Dennis Miller doesn't have much luck with sports. He was unceremoniously dumped by ABC as a commentator for "Monday Night Football" in 2002, and now his Versus cable channel show, "Sports Unfiltered With Dennis Miller," looks destined for the scrap heap after just three months. "Frankly, it doesn't look good," a former staffer tells Santa Barbara News-Press columnist Richard Mineards.

Dennis Miller is a total sell out. I saw him do stand up in the 90's to a mostly Republican audience in the burbs of Illinois (He was opening for Louie Anderson) - he totally bombed because his comedy was all left wing slanted and anti-Republican.

Now suddenly he's this far right wing commentator. He's such a big phony. He goes wherever the dollar is.

He wasn't that funny to begin with - just a footnote in SNL history. Will he get off the stage please.

Poor Dennis Miller. He climbed on the wrong horse to save his "career." The drug munching comedian Limbaugh and the cross dresser Andy Coulter had already drugged the sheople with fascist drivel. He would have been smarter to follow the lead of Ed Schultz and pretend to be progressive. Why be a third rate talent in a crowded field? In addition, without the writers of Saturday Night Live, Miller was no funnier than the studio custodian.
