Black voters are heavily represented in the 94th Election District in Harlem's 70th Assembly District. Yet according to the unofficial results from the New York Democratic primary last week, not a single vote in the district was cast for Senator Barack Obama.

That anomaly was not unique. In fact, a review by The New York Times of the unofficial results reported on primary night found about 80 election districts among the city's 6,106 where Mr. Obama supposedly did not receive even one vote, including cases where he ran a respectable race in a nearby district.

Read more here.

So what else isn't new?

Amazing how in the good old days, with Bill meeting with some Hasidic rabbi felons in the White House, that Senate candidate Hillary just happened to sit in on, it goes without saying that the word "pardon" never came up. (Oh no, never, we'd never be part of such a thing!}

Amazing how Hillary later defeated Lazio in their districts by thousands to ZERO!

That white house conference must have been very inspiring indeed!

Wonder how Bill Clinton's decision to pardon FALN terrorists, convicted killers of NY's finest, translated into even more Hispanic votes for Hillary, even more that the large amount she could rightfully expect anyway?

Funny how Bill

PARDONED TERRORISTS

and somehow has never, even to this day, been
held to account as to precisely why it was so important to do to in that case, other than vague twaddle about "thinking about it more leaves me even more convinced I made the right decision."

Which, when Bill speaks as such, you know something actually was up!

When a popular candidate like Barack Obama receives NO votes in 80 districts in New York, we know that there is something rotten going on in New York.

And if voting machines were used then most of us know how easy it is for any programmer to manipulate those machines.

This should be on the Front page above the fold in BIG BLACK INK from coast to coast. This is it...This is what it is all about...

"Still, for those inclined to consider conspiracy theories, the figures provided plenty of grist"----from the NYT article.

Who needs voter suppression and disenfrachisement when a properly placed and timed call the DIEBOLD execs will throw you an election....

And right beside it they can run the story of Obama stealing his first election in Ilinois from Alice Palmer.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 01:35 PM on 02/17/2008

Lets say, that in Illinois (Obama's home state) specifically in Chicago, Hillary would have recieved 0 votes in 80 districts ( many of which had heavy female, lower educated, over 50 demographic) and Obama had the same thing happen in only a handful of cases. Would not the Clinton camp smell something foul. Wouldn't they assume the handful of 0 votes for Obama was just a token in order to give some cover and deniability to a case of election fraud.

Let's think about this, folks. If this story is actually accurate, it should be fully reported and investigated. Whichever candidate suffered a similar imbalance should be outraged and cognizant of the kind of Rovian tricks that politicians are tempted to practise when their backs are against the wall.

And I would image the election officials in New York are investigating the problem and will get it straightened out. Simply amazes me how everything that pops up is the Clintons' fault.

What I would like to know, is once all these CHANGES that Sen. Obama is promising to institute if he is elected, who is going to pay for them? Is our national debt going to to up and weaken the dollar even further? (Of course maybe he is going to be able to bring about all these changes (like a $210 billion jobs program) without it costing us, the taxpayers, anything! When has Washington D.C. ever done anything that has not cost us money?

And of course, once our national debt rises under his administration, if he is elected, the fault is going to be the Clintons!

I you're looking for real motive and opportunity to screw with these particular districts, start looking at Charles Rangel.

HRC could lose these districts and chalk it up to not being black. Rangel, however, couldn't afford the embarrassment a fair counting of these ballots would cause him. He'd lose the power and prestige that come with bringing these votes in for Clinton and he'd be under enormous pressure to swing for Obama.

Sticking with HRC to the bitter end in the face of Obama winning these votes would create a real opportunity for a primary challenger. It's a fairly common story for long-time, popular congressmen like Rangel. They start to take their constituency for granted, then they become arrogant, then outright abusive. Toward their sunset years, they get knocked out in a primary from a young upstart who can exploit the incumbent's arrogance. This is precisely the narrative Rangel could avoid with a "lost ballot box" here and there.

Do you think Rangel was promised a job with Clinton ? Sure seems that way, with Rangel being black. I'm beginning to wonder why Hillary is high tailing it out of Wisconsin when she was suppose to stay until Tuesday. Maybe they have the same thing going on here. Hillary was doing good at the beginning and thought she would win most other states. I wouldn't put a thing past Billary, and I voted for HIM twice. All of a sudden Hillary decided to leave when the news about NY came out.

The inferrence here is that Hillary had the election rigged in NY.
Yeah, right. That explains why she's so far ahead of Obama.

Wow! Libs. Naievete, or worse.

This IS the Dem Party; nothing unusual about it at all.

One given about the upcoming election is that we will all be sitting around the tube at midnight waiting for the same precincts to report that have been reporting at midnight for decades.

The same states, the same Dem precincts (probably the same ones under review here), & the same fictitious "problems."

Oh, we've got to hold the polls open, voters are being disenfrancished, malfunctioning machines, etc. etc.

Dems love to praise Jimmy's post-Presidency work, yet he was ignored when he led the commission to eliminate voter fraud in the United States; stonewalled by his own Party & ignored by the MSM.

Dems steal elections, and in this case primaries. It's what they do.

I suggest you read the current issue of Harper's magazine; there has been ONE reported case of voter fraud in the last 50 years. ONE. Whereas there have been thousands and thousands of cases of voter suppression and intimidation by Retardlicans and Dixicrats (aka KKK).You conservos like to solve problems that don't exist and ignore problems that do.

One of us is "missing the point."

Voter fraud is widespread among Dems but is never 'reported" because the Dem Party & the local precincts & voters are all "in on it."

Which I believe is the subject of this post.

As I stated earlier, even Jimmy Carter recognizes this & wanted to correct the fraud but the Dems shunned him.

Which Party is actively campaigning today to prevent a voter from having to accurately identify himself?

It's not the Republicans.

exerpt from the baltimore sun:

In the days leading up to the first Southern primary, also the first to include large numbers of African-American voters, the former president went on the attack against Obama in a way that many blacks saw as racially tinged. The attacks were widely interpreted as an attempt by the Clintons to define Obama, who had de-emphasized race in his campaign, as a black candidate, presumably with an eye toward preventing Obama from building support among white voters.

"When she won New Hampshire, they thought they were back on a roll again, so they decided to send him into South Carolina and try to make a difference there," said a Clinton supporter with high-level experience in national campaigns over the past three decades. "They should have just let Barack win by 12 points, because it would have been nothing, and they would have moved on. Instead, they made 12 points into 28. The strategy all along has been mistake after mistake after mistake."

Another supporter said voters had begun to get comfortable with the idea of her as president but "the more [Bill] came into the picture, the more it detracted from that. It also brought up this image in people's minds of a co-presidency, which voters weren't comfortable with."

A Clinton superdelegate who served in Bill Clinton's administration said the former president "has screwed this thing up for her big-time. They need to send him out of the country for a long, long time. I am angry at Bill Clinton and I think there are other Hillary people who are angry at Bill, who felt that she was running a very good, solid campaign - she wasn't the exciting one, but she was the solid one - and then he came in and made it nasty, and single-handedly pushed away black voters."

dont wanna say i told ya so, but i told ya so.

When they become "Billary", people recoil.

i dont disagree brooklynlager. i was just actually tooting my own super insightful horn.
i have been posting for around a month that the downturn of the clinton campaign was when bill started running his mouth in a very negative way including his lies about what obama said regarding republicans being the party of ideas as well as bill saying to reporters he was against the iraq war from the beginning. (which, of course, he was not). going into iowa i was undecided but leaning towards edwards. once i was reminded by bill of all the bad memories from his presidency (i voted for him twice) i lost any motivation for his wife. she then repeated the same line 2 debates ago, where she said obama said republicans for 10 to 15 years were the party of good ideas, which of course obama did not say.
i can not help but see the clintons as people who will do and say anything to win regardless of how it affects our country.

So is anyone surprised? Billary had a diebold bump in a few primaries in the early states. NY voting being scewed just seems like another power monger trick to grab up votes desperately from under the noses of the American people. Im not sure my vote counted this year because the voting system is owned by greedy corporations whos financial backers have certain political persuasions *cough* clinton *cough* Someone needs to investigate this publicly and announce the recount that Kucinich asked for in the earlier questionable districts.

At long last people are realizing that Bill is not the greatest politician of our time; in fact he is a disaster.

If you look at his contributions to Democratic political thought from triangulation to "strong is wrong" to Sistah Souljah part 2 in South Carolina, it has all been totally wrong and a disaster for those he has tried to help.

It was Bill that pushed the Dems to cave to the Republicans. It was Bill who pushed support for Bush's Iraq war.

Now in the unltimate irony, he has destroyed his wife just like he destroyed the Democratic Party.

Bill Clinton is the burden of Hillary Clinton.
She would have fared better if she left her burden behind at home and not dragging it along on the road.

Bill Clinton is doing this more out of guilt than love, that is why he has been receiving negative responses.
Love begets love.
Guilt begets guilt.

Hillary Clinton should just tell him to go back home and look after his mother-in-law.

"If this is true," to my mind it is obviously a set-up. Someone like Karl Rove was counting the votes.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 11:57 AM on 02/17/2008

If Karl Rove could set something like that up in New York City, that means he's far more powerful than any of us thought.

It this turns out to be true, a serious "voter fraud" investigation by the NY state attorney general, not should but MUST be launched immediately. Charlie Rangle from the district in question should be in the forefront, putting pressure on the Attorney General to make that happen.

We the people must reclaim our most basic citizen's right and that is to be able to vote without impediment and then to have our vote counted accurately.

We had something very similar happen here in Florida in Katherine Harris' former district. A massive undervote that favored the Republican candidate by just a few vites, enough for him to win.

The problem was several-fold. It started with the dubious electronic voting machines that left no paper trail, then the software manufacturer's refusal to allow the source code to be examined, claiming trade secret issues, and the refusal for anyone to insist that any technology used for the purpose of exercising democracy must be in the public domain. This is OUR source code, not Diebold's. Sure, they may have written it, and in any othyer circumstances, it is their intellectual propoerty, but it cannot be kept secret if it impacts the outcome of elections.

If this story proves to be accurate it really deserves front page, headline, above the fold, treatment - until resolved - regardless of the candidate it effected.

Senator Obama not receiving even a single vote across 80 districts within Harlem's 70th is an inconceivable occurrence in this Primary.

It's also a completely implausible defense to infer that Senator Clinton was simply more popular in this region.

I'd be be offering this exact same suggestion if the situation were reversed.

It's the system that's at stake if the report is true folks. This is no time for bias.

With all the election shenanigans this primary season favoring The Clintons--NH, CA, NM, NY--I'm starting to wonder if they did not arrange for
Gore to lose Arkansas and Tennessee in 2000. And of course she just happened to win big in those two states this year.

Voting is THE basic act of democracy and voter fraud is a criminal act. The Electoral College is overtly elitist and accepting crooked voting machines is enabling fascism!!

If you read through this thread, you will see that people are differentiating between voter fraud and election fraud. What is taking place here is election fraud. People, voters, are voting in good faith, but it's the tallying that is crooked.

Of course.......thanks and I'll regret having to say this but, I Told You So.....My family has heard this from me for one year....The tallying is where they can do their cheating....Also, if this whole election accomplishes just one good thing, it will be to attempt to bring out all the many ways elections have been crooked in the past...And we think our Democracy is a Dreamland...But then, whatever evil happens in Life, God will bring Good out of It. This we know......
