Obama's new comercial in Wisconsin answers back Hillary's ad calling for more debates. The voice over refers to Hillary's piece as the "same old politics of phony charges and false attacks," and then proceeds to highlight Obama's plans on healthcare and housing.

So, after the "fairy tale" speech; the working class voter suppression lawsuit in Nevada; the "53-card deck" in South Carolina; the infamous "Midnight Signature" to subvert a signed agreement and sneak her name onto the ballot in Michigan; a series of base and crass smears against her opponent; organized campaigns against the ladies and gentleman of the press; and, yesterday, her announcement that she will take the nomination even she ISN'T chosen by US - after all that mud and sludge and smear and distortion and spin and intimidation . . .

SHE STILL BELIEVES she will be able to sling the mud of lies and distortions and take the voters' attention off her campaign . . . one rife with financial mismanagement, infighting between staff members, out-of-control "surrogates, and an undisciplined message that has changed at every turn (literally, from "experience" to "change" to "solutions").

Well, it hasn't worked so far. Yesterday, a reporter friend of mine noted her "screeches" after Senator Obama's policy speech received the highest grade of ANY policy speech this year, and said, "You know, they will do or say anything. But it aint' working this year, man."

And none of us are exactly sure why. But we think it has something to do with the fact that Barack Obama has run a quiet, disciplined, well-managed, inspiring and CONSISTENT campaign.

Many people are saying. "You know what? She's right. She's been tested . . . in Congress and on the campaign trail. And she's failed."

OH, AND IF YOU WANNA STOP HER FROM STEALING THE NOMINATION, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO GOTO:

There you can sign the petition to the superdelegates from MoveOn.org:

"The Democratic Party must be democratic. The superdelegates should let the voters decide between Clinton and Obama, then support the people's choice."

Do we really want an angry man running our country like Barak? He needs anger management class.

I've never seen him angry. He's been very intense in his speeches but never angry.

Yeah, sklfcats, have you ever actually watched Barack Obama? I've never seen him angry. I think you're mistaking passion for anger.

Angry -- you have got to be kidding ... spare me!
You mean not happy like in the Hillary for you and me video ... maybe he is just serious and his ability to contest her claims demonstrates he will not be swiftboated by the Clinton lie machine

Typical of some on this post to label Barack as an "angry black man". I knew this would happen somewhere along the campaign. Whenever a black man/woman is passionate about something or even raises their voice, they're considered angry and someone to be feared. Hillary seems to be the angry one and people have no problem with her anger, instead she's labeled a strong woman.

Well maybe not... but do we REALLY want an over-the-hill cry-baby turning on the tears every time something doesn't go her way?

I can just see it now: "I don't knowwww..[sniffle-sniffle]. I just really wanted this Health Care bill to get out of the House this weeeekk [sobs]..

People please - I think we all need to take a breath because this is getting ugly. We are essentially arguing in my opinion minor points with the kind of venom that implies that our lives depend on it.
I'm not naive, its politics and it gets dirty but seriously, Enough. At the end of the day nobody is perfect both of these candidates due to their profession have to occasionally lie down with dogs - however in my opinion neither of them are particularly flee ridden (I will concede a few for both). That said while we tear these 2 down over these minor differences we do ourselves a disservice.
For full disclosure I support Obama - I prefer his healthcare plan because I don't want to be in the business of essentially taxing the poor (feel free to disagree) and I particularly like his ideas on economic stimulus that at the same time promotes environmental issues as well as his college subsidies that require the recipient to volunteer. That said I REFUSE to bash Hilary Clinton to this level on what I consider minor issues - it does me a disservice. If she wins I will support her to the hilt.
Once a nominee is decided that is when the claws come out. Yesterday John Mcain who I previously respected became unbelievably flee infested by voting to allow water boarding (TORTURE people) to essentially buy the support of the republican parties conservative base. Sorry but to agree that torture is ok to make a bunch of lunatics who want to impose their religious ideology on me happy is a huge issue for me and beating up 2 candidates who are not even in that zipcode only plays into their hands.
I won"t do it " please can we have this discussion like the civilized people we are.

Good post. As a young entrepreneur, I also like Obama's idea of offering grants to start small businesses.

Amazing, how people can say that Obama cannot debate yet Hillary refuses to explain her healthcare plan, OMITTING the fact that she will garnish your paycheck! Hillary's answer to the housing mess is to keep on paying though
the value of the house has deteriorated by 50%.
The fact that the Pharma Industry is her biggest campaign donor does not mean anything to the lemmings. Do you really think things will change with Hillary or even for that Obama, only Obama is the lesser evil. Forget McCain, no GOP PERIOD.

Our present political races seem to be dominated by three sitting Senators of the United States.

Let them therefore, one and all, ACT like Senators.

This means: you do not "blast" your COLLEAGUE. You do not shame him or her for your own political coinage. Instead, you debate them fairly. You are, as it were, interviewing for the job of CEO, of an organization with more than 320 million customers.

Quit listening to PR agents and pollsters and start acting like ... the ladies and gentlemen that you actually are.

The point isn't that Barry won't debate Hillary.

The point is that he CAN'T debate Hillary, or anyone else.

Anything besides a recycled slogan like "Yes We Can?" seems to beyond his intellect. Certainly that of his supporters.

There are two more; I suggest you catch them.

Apparently actually PAYING ATTENTION to the debates is beyond your intellect, as is educating yourself by visiting his website. Or writing a grammatically correct sentence, for that matter.

Garry Wills wrote "Lincoln At Gettysburg," subtitled, "The Words That Remade America." Will points out important qualities of Presidential speeches - and the analogy to Obama is not lost....

Everyone of my Jewish friends and most of my union friends have said they will not vote for Barack Hussein Obama. They will be voting for McCain is Hillary is cheated out of the nomination. The Clintons did so much for African Americans.

It is sickening how Obama is spending millions to buy superdelegates. I would bet there is Saudi money behind it.

BO's ad got mad at HRC's ad? I wonder if she will counter about his ad and on and on. Good to see the real issues matter to BO. Instead of saying why we should vote for him he does an ad attacking a commercial. Grow up BO!!!

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 11:15 PM on 02/14/2008

Clintonistas really need to stop. Clintons add attacked him for not debating.....Good to see she is all about the issues.....and today she attacked him for giving speeches....
Hillary is pathetic.
He is grown he handled being attacked as an adult should.....dismissed her infantile drivel and talked about his issues.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 10:34 AM on 02/15/2008

So, Mr. Obama briefly answering to a Clinton attack is some how not grown up? Get real. Have you even watched the video? He spends like 4 seconds answering to the "debate attack" and then goes into his message on housing and the economy. That was so immature of him. You may want to have your reality checked, I think it may be broken.

My favorite quote of the day from the Huckster: Hillary's message is not working, because the American people are not looking for someone who can fix the carburator, they are looking for someone who can drive the car! (HRC for senate leader, chief of staff or like position that suits her numerous qualities infinitely better!)

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 10:52 PM on 02/14/2008

BO can't drive. He HOPES to drive the car, if Michelle will give him the keys and some phone books to sit on. HRC is Nascar. BO is Tonka cars

Actually Obama is the Pit crew chief that wants US to drive the car.
Hillary thinks we need to move over and let her drive rather than motivate us to win the race OURSELVES.

Huckster why HRC's messge is falling flat: we are not looking to elect someone who can fix the carburator, but someone who can drive the car!

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 10:53 PM on 02/14/2008

She can do both. She can also ask for directions when lost. Something BO could never do because he is male and will continue to get lost -- just like GWB, only BO drives on the left side of the road.

And what legislation would a fired-up and united GOP congress let a president Clinton get away with? (These polls need to be re-elected back home!) Look at the way she managed it the last time around - my way or the highway, and look at the way she's been running this largely inherited campaign (name recognition, establishment support, staff and organisation) almost into the gournd... and now Sen. Clinton wants to do for the country what she did for her campaign?! HAve we not seen how disastrous a stubborn leader is, who is shielded from reality by a cocoon of loyalists, where loyalty trumps performance?!
