I don't like Ann Coulter but this is hardly newsworthy. This happened to me at the dentist and at Sephora with my American Express card. Both times I had to call American Express on the spot to yell at them because I had no idea what was going on and there was no reason my card should have been denied. I don't hold a high balance..in fact I keep my balance at a couple of hundred dollars (and I have a very high limit) and I always pay on time. I've had the card for over 10 years. It was not at all my fault but theirs. I was pissed enough the second time to tell them that I just didn't want the card any longer. They begged me to not leave them. I haven't had the problem since. If it every happens again they are history!

Why is this newsworthy? Who cares if her credit card got declined...it happens. While I'm glad that Ann Coulter was embarrassed, I think there's more important things to spend web space and bandwith on than some idiot's card getting declined at a store in a 10 items or less lane.

Why does Huffpro provide free exposure for this literary prostitute? She is predictably irrelevant and simply crude. If this is what Huffpro defines a social commentary, then vandalism should be covered as social activism.

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble, I'm loath to do anything that smacks of taking up for this badly dressed tranny stick whore nutcase, but Publix is NOTORIOUS for their computer bugs. I had my debit card declined a couple of weeks ago with over six grand of available funds in its linked accounts at one of their stores. Apparently when you try and run a debit card as a credit card the Publix system occasionally times out and issues a declined statement instead.

Publix, however, will never admit this is their fault.

While I'd like to think the bitch is going broke I hardly think that's the case - there are too many right-wing nut jobs willing to pay for the particular flavor of crazy that she's peddling.

To recap: 1. Ann is a badly dressed ignorant whore, 2. Publix has an IT Department that sucks and 3. I'm aghast for doing anything that looks like I'm sticking up for this nutcase.
