Why Is David Shuster E-Mailing With Anti-Hillary Group C.U.N.T.?

It was a little before midnight on Tuesday, Jan. 27 that MSNBC correspondent David Shuster hit the "Send" button on a curt e-mail to Republican rabble-rouser Roger Stone.

Days earlier, Mr. Stone and others had filed papers with the I.R.S. to form a "527" organization dedicated to educating "the American Public about what Hillary Clinton really is." The organization was called "Citizens United Not Timid," i.e., C.U.N.T.

"Hey Roger Stone," wrote Mr. Shuster in an e-mail to Mr. Stone's personal Web site, the Stone Zone. "Why not put your own name on this?"

Mr. Stone was in no mood to take flack from an uptight reporter unable to take a joke. Mr. Stone felt the suggestion that he was hiding behind the site was ludicrous. After all, he had invited reporter Matt Labash of The Weekly Standard to sit in on the organization's planning meeting.

The next afternoon, he responded. "Hey David Shuster," Mr. Stone wrote back. "I in essence did when I let the entire planning meeting be on the record for a reporter."

The people behind this "group" must be disgusting examples of humanity. How would they like it if someone called one of their mothers that word? In the end we will all be facing our own mortality; what a thing to look back on, that they called a hard -working decent woman one of the most awful names on the planet. I support Obama but admire Hillary too. And no woman deserves this treatment!!
And I also object to the misleading headlline that seems to drag David Shuster into this. He should sue HuffPo.

I agree with you that the word is terrible and that Hillary is hardworking and a women but she is most certainly not decent. Have you forgotten the way she treats the "little people"... the travel office firings, the "sluts and nuts defense" against Bill's playthings, the people who lost money in her "cattle futures" swindle, and I'm sure there is much more thats been done we may never know about. She is such a poor role model for young girls...Getting ahead by cheating and lying and being a world class enabler for her hubby's "sex addict" behavior.Everyone knows she would've never won any public office if she hadn't married Bill. She is got to be the most boring public speaker I've ever heard.I'm sick of hearing"ready from day 1" She acts as if she was president in the 90's.Oh yea, she also had some over billing issues at the Rose Law firm(like Web Hubble). She gets hired by Rose...why??? Any thing to due with Bill being Gov. of the state? Her career is made on the back of a strong male...some example of a women making it on her own!!! good riddance to the both of them>

FYI

Err...Heads up to anyone donating to Sen. Hillary Clinton... This is not good for you.... Info you provided may be "rented out" By the Clinton campaign to InfoUSA

Clinton InfoUSA Ties Scrutinized

Political campaigns spend thousands, even millions of dollars to acquire good mailing lists.

Last year, New York Sen. Hillary Clinton took the unusual step of renting out some of her lists. The transaction once again highlights the Clintons' connections to a businessman who now faces questions from the Securities and Exchange Commission.

....

Do women have a slang word about men that is as offensive to men as cu*t is to women?

.

Yeah - the word is "husband"....LOL

"PRICK"...

As in, "Roger Stone is a real prick."

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 10:37 PM on 02/13/2008

Sadly, there is not...

...or is it so sad? In vengeful sense, yes. In the sense of not needing yet another word like that in the English language, I guess it's not so sad.

"Prick" hardly fills the bill. I always though "jagoff" was pretty bad but amazingly they don't even bleep that out on Stephen Colbert's show. "God" yes. "Jagoff" no.

I don't think I'll be back at this site anytime soon, it is off my favorite list for good.
Bye bye and my vote will still go to Hillary.

My thoughts exactly! Huffpost was my homepage for a long time, but her hatred of anything Hillary & letting this cheap shot wording to be allowed on the front page...imagine their ballistic outrage & shock IF it were reverse and it was the N word describing Obama!

he thinks of Hillary as a C U N _?

I guess the other question besides your headline would be "why is the Huffington Post giving credence to this group and to tabloid-journalism lovers by naming the group in this headline"?

You guys are really starting to disgust me.

And I can't stand Hillary. For her politics, not her gender.

Here's a better question. Why is HP posting such a misleading headline?

The headline says "Why is David Shuster e-mailing with an anti-Hillary group named C**T?"

This suggests that David Shuster is a part of, or associates with, some vulgar anti-Hillary Clinton group.

If you read the article, it turns out the opposite is true. This group contacted Shuster and he essentially told them to go f**k themselves.

This is really piling on in two ways. The first is to suggest that Shuster is some rabid vulgar anti-female anti-Hillary pig, when there is no evidence to support that. And the second is to find any excuse, no matter how flimsy, to put the word "c**t" in a headline.

My view is that the word "c**t" should never be used by anyone, ever, under any circumstances. It is often the last word out of a man's mouth before he punches some poor woman in the face. It is a violent word, a disgusting word, a threatening word. We don't need HP spread that word. Or finding flimsy excuses to do so.

I agree with you about that word. It's become trendy among hispter women who are the "new youtube-age feminists" to use that word casually and claim "now we can talk like me do!" and "that word isn't filled with hate anymore" but in reality these women don't know what they're talking about and most of them haven't been victims of assault. They use the word from the safety of their crayola crayon colored trendy mac while hanging out in their dorm rooms updating their facebook status.

And I really think it's disgusting that Huffington Post uses it when they know people are at work.

I don't care who's mouth that word comes out of, it's just plain ugly and nasty and demeaning.

Everyone take a couple of minutes to read Joe Wilson's endorsement of Hillary Clinton. It's actually posted on HuffPost - nearly hidden under the title "Battle Tested". As everyone knows, Joe and his wife Valerie Plame have survived the Rove-Bush-Cheney attack machine and survived. Just like Hillary.

This is a man who knows how government works and more importantly how is SHOULD work. It is probably the most important and thought provoking endorsement during this election cycle and should be read and considered by anyone who has not yet voted. It's not too late to bring sanity back into the Democratic party.

Its a misleading title. Shuster defends yet the title suggest he was calling her a cunt. How ridiculous.

On that note, I wonder how many ways CUNTon can "pimp" this issue. How much free press will she get out of it.

I shouldn't say defend, but he did put the screws on someone with questionable behavior.

Huffington Post has outdone itself! It really is a matter of putting the Clinton name and the word cunt together. Shame on you HP. We all know division sells and HP is just another entity that needs to sell itself at all costs. I personally will leave the country if Hillary is elected (if we aren't under martial law). With that said, think about this. Why get all jacked up about the word cunt? Men, since any of us can remember, think about little else but cunts. They covet them, they want to get next to one, sleep with one, pet one, and have one for their very own. They would like two or three of their own actually, but can't unless they have lot's and lot's of money, or don't mind losing the ones they have and getting new ones all the time which is a lot of work. Don't get insulted by the word or give it any negative power. Why, without cunts, those who like to use the word would not even be born to use it! Hooray for cunts! Hillary is not good enough for the word! And clearly, her husband would stay home if she was one!

I wish that this were a case of good honest hardworking American liberals getting punked by punks like you but it is very unlikely that foul-mouthed, ignorant, racist, pedophile, lying, murdering, low-life, thieving, scumbag, conservative, right wing, nazi, pricks like yourself would have the ingenuity and creativeness to come up with such a plan. Now would you?

Why was a journalist from the Weekly Standard, invited to sit in on a planing meeting? Presumably, it was because they thought they could get some favorable coverage, though it's hard to understand how, even the Weekly Standard could stoop that low.

As an Obama supporter, who is no big fan of Hillary, I'm appalled.

This isn't about Hillary. It's about the Republican Party and the fact that it hasn't changed its mode of operation since 1972. They still can't win on the issues so they need crap like the Swift Boat Veterans or this little deal. It's also about MSNBC's gas bags. Matthews, flat hates Hillary. In his case its a case of penis envy.
