Lindsay Lohan Nude: Starlet Recreates Marilyn Monroe Photospread

In 1962, photographer Bert Stern shot a series of photos of Marilyn Monroe at the Hotel Bel-Air that have collectively come to be known as "The Last Sitting." The photographs are arguably the most famous images ever captured of America's most famous actress. Six weeks after she had posed, Monroe was found dead of an apparent barbiturate overdose.

Lindsay Lohan recreated that photoshoot with NY Magazine, down to the lighting. Her whole photospread with Stern is in the new fashion issue of the weekly, and can be found online here. There is more nudity and may not be safe for work.

I was perusing through some of the posts, and a surprising number of people think Lindsay's boobs are "saggy". Uhhh, she's a C-cup, that's what a C-cup looks like, God Bless 'Em. This literally made my crap day a thousand times better/funnier

Some people are just so used to looking at fake/plastic breasts....they do not realize that any normal woman with size C and larger breasts will have NORMAL and NATURAL sag. IT'S NORMAL and NATURAL...not fake and plastic.

Her breasts are lovely and I am a woman and as straight as an arrow and happily married too!

Also, to the people commenting on her freckles...they are hers and she didn't create them. They make her unique in my opinion. Again, she's beautiful.

And while I like these photos, I think that if she wanted to do a tribute, the Blond Hair and the Eye lashes, diamonds & pearls would have been enough. I would have liked these shots better with her in a waterall, or on a beach, or with any kind of alluring background, instead of that sterile backdrop.

Lindsay, do exploit your Beauty while you can, and if you need to attribute it to someone, then do so, just do it in such a way that you will be remembered for years to come, and Not Marilyn Monroe. She had her time, and this is YOUR time!

Marilyn Monroe's vulnerabiltiy and mirth always showed through her pictures and that's what made her special. Princess Diana had that quality too, that's why people responded to her.

Lindsay is an attractive girl and it's the tribute to Marilyn that really counts. They are obviously very different women.

Truthfully, I'm not a fan of Lindsay. But she is an attractive young woman. And in this day and age she should look better in those pictures.

Lohan will never been Monroe. I guess I just have a weakness for Marilyn Monroe and I find these pictures something of a travesty. It takes a great deal of cheek for anyone to try and imitate someone who has achieved iconic status; something I doubt Lohan will ever gain.

Monroe was a body with a mind marked "damaged goods." I will never understand peoples fixation with her. And many noteworthy people in entertainment have big emotional issues, but where are Monroe's great artistic accomplishments? There is nothing of substance with which to create a travesty. Surely if they did a remake of Some Like It Hot or Seven Year Itch, one wouldn't say "oh they really need to find an actress that equal's Monroe's acting skills or due discredit to those fine works, though finding an actress that good may be tough!"

That said: Monroe was really attractive. Lohan is really attractive. What else is there to say?
