Mike Allen passes on word that later this morning Commonwealth of Puerto Rico Governor Anibal Acevedo-Vila will announce his endorsement of Obama.

There are 63 delegates are at stake in the state, which is the last to vote on June 7.

Along with playing a role in Puerto Rico -- if we ever get there -- the planned endorsement is a boost for Obama with Latino voters, where his campaign thinks endorsements can really matter.

Doesn't hurt.

It may just come down to Puerto Rico's delegates to help decide this thing.

After Obama disinfects WI and HI from Clintonitis, he and his ground game need to pull out ALL THE STOPS for OH and TX; bastions of dirty Republicans and Clinton supporters.

I have a feeling the ads will get pretty negative.

Can't count out the scourge of the Clinton disease that's still rampant in this country.

Okay...when did Puerto Rico get it's star on the flag or did it happen and I was not paying attention?

Puerto Rico is not California,Texas or Florida, and latinos are not homogenous. It is an insult to keep presenting us as such.

It is still good news and Puerto Ricans and blacks in NYC have always enjoyed a close alliance.

We'll take it. The more the better.

I think that is a good move. It will help America gain the best choice now available as our next president. Richardson? Where are you? Didn't Bill Clinton insult your integrity strongly enough?
