Once again Bill Clinton is lying. Here is what his secretary of labor Robert Reich says about the two different healthcare plans:
"She says his would insure fewer people than hers. I’ve compared the two plans in detail. Both of them are big advances over what we have now. But in my view Obama’s would insure more people, not fewer, than HRC’s. That’s because Obama’s puts more money up front and contains sufficient subsidies to insure everyone who’s likely to need help – including all children and young adults up to 25 years old."

I have yet to meet a single person who does not want health insurance. There is a difference between wanting to get health insurance and not being able to afford if. Mandating health insurance while doing nothing upfront about the costs will be disastrous. Bring down the premiums and watch enrollment soar. The system we have in place cannot be easily discarded. If we wanted the system Hillary is touting it should have been implemented at the start. You can't plug it in midway and hope it works.

LISTEN PEOPLE:

Hillary DID NOT stay with Bill during all those years of his PHILANDERING,..... because she loved him,.....or because of her belief in the sanctity of marrarige.

She did so because she knew she would need him later on for her own political ambitions.

Now, ALL OF YOU SHALLOW PEOPLE, are trying to deny her that.

How dare you!

She's ENTITLED to this nomination.

I'm single.

But had I been married to a spouse who REPEATEDLY cheated on me - as a public or private figure - then I would be single.

Great Luck!

You lifted this rant directly from Rush Limbaugh's show. Try to at least reword it instead of regurgitating Rush's rant word for word. However, if you must post Rush's views on this matter, at least have the decency to cite the source you ignorant douchebag.

I don't listen to Rush Limbaugh.

I don't know what he said or when, but I've been posting & re-posting this for days.

Besides, I think the point is obvious to most people.

Have a great weekend!

During Clinton's administration, after Hillary's health-care plan failed, Bill Clinton dropped all efforts to try again. He did nothing more to implement a health-plan during the rest of his term.

This is news to me, when did we get the business and medical community behind universal health care?

Count me out. I won't participate in this fiasco. Universal Health Care was the platform Bill Clinton ran on in 1993 and what did we get : Higher Medical Bills while he was screwing around with Monica Lewinsky. I won't Vote. Count me out. The entire Nation is a fraud, an insult to the Founders. Vote DIEBOLD / MSNBC 08', give all your money to the Federal Reserve, lose your house, die in the streets and leave the debt to your children who will be slaves of the Chinese while the Central Bankers laugh at you as they ski down the slopes of Switzerland.

I hear ya.

Note that the Founding Fathers predicted, and attempted to prepare us, for such days as these -- even as they cast off the British themselves. To wit:

"Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."
http://www.archives.gov/exhibits/charters/declaration_transcript.html

They then spent the next few years designing the mechanism of IMPEACHMENT into the Constitution.

So you don't like Hillary? Vote Obama. Otherwise it's President More-o-the-same McCain, heir-apparent to the despot.

Cheers.

Seriously, is it possible for this man to ever tell the truth about anything????

When the Clintons say "words are cheap," they must be talking about themselves.

Excuse me? Bill you had 8 years to do healthcare and put Hillary in charge. Don't remember you trying again. And while I am at it, what did you do to promote a sane energy policy? One last point.....NAFTA.

Agreed. And i can't understand why anyone's letting her get away with equating "mandated" health insurance with "universal" health insurance.

And given her vote with the credit card companies as far as bankruptcy is concerned, my heart really goes out to the people who won't be able to afford the health care she'll force them to purchase.

Follow the money? It's going straight to the insurance companies, even if she has to garnish wages to make it so.

The spin would be masterful, were it not for the fact that very few of us are buying it.
