Mindful of poll numbers that put her husband behind Hillary Clinton in Ohio's March 4 primary, Michelle Obama stopped in the state Friday to relish the role of the underdog....

..."We're going to win Iowa - Ohio," she said to a laughing and forgiving audience. "We're going to win Ohio just like we won Iowa -- that's what I was trying to say."

Sorry Michelle, too many fools have drank from the poisonous Clinton chalice!

Ohio has been brainwashed and deceived by establishment slaves!

Senator Claire McCaskill (D) Missouri, elected for the first time to the United States Senate in November 2006, explained why she was supporting Senator Barack Obama to be President of the United States. She is the only one of the 16 female Senators who now is.

These are her words. "It was a little nudging from my 18 year old Daughter." "It was Maddie in my face."
"She said, "How can you look yourself in the mirror, you"re a slug, you"re playing it politically safe, I believe in this guy, I"ll never speak to you again if you don"t stand up and have some courage." "

"It was pretty intense, she was right, it was like a cold bucket of water on my head, she was absolutely right."

This is one of the new breed of Democrats we sent to Congress in 2006 to end the Iraq War. The war has not ended and this is what we got instead. Are your kids holding their breath unless you vote for Barack Obama? Are we making the right choice now?

It would be very interesting to watch an interview of Mrs. Obama on television, or to listen to one on NPR.

I used to think that if we elected Hillary then we would also get Bill. But now I hope that we elect Obama so we can get Michelle!

The more I see of this woman and hear her speak, the more I like her.

The Obama campaign feels more and more like a cult. It seems totally centered around the wonderfulness of being an Obama worshiper and experiencing the cult of Obama. It reminds me of the original EST from the 1970's run by Werner Ehrhard, who himself used to be in Scientology.

At some point Obama will be forced to make known in detail what his position will be on taxes, Iran, Israel, Iraq, federal budget deficits and school vouchers. I am afraid hope, good vibes and change seem like vague and ephemeral hot air slogans in a balloon that will be punctured in the fall by McCain.

Cults do not last long and often have ugly endings.

Indeed.

We have been ruled by the Cult of the Republicans for a really long time .

These last 8 years have been particularly cultish even for the Republican Cult: secrets abound, conspiracies, massive corruption, covert leaders (Cheney and Rove)and lots of sacrifical killing:one million dead Iraquis and 30,000 American troops killed and wounded.

Yup, cults can be a bitch.

The Obama campaign is a cult. Obama and McCain are on Soros payroll. Obama's church is homophobic and racists. There is also no way that Barack Hussein Obama, the madrassah student, is going to get the Jewish vote. Democrats need to wake up and vote for Hillary. The Clintons have been very good to America.

I really think the spouses should stay out of this. Bill and Michelle are both eyesores and they don't really have anything to add to the debate...it's not like they're Elizabeth Edwards or anything.

Anyway, doesn't she have small children she should be tending to?

The Silence Was Deafening
Posted by Fernando Suarez| 1

(CBS)From CBS News' Fernando Suarez:

AKRON, OHIO -- Hillary Clinton made a stop at the Lockheed Martin plant in Akron today, but about the only thing that was hot in the room were the reactors working in the plant. Clinton received an awkwardly chilly reception at the plant, so much so that upon taking the stage the music was cut short because the crowd was just standing there watching her and no longer clapping.

Clinton started her speech by offering her "prayers" to the family members of those who lost loved ones at the shooting at University of Northern Illinois. "I was deeply saddened by the terrible shooting that occurred," said Clinton.

Clinton then began laying out her standard stump speech and when she reached key applause lines like wanting to build up America"s manufacturing plants or offering universal health care or even building America"s national defense programs, there was nothing but silence.

In fact, Clinton"s first applause came 11 minutes into a 12 minute speech when she said she would bring troops home from Iraq. Clinton quickly wrapped up her speech following the applause.

A campaign spokesman denied that she cut her remarks short and said that Clinton met with supporters and delivered her points of her speech.

Having been to more Clinton events than I care to remember, this was by far the shortest speech and most silent reception I can recall.

you clearly were.

Hillary Rodham Clinton is a corporatist. She"s on the Senate Armed Services Committee, hasn"t lifted a finger against major corrupt, unnecessary weapons system contracting or even weapons system. She's long-time friend of the military-industrial complex.

This should not be a headline.

Ms. Obama saying "We're going to win Ohio" in a rally speech to rally students is drastically different from saying the exact same thing in a press conference or to a reporter.

That's right. We should only take it out of context when it's Hillary saying it.
