SurveyUSA:

SurveyUSA has tracked the job approval rating of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton 35 times between May 2005 and February 2008. At no time had the percentage of New York adults approving of her job performance dipped below 60%; at no point had the percentage disapproving risen above 38%.

Today, however, Senator Clinton has a 56% approval rating and a 42% disapproval rating. Subtracting disapproval from approval yields a Net Job Approval of Plus 14 -- higher, to be sure, than that of many other U.S. Senators tracked regularly by SurveyUSA, and right in line with New York's senior Senator, Chuck Schumer, who is at Plus 15 today -- but still the lowest we've seen for Senator Clinton, who was at Plus 22 last month, and at Plus 37 in October.

I'm a NYer and I must say I was not happy to have carpetbagger Hillary come in our state and displace the next in line for a Senate seat, Rep. Nita Lowry. That said, at least she's a Democrat, albeit a neocon one with a rather paltry record of accomplishment. I'm thinking after her performance in this nomination process that Rudy or Bloomberg will knock her out of her Senate seat next election.

Hill, darling, it's time to withdrawal for the good of the party, and the nation. It's over.

Compared to Senators that have represented NYS in the past, we are damn lucky to have HRC in the Senate. A least she can find western NYS without a map. She is the first Senator other than Schumer to know there is life above New York City.

Why aren't we hearing anything about those zero votes for Obama in 80 districts?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 03:41 PM on 02/21/2008

Because it's boring...what is it with you people and vote counting and stuff?

We all agree that Hillary's a poopyhead, Obama has already won and that it's time to move on to juicier fare.

Think Madonna will do a fundraiser for Obama and french-kiss Michelle and Oprah at the same time?

Nevermind. I just found a link to Bloomberg calling the NY zero votes for Obama FRAUD.

I wonder if the Clintons will finally understand that negative campaigning is backfiring not just on her but will adversely affect many of her Superdelegates who are the electeds, particularly CBC members.

She and Bill Swiftboated themselves in South Carolina with their racial tactics and then they Guilianed themselves after Super Tues because they had no ground game or money.

She ran as a pseudo-incumbent without any attempts to get field operations in place because she assumed that memories of Bill would engender enough good will for core Dems to support her. Arrogant and incompetent - it was hers to lose and she has lost it.

They won't understand, ever...and you know why? Because they're poopyheads. I just had to finally get that out.

I had to write a poem about this one, wanna here it? here it go:

...have another sip of the wine.

Then wake up in the morning and blame and whine.

by this time on the ides of march
i'd bet you'd say your toung is parched

so have another sip of that wine
then blame the press or cry and whine

it will not work cause your exposed
you'd win, if only there were more states i supose

but 50 is it so i guess its our fault
you were the hare in the race but slep and got caught

so have another drink of the wine
and wake up in the morning and blame and whine

The writing is on the wall for Hillary. If she continues her negative attacks on Obama it will only hurt her in her attempt at Senate relection time.
I suggest to her that now would be a good time to make a graceful exit.

That'd be great. Then the Senate wouldn't have to think of excuses why their working majority doesn't.

Actually, it'd be Das gute (no N) and Du gaktest.

Like the artful combination of alliteration, assonance and onamatopoeia, though.

If you click on the actual article, it concludes:

"In November head-to-head matchups, in research conducted this past weekend, prior to word of the New York Times story on John McCain, Barack Obama significantly outpolled Clinton in her home state:" His number is +21.

I believe this means that, as of this past weekend, Obama's net approval rating in New York is +21 compared to Hillary's +14. Yes?

No. Obama is up 21 on McCain in NY. Hillary is up 14 on McCain in NY.

Hillary's approval rating will drop a lot more if she doesn't leave this campaign soon
