Both Marylyn Monroe and Lindsey Lohan are NOT talented!! When will people learn that Marylyn Monore couldn't act for shit, just like Lindsey Lohan? Marylyn Monroe was a sex icon, nothing more, nothing less; wow, what a great accomplishment! Lohan is known for “Mean Girls”, cocaine abuse, anorexia, boob job, and for drinking and clubbing underage; again, wow, what an accomplishment.

People today are more easily entertained and stimulated. It's like these people are little Kids looking into a gyroscope for the first time.

Everyone else is weighing in with their opinions, so here is mine:

Ms. Lohan is much the better actress, and very pretty.

Ms. Monroe is prettier in her pictures, and was an interesting actress.

How original is that? there are tons of Marilyn look alike and so many who are not drug addicts like Lohan.

The photographer could have chosen anyone to recreate this scene. Imagine how much sexier anyone else would have been here. First off, Lindsey is a terrible actress. She cannot convince us that she is the sultry woman she wants to be. She seems tired, old and spoiled. Her story has no depth and neither do the pictures. Had they chosen anyone else, even Britney, the pictures would have had more zest.
Lindsey's body isn't the disaster people are making it out to be, but it definitely does not look great. It seems like a lackluster attempt at recreating something that was spontaneously beautiful.
Im actually sad that New York Mag chose to publish these pictures. This would normally be in the bottom left corner of their approval matrix: Lowbrow and Despicable.

I don't mind that she took the project on - and I have nothing against Lohan - but seriously - she just doesn't cut it. Her self-awareness is WAY too high.

Perhaps there'll just never be another Marilyn?

Men will ogle anything that takes its clothes off. Lohan hot? Hardly - (no pun intended) she is simply naked and not attractively so. So many of today's young people think less clothes, lots of makeup, and jumping in bed with every man who wiggles his finger = sexy. Too bad they haven't figured out that it is just the opposite.

Emulating Monroe? Honestly, does she really think the dyed hair, pouty looks, fake beauty spot, and tons of pancake can make her look like Marilyn Monroe?

Monroe led a very troubled life, but she had something Lohan will never have - Marilyn Monroe never looked hard, greedy, or grasping - all traits Lohan displays with every move she makes. Marry that with her inability to act and I guess it can be understood why she might try to emulate an icon. and fail.

Marilyn had hips, a waist, a curvy womanly body. Lohan has pendulous boobs and looks pretty used up for her age. Just saying.
