Olbermann Timeline: How The Bush Administration Exploited Terror Threats For Political Gain, 2002-2008

In case you missed it, on Thursday night's "Countdown" Keith Olbermann presented an impressively detailed timeline he called "The Nexus of Politics and Terror," in which he chronicled the Bush administration's exploitation of terror threats for political gain. Olbermann's exhaustive account weaves from each revelation of an intelligence failure or a Democratic political victory to an almost immediate orange alert or "new threat" from al Qaeda.

The clip is 17 minutes long and entirely worth it, and its conclusion — "what we were told about terror, and not told, for security reasons, has overlapped considerably with what we were told about terror, and not told, for political reasons" — is a dutiful summary of the past six years.

After carefully examining the Bali bombings I am also lead to question the official version and suspect a false flag op.
I also examined a review of the black box data recording of the plane that hit the pentagon that makes that story not seem quite right, either.
After reviewing the USS Liberty attack by Israel that was apparently arranged by the US gov as part of a larger program that involved LBJ amongst others, I have to say that I am satisfied that our own government can and has attacked Americans and others for the sole purpose of manipulating public opinion to ends that are not so obvious.
All of that is very consistent with the "cry wolf" manipulations that Olbermann is describing in his commentary. Very bad stuff, very bad.

I agree with you that our government, especially (but not exclusively) when controlled by Republicans, has intentionally killed Americans. Of course there is even more abundant evidence that they kill foreigners as well. With this in mind, it becomes obvious that there is almost nothing that those in power will not do to keep that power. Rigging elections, habitually lying about phony terror alerts, stacking the Justice Department, courts, Federal agencies, state and local legislatures and offices with compliant hacks, smearing political opponents with fabricated charges, jailing innocent people to give the appearance of combatting terrorism or drug trafficking, etc, etc. All of these things are child's play to these people when compared to the murders they commit. Why is it so hard for Americans to face the reality of these things? How much do they have to see? How many times do the same tactics have to be used, and then exposed, before they will notice the pattern?

They really don't believe in thier professed faith, deep down inside they are afraid that their faith might not be what they say it is. It is so sad, they give up so much simple enjoyment so they can adhere to the details of their beliefs.
