Hillary Clinton ended January with $7.6 million in debt - not including the $5 million personal loan she gave to her campaign in the run-up to the critical Super Tuesday elections, according to financial reports released Wednesday.

In contrast, Democratic rival Barack Obama's campaign's finances continued to be robust.

She's finished. She can't raise money when everyone knows that donations are going toward squaring a debt rather than competing in future primaries. Someone please tell her that it was over after Wisconsin and put her out of her misery.

She is incapable of managing her own campaign finances yet she thinks she can balance the US budget?

Ya, thats the ticket, she'll make millions.
Why hasn't Mark Penn thought of this?
He is so full of good ideas.

HRC's campaign is winning--hands down--in one area: Excuses. They have an excuse for losing caucus states; primary states; management turnover; cash shortages; biased media coverage; etc...Nothing is their fault. Their opponent is all talk; a hope monger. He's duping a gullible electorate. It's even his fault the other candidates had to dropout.

I've never heard Obama make excuse why he lost a state; he simply gives his opponent for running a better campaign and moves on. I have no idea how anyone could think/believe that HRC is the superior leader.

CLINTON SUFFERS FROM POOR CAMPAIGN ORGANIZATION, PUBLIC RELATIONS, ADVISERS, MESSAGE, PLANNING, AND BAD PUBLIC PERCEPTON

By Hermie Rotea

The unthinkable has happened.

Senator Hillary Clinton of New York, once the undisputed frontrunner in the Democratic Party presidential nomination race whose victory was considered inevitable, is now the underdog with a $7.6 million in campaign fund debt.

In contrast, Senator Barack Obama of Illinois is now the new frontrunner, having won 10 straight state primaries and caucuses with amazingly surplus campaign funds. Which shows that he is everything that Hillary is not.

What happened?

Clinton said that her campaign will be a wrap or victory after the February 5 Super Tuesday when she won the California and New York primaries with the largest number of convention delegates.

The once vaunted Clinton campaign organization that had catapulted her husband Bill Clinton to the presidency twice, did not plan beyond February 5. They merely expected a political coronation.

As a result, they committed the same mistake that former Mayor Rudy Gulliani of New York had committed when he bypassed other state primaries and caucuses and instead concentraated on winning big in Florida in his own failed Republican presidential bid.

Clinton campaign also suffers from poor public relations. Some supporters who donated for her candidacy with cash, observations and advices, were not even thanked -- not a note, not an email, nothing. Paging campaign manager Maggie Williams!

Senator Clinton is also short of poor advisers, poor message, poor planning, and bad public perception. In the battle of campaign speeches, Senator Obama has outsmarted her although her experience and qualification are more superior than his inspirational oratory of change and hope but short in subtance and details.

Her surrogates, particularly former President Clinton, have not really helped. The once No. 1 asset of the Hillary campaign reduced himself to an attack dog whose words, although historically true, were easily misunderstood, and tended to promote his own legacy than the Hillary candidacy.

Words do count. In politics, say the wrong words and you are dead.

Who wants to wager that Mark Penn gets paid before outside vendors, especially the printers and caterers?

I wonder how much will get written off by "the campaign" and how many small businesses won't see a dime of the money they're owed -- not even enough to cover the costs of goods or services provided.

Fiscally responsible? Cares about the common man and woman -- all of us plebeians?

How else can i add to my never to be released untold millions? Hmmm, let me count the ways. Loan myself 5 million, charge interest and let my core supporters of the great mass of blue and unwashed reimburse me.

She's a pretty good futures trader, she can probably make that up in the options market by close of business today.

Maybe Clinton should just 'pull up the tent' and concede early. If her 35 years of experience didn't prevent her from her campaign finance ship running aground, how will it help this country in its most dangerous times?

Hillary please pull out now, and help the Obama campaign to take back this great country.

A big part of being ready on day one and organizational skills for being the commander in chief is your executive ability to run a successful campaign both financially and in delegate count, Hillary has failed this simple test on both counts.

She has surrounded herself with mean-spirited, arrogant Karl Rove type advisers and the only thing she seems to be successful at is slash and burn tactics and dividing the Democratic Party.

Unfortunately this classy intelligent lady is becoming a deceitful sore loser and her strategy of slandering her opponent is dishonest, exaggerated and despicable.

Any hope of salvaging her political reputation is fading fast on the battlefields of Iraq.

The problem for Hillary about revelations like this is that it discourages contributors. Who'd want to give money to a campaign that is going to use your money to pay Hillary back her $5 mil plus interest?

Why didn't these people plan for campaigning beyond Super Tuesday. When I was 10 years old my parents started telling me to always have Plan A and Plan B. Why didn't these highly paid "experts" know the same thing?

This is due to the candidate's arrogance, egocentrism and sense of entitlement.
