Who am I This Time?" adapted from a short story by Kurt Vonnegut directed by Jonathan Demme with Sarandon and Christopher Walken. I've watched it once a month for years and it still brings tears to my eyes.

wow these posts confirm the simpleness of the male mind...lol

guys make it so easy...red dress and large breasts.

She is a beautiful woman, age really doesn't matter. Kind of reminds me of Sofia Loren with her ageless beauty.

Anyone who saw the charming little film "Sweet Hearts Dance" in theaters knows that she don't look too bad without that dress, but that she wasn't always quite that well-endowed.

Go back through many, many of her films.

She's always been quite busty.

What's the problem? She's smart, she's eloquent, she's an activist who is fighting for the greater good, she's a great actress, and she's got a great rack for a 61 year old woman.

I don't think any of that is offensive.

Funny conversation, for both of them.... ;)

Good comic moments.
