so, he is building his legacy. he gave 700 million dollars in aid to one african country and now they love him. they probably truly do need that money. in the mean time, as reported by bob woodruff just the other night, young men and women who fought in the iraq war and were permanently injured, many severely, have been denied disabilty benefits by the military. so his legacy is to take care of others without taking care of our own, who are owed so much. some legacy.

A snapshot from another classic vignette on the Howdy Dubyah" show. Note the use of innocent Beninese children as props (the gag is that they speak French while the props are in English!) The old gags with U.S. troops as background props and Howdy dressing up in uniform were getting stale.
I can almost hear Buffalo Laura saying "Oh Condi, you silly clown!"

What have you got against lions? Bush would give them a fatal dose of indigestion.

Sorry Africans. We try not let him out much. He speaks loudy, over enunciates, and pats everyone on the head. We just keep telling him he's right so he wont push the button. That's what we do when idiots have power. Again, please accept our apologize. Plus, just lie about abstinence and wear a condom everytime you have sex. Thanks.

No: "Mon chèvre d'animal de compagnie", if at all. Benin includes the ex French colonial territory of Dahomey. They probably didn't understand a word he said. His remarkable resemblance to a suited up Pan troglodytes was probably assumed to be an attempt at humor.

.

The children were very disappointed when the field trip turned out to be another visit with a circus monkey.

Why don't you take an extended vacation George? It might help your psyche being in a positive supporting environment resort where people like you. Take your time...maybe 10 1/2 months.

DollarRequiem is right, did you all read that carefully? $700 million to fight Aids and malaria, but it is really payment to Tanzania for allowing us to built a big shiny new military base north of Dar. And my guess is of the $700 million, $500 million will go into the pockets of the crooked politicians in both countries and the other $200 million will go towards the big pharmaceudical companies who will be in charge of the Aids and malaria part. And what we get in return for our tax dollars are these silly pictures and the false belief we are doing something for the downtrodden in the world. The sad part is that it doesn't matter who is in the whitehouse, this practice of doublespeak will continue. Next up will be a global tax - for the poor, for global warming, for energy, etc. Great in thought but essentially another way to suck the money out of the middle class and keep us enslaved to the elite. Why doesn't the Oppenhiemer family just give Tanzania $700 million? How about the Queen? Haven't these people made enough fortunes off Africa to pay back just a little?
