Bill Clinton Slap

MSNBC News:

Robert Holeman came to Timken High School here today with a message to deliver to Bill Clinton. He did -- and he said the former president wasn't happy about it....

...Holeman said that Clinton responded by saying Obama came after him first. Holeman also described Clinton's reaction to him as "irate."

"I think he even hit me in the face with his hand," he said. "He did give me a little pop. It was okay, because I understand his tenacity for his wife." Clinton did engage Holeman for a few minutes, at times pointing directly at him. It was unclear whether he did make physical contact, however.

So Bill slaps a heckler in the face . . . he will always be a class act. Not.

This supporter is just simply a rude man. Robert Holeman (hole-in-the-head-man) can support whomever he wants in the upcoming election but when you go to a camapign event to hear someone speak, he should at least have the respect to LISTEN without interupting! Regardless who he supports, his action was uncalled for and rude!
His parents should have taught him as a young man these lessons.

More planted crap for the parasites to latch onto. Instead of listening to the tangible points he makes we are disingenuously outraged at how it is presented, albeit falsely characterized. Instead of bashing Clinton, who worked with a divided congress hell bent on destroying him and leading the country to surplus, economic success of all and respect all over the world.

90 percent of the country is generally in the same place and undivided, exactly where the Clintons are. The remaining extreme left and extreme right seem like they will never get together. If you mean we need someone to bring the extremists in our country together, it is fantasy and an exercise with no benefit for the country. If you think the war mongers are not as wed to their position and the peaceniks – I really have a bridge to sell you...

What you really see are the old enemies of the Clinton health care plan and pundits who felt slighted in some way we know nothing about. They are going berserk to smear what were the best results for the country of any president in history. The Obama plan is a windfall for the insurance companies. How about some tangible issues as opposed to just hating Clinton for no rational reason except that you are for Obama.

The majority of posters on this site are Obama volunteers. Be wary also of any who say they are female. This article says "I think" he touched my face. Has HuffPO gone insane. Are they not above anything to trash HC. Is Arianna really a man?

Hey - Arianna is smart and hot. I may not agree with her but would love to debate her face to face. Don't be a jerk. OPAH.

OMG! This is so funny! "Be wary also of ANY who say they are female."!!! Billary supporters are turning seriously neurotically PARANOID; it must be the company you are keeping.

No wonder she is proposing to FORCE everyone to BUY her insurance deals... It must be all the MEDICATION shortage she is facing in her campaign headquarters.

One of the reasons I support Obama is to turn the page on this continued rehashing of events that occurred in the 1960's and that is what it is really all about .. The Clintons are angry because they are being challenged and there is no traction from the sixties ... the "culture wars" can be fought between McCain and Clinton ... but it is old tired divisive and has gotten us to the horrible historic juncture at which we find ourselves now ...
I can criticize the president it is my right to do so as a citizen ... and I want to take this country back and move past something that is unresolvable ...

KaAp, hard to disagree with your comments. This country doesn't need 4 more years of seething hatreds and divisions caused by both the current Commander Guy and his predecessor, Bill Clinton. Americans want real change, not just a tweaking of policies, but character change and a little breathing room from all the rancor and invective we've been getting.

Bill Clinton back in the White House is not what America needs, regardless of how much Hillary wants to play the victim of media persecution against her.

Those attacks, in case she missed it, are the outgrowth of years of her clever politician husband who did nothing for the Democratic Party except relegate it to minority satus for his last 6 years in office and beyond.

For the sake of American women, boycott the Clintons. I voted for Bill twice, ditto Hillary as senator, but her constant whining about "those mean men, they're not being nice to me", sets women back and places them as weak and in need of defending. Women should be outraged at that.

And she's either endorsed the racism of her campaign, or she can't control the message of her own campaign. Either way, not so good..

Throw in that she voted to allow Bush to start the war, and I'm at the point where i can't vote for her.

How different is her voting record on the war from McCain's?

Bill Clinton is casting one very loud vote against his wife. There is no excuse for a former president to behave so childishly.

He is trying to sabotage her campaign, either consciously or unconsciously. Let's see if he makes an anti-Hispanic remark the week before the Texas Primary.

The concensus of the people who were actually there felt that the heckler was way out of line. What right do Obama supporters exercise when they stifle the other campaign's rally. MSNBC again shows that they are to the left of The National Enquirer and not a source for objective news.

The DEMS have had ONE successful PRESIDENT in the last 40 YEARS, BILL CLINTON, If not for the butterfly ballot in Palm Beach County that gave 4,000 Gore votes to Pat Buchannan, the wooden Al Gore would be President today. Obama is JIMMY CARTER, weak and indecisive and has the very same ultra-rich backers, the David Rockerfeller wing of the DEMS with their media connections and money. See a piece at the NEW YORK MAG> nymag.comm) April 16, 2007 called "Money Chooses Sides" it shows a pic of George Soros sitting at an Obama fundraiser. Carter and Obama were both total unknowns but with the muscle their backers provided made them both household names in a sort period of time. The MSM loved them both.

Define success.

Selling missle guidance technology to the Chinese?

Escalating the drug war?

Squandering many opportunities to affect any meaningful change?

This country hasn't had a good President in my adult life.

Somebody's trumping up a non-story just to feed the media frenzy. The press is looking for shit just to keep the "controversy" going. So there was heckler at one of Bill's stops. My goodness. Imagine that. A heckler, at a political rally. Wow! BIG NEWS! A heckler who is obviously not too bright. And then Billy engages this obviously not to bright heckler in an "intense conversation", according to the so-called journalist. Wow, Bill, that's really smart. What a story! A heckler, at a political rally...gotta be a first time for everything.

If you think Bill is a nuisance, boy, wait until his wife is POTUS. This man is out of control. He will take over the Presidency, the VOP slot and as the Secretary of State. Bill thinks he is the smartest man in America, he thinks he is the center of the universe. If americans have any sense, they should reject this rabid couple. They are going to be both a circus and a nightmare for this country.

I think its a sad day for America when a former President says that we are The Divided States of America and Not The United States of America. That this man from Hope has lost all hope in the ability of American to unite for a common good. That the man who in 1992 ran on hope for a better future. Now says its a fairy tale and if you don't believe it, hes got some land to sell you. Today of all days, Presidents Day, when Obama's beacon of hope is raising the beliefs of our nations youths like no others since JFK. There is the sad reality that I find myself upset, ashamed and embarrassed that we ever elected this Man Bill Clinton President.

Answer me this Why is it OK for Michelle Obama at the beginning of the primaries to say "Black people better wake up and vote for Barack." and that is fine but Hillary can't say "It took a president to enact civil rights legislation." It seems to me that there are two sets of rules in this country.

You are either ill informed or seek to misinform. That statement was a response to a question as to why black voters who like Obama won't vote for him. You are taking the statement out of context, print the question and answer and let people judge for themselves.

Oh, Bill, is there no depths to which you would not plunge to regain the spotlight?

Bet this guy is the same one the Clintons hired to follow Bill around and heckle him about 9/11.

Or maybe he was one of the "Iron my shirts!" hecklers who was paid to show up at Hillary's NH stunt.

The Clintons are simply two, tired, old (bad) actors who don't know when to get off the stage, and who would do ANYTHING to get back in the WH!

"Bet this guy is the same one the Clintons hired to follow Bill around and heckle him about 9/11."

This isn't farfetched. When running for the Senate, Lyndon Johnson would have a person in the crown positioned to catch a Stetson that Johnson would toss to the crown. That guy would then rush to the next appearance and the routine would be repeated to the delight of the crowd.

The Clintons are notorious for appropriating the ideas of others, so your LBJ analogy is right on -- and it's probably where Bill got the idea from.

It would be interesting if the MSM would investigate these kinds of incidents more thoroughly. They always seem to occur just before a big election.

Hmmmmmmm.

I tended to agree with you until the last few days.

I'm on vacation, so I've been reading & posting a lot more than usual & I've been noticing an absurd amount of internecine vitriol. I also thought it was mainly right-wing instigators trying to stir sh@t up, but more and more, I think it really is Clinton supporters v. Obama supporters.

Which is to say, the instigators seem to be reasonably successful, as Democrats are now openly using GOP talking points against each other. The excuse given is usually that we need to know what dirt the GOP will try to use, but it's clear people are buying into the smears they're repeating.

To a non-Democrat, it's asinine & short-sighted. There's a whole spectrum between GOP omerta (Ronnie Raygun's 11th Commandment), & savaging allies like there's no tomorrow.
