The Clinton campaign launched a website today called "Delegate Hub" that renews calls for Florida and Michigan delegates to be counted. Remember that the Democratic candidates pledged not to campaign in Michigan and Florida after the DNC refused to recognize those states for moving their primaries up. Hillary won both states and with ten Obama wins to overcome, she is looking for anything to bump up her delegate count.

Below is the

FACT: Florida and Michigan should count, both in the interest of fundamental fairness and honoring the spirit of the Democrats' 50-state strategy.

An important part of the debate over delegates is the role of Florida and Michigan. Hillary Clinton believes that the voices of 600,000 Michigan primary voters and 1.75 million Florida primary voters should be heard at the Democratic convention. [more]

Hillary reminds me of that Smith woman who drowned her two boys with her car so to win the boyfriend. Scary.

It's nothing new - Hillary will do whatever it takes at all cost to get to what she wants. She is the scariest woman on earth.

Florida and Michigain deserve a real delegate selection in which the campaigns have a full chance to participate. The Obama campaign should offer to front 50% of the cost and challenge the Clinton campaign to pay for the other half. If she won't then shut up.

As for the automatic delegates. There isn't much point to having them if all they do is rubber stamp the other votes.

What they should be doing though is asking themselves who has the best chances of beating McCain in the states necessary for a democratic win. And that answer isn't Clinton.

Well, why on earth doesn't anyone take her to task for this and make the clear short hop of logic: If this is how she makes/breaks agreements, what can we expect if she's President?

They're attacking Barack for breaking an agreement on campaign finance *after* he's the nominee (which, last time I checked, he isn't). It's like some sort of weird political autolysis--they're devouring themselves from the inside out over at Clinton Campaign Central. It's worse than sad, it's actually odd...

Normally the Obama camp could make that argument. But in doing so, they bring more attention to the fact that Florida and Michigan don't count. And after 2000, whenever people hear the word disenfranchisement, they get angry. But in this case, it's disenfranchisement that the state created by defying the DNC. The best thing the Obama folks can do is hope this story doesn't get bigger cause if it does, that'll put more pressure on the DNC to seat those delegates.

Here's my question. Who are these idiots that went to vote in an election that everyone knew wasn't going to count?

People just trying to be heard...it's our first chance at it in 7 years, can you blame them for just speaking out because they finally could?

Yay! Let's lie, cheat and steal our way back to the whitehouse! Bush did it, why can't we? This is sooo exciting, we finally have a candidate who is willing to do literally anything to win! Win! Win! Winning is all we care about! Let's snub out their rotten hope. Let's pilfer their committed delegates. Let's call them names and smear their reputation. Let's ignore the rules, because rules are for losers and they are all losers. Integrity and honesty are way overrated and I think we should have nothing to do with such liberal ideas. Afterall, we're Republi....er, never mind.

Let's call them racist when they aren't. Let's smear their reputation. Let's ignore decency or ethics because the black voters don't deserve an honest election, I guess. He treated the voters of SC as tools to win by creating that whole racist storyline.

I thought only Republicans steal elections. The people of Michigan and Florida need to quit whining. Your states moved up their primaries in defiance of the DNC. Breaking the rules has consequences. Remember that before you decide to move up your primaries in 2012.

As for Clinton, this just shows how arrogant she is. In her mind, she's more important than the Democratic party. Michigan shouldn't count since Clinton was the only one on the ballot. Obama and Edwards showed class by taking their names off and honoring the decision of the DNC. But Hillary only cares about winning. If the delegates from either state are seated and she wins the nomination that way, I will vote for McCain.

If you can't win, change the rules in the middle of the game? Hillary Clinton is a model for all our young children. She is losing her political capital more and more everyday, she needs to quit soon to have any respect left.

Just disgusting...Obama wasn't even on the ballot in Mi. Shows you the content of the character of the Clintons.

A total smear campaign...new politics?, change?...looks like the same old Chicago style smear politics to me....and did you ever notice Obama got rid of all his opponents in one run, the next had a scandal 'suddenly' come out, now he plays the racist card. Doesn't look like a good change to me. Says a lot about Obama's character though, or should I say lack thereof.
And Michelle is a piece of work too. She says she is just now really proud of her country for the first time. That she may not vote dem if Hillary is the nom. That 'she' won't let Obama run again. Now imagine Bill saying the same things. Might vote repug, never been really proud.....the scandal would be huge, but no one even bats an eye when she says these devisive things. Double standards.
