"Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton said Sunday she might be willing to garnish the wages of workers who refuse to buy health insurance to achieve coverage for all Americans.
The New York senator has criticized presidential rival Barack Obama for pushing a health plan that would not require universal coverage. Based on everything I've read about this, I would be inclined to dismiss anything that doesn't sound like troop withdrawal and pressure to get the federal budget balanced as 'bullshit', no matter whose mouth it came out of. Barack is fully at liberty to prove me wrong, but I'm not on the edge of the chair, here. I think our military is in the middle of some pretty serious longstanding corruption, things he probably knows about/knew about, I think the whole country has money problems, and we'll probably be lucky to have the lights on by 2012. Thug armies, and trillions more in the hole? Or reform?

perhaps "down" simply meant "down in the polls, political view, etc." we don't need to inject some type of perceived gender flaw or gender-based innuendo. i read what he actually said (not just partial quotation). in its full context, it doesn't remotely reflect anything anti-female.
