The group launches a petition drive to keep super-delegates on the sidelines, calling on them "to let the voters decide between Clinton and Obama--and then to support the will of the people."

The petition isn't clear on how to measure the will of the people -- whether by pledged delegates or the popular vote, and what to do about Michigan and Florida.

Howard Dean needs to show some leadership.
First he needs to provide MI and FL with some options.
1. Poll again
2. Seated in same ratio as pledged

Then he needs to step away. The super delegates are not stupid, they know if one canidate or the other had the pledeged delegagte lead and they overturnted that result it would be = a loss in the general election. The MI & FL issue must be resolved now to avoid the appearance of unfairness for either canidate.

With the 'will of the people' evenly divided it seems silly to tell any individual or group how they should vote. Like the rest of us, the decision will be made taking known and unknown factors and they should vote just as they feel is right -- like the rest of us.
