Clinton Mocks Obama
Hillary Clinton's campaign is on its last legs after suffering a string of defeats to her rival Barack Obama. Clinton made the decision to go negative in an effort to halt Obama's rising momentum. On Saturday, she also accused Obama's campaign of using negative tactics "right out of Karl Rove's playbook" in mailers that misrepresent her positions on NAFTA and healthcare. Obama called the mailings accurate.

Today, Clinton was at a campaign rally in Providence, Rhode Island, and she mocked Obama and his message of hope and change in a very theatrical, over-the-top manner.

Watch the video from CNN below, and tell HuffPost whether you think Clinton's line of attack against Obama will help or hurt her campaign:

Whats the difference between Hillarys show and Chavess' show at the United Nations General assembly where he called Bush the devil in the presense of distinguished presidents

The accuracy of the accusation.

I see! It's ok for Obama to be disrespectful and not be held accountable for it, but no one else.

Open your eyes and remember what you said. It will be something for you to think about if Obama gets elected.

Hillary is flat out desperate, she is just looking mean spirited and that will turn off more voters, she s going down in flames...latest polls have Obama now in the lead in TX and closing in OH,she had a 20 plus lead in OH last week,it s now down to 11 points,I bet ya anything ya want that at week s end that ll be down to 4-5 points after polls compiled this week take into account her strange mocking rants, believe me,she didn t do herself any good with that tantrum...after she gets swept next Tuesday,DNC bigwigs should demand that she pull out,she s just embarrasing herself and the party.

Let's wait for the voter's. You can't depend on the polls.

Would you demand that Obama pull out of the race if Hillary was ahead. Grow up!

Obama would have already been ridden out on a rial if he's lost 11 in a row.

Hillary my dear we are hearing "your voice" and its is OFFENSIVE to anyone with an ounce of intelligence to believe that this is the voice of someone who is ready on day one - as you say time after time ad nauseum - to halt America's downward spiral. Obama's soaring rhetoric at least inspires while your own "voice" unclothes you as a scheming, grasping, venal politician of the last century.

globe scout wrote; ”Regarding his 130 "Present" votes out of 4,000, please don't be tired of citizens like us pouring through his record “

You poured through Obama’s record and you missed this or pretend you did: Illinois legislators commonly vote present on a bill when they are in favor of the intent of the bill but feel that the bill as it stands is poorly written. So on those “present” votes, Obama had been asked by Planned Parenthood to vote present indicating that when the bill was properly written he would vote yes. Planned Parenthood gives Obama a 100% approval rating in spite of what Hillary tried to claim in a flier she put out in New Hampshire misrepresenting the reason he voted “present”.

I got the biggest kick out of this! After seeing Sen. Obama at a rally last month, a friend of mine asked his college aged pals what they got out of it...they were all giddy and said,"yeah, you know, things are gonna be great". Well, duh--ya think?

Well, it's nice to know there's some diversity of thought on the HuffPo! Cripes.

Girlfriend has worked for decades to get this nomination and now this sweet talking man is about to sweep it from her? I feel bad for her, honestly. Some of his speeches ARE just a bunch of hot air.

"worked for decades to get this nomination" Ya mean like during the eight years she was co-president of the US and now wants a couple more terms--for a total of sixteen years in the White House -- this time as top dog co-president?

If his speeches are just hot air, why was she telling him it was an honor just to be sharing the same stage with him? That was more Obamagirl than Commander-in-chief. Then the schizophrenic mood swings of the next 48 hours--meet me in Ohio--the nasty sarcasm unable to veil the jealousy over the rallies. I used to think she would be ready on day one. (I was worried about day, oh, say, 31) Seems like it's temperament and judgment, not so much issues. Look, Hillary, we like both these plans for health care. We think both of you care about the country. We can't vote for you because you're acting mean and crazy. And there's Obama, talking about chugging 3 or 4 mountain dews and feeling jittery in class and I'm thinking ,"Is this what a press conference would be like with him? I could listen to him all day. No, no, please , don't stop...when did I ever feel like that at a pres. press conference?

hehe -- yeah, i caught that, too. "enough with the big rallies"...(not heard)"...because i can't get the same impressive crowds." "enough with the speeches..." (not heard)"...because i'm not as eloquent as you..."
she came across to me as jealous at his appeal and mad because he called her out on her previous and very factually accurate approval of nafta. plus, she didn't see all that stable.

I came to see a politician speak, became part of a movement that swept the country and threw out the corrupt republicans, and following a dynamic and charismatic leader who talked to nations, we started practicing what we preached and world became a little more peaceful.

Do not write so many hopes and dreams or you will be call delusional. Let me try: I hope and believe that WORDS INSPIRE, A Decent man called Obama will lead the Democratic Party to victory. We will gain 61 seats in the senate, and under president Obama's inspirational leadership, and Hillary Clinton's solutions for our problems, we will once again be a great nation where we take care of the sick, educate our kids and everyone will have a shot at the American dream.

she has very little room left to salvage teh VP spot. In truth she would bring allot of baggage as VP and at best would be a wash as far as asset/liability to an Obama Presidential general election bid.

Summary of Senator Obama‘s goals for the parrots of empty words rhetoric:
Giving Tax breaks to companies who create jobs in America.
Increasing teachers pay so it attracts more intelligent worthy individuals.
Expand the congressional health care plan to all and creating a big enough pool to make it possible for all people to buy those with no exclusion for preexisting conditions, and making healthcare portable.
Making health care portable so we are not tied to our jobs enabling us to realize our potential in a true capitalistic way.
Try to negotiate with world instead of trying to bully the world and hence making even the Europeans call us the biggest threat to world peace.
Provide consensus building leadership, so that the Russians, Chinese and Indians do not feel compelled to form an alliance to protect the rest of the world from American tyranny.
Try to make college more affordable.
Inspire us to serve our country and rise above our selfish unfulfilling motives of making money.
Try to decrease the influence of Lobbyist (idealistic goal and probably unattainable as Senator Obama explains in his book with brutal honesty).
Try to bridge the gap between Democrats and Republicans by emphasizing our common themes rather than dwelling on the differences.
Try to keep Medicare and social security solvent unlike the republicans who want to eliminate them ( under the slogans of privatization, budget busting, and have deliberately got us there by busting the budget, warmongering, overspending on defense so people would have no choice but to voluntarily accept the cuts )
Try to prevent the country from becoming the slaves of faceless corporations, serving ever more powerful billionaires.
Try to bring together and start a dialogue between the religious and secular elements of society ( not by giving in and start praying more but by conveying that it was the Baptists on whose insistence the separation of Church and State was added in the constitution )

Redefine Liberalism as a noble desire to work towards a common ideal of taking care of each other as demonstrated by social security, police service, fire departments, Medicare, unemployment insurance, retraining programs, and adding means to make college more affordable, working towards eliminating homelessness ( not a minority only issue anymore but middle class issue now that millions loose homes, veterans with PTSD and brain injuries homeless ), reinstating a new GI bill, funding the VA hospitals better . To the cynics I say YES WE CAN just like we will be able to afford another 100 years of war if McCain in elected.

She reminds me of a mean mother who is chastising a child for embarrassing her in public. She seem to be saying, "Oh, all you stupid, stupid people--can't you see how foolish you are?" Well, let's hope that anyone who is undecided will be chilled by her sad disply. She's becoming more a very sore loser.

Hillary's campaign just proves how cynical we have gotten in America. People in the Hillary and McCrazy camps are so cynical that they cannot run on a platform of hope and unity. America was not created by cynics who said we could not "create a more perfect union". It was created by optimists that wanted to create a country that was tolerant and free. Thanks the conservative elements in America this true promise has not been even close to reality until the relatively near future in the 60's. But now one cannot argue that the country has progressed very slowly since then. Why? Because too many people think a message of hope is some kind of cult tactic to fool the naive. Well millions of Obama supporters want to prove that hope is not a bad thing and that we can progress as a nation. We are tired of the culture wars between the likes of Hillary and McCrazy.

I actually feel sorry for people who have such a negative attitude towards the ideas of hope, unity and inspiration. Perhaps it's time to up the anti depressant medication.

Let's vote for Hillary. Let's accept the same broken system run by the same corporate oligarchy infusing the same massive quanities of corrupting cash to the same politicians propped up by the same lobbyist establishment hacks.

Nothing happens if you don't put forth ideas and words. They're politicians; their words carry meaning. What do you think the POTUS does, if not inspire his or her underlings to actually do the work?

Wake up. It's over for the Clintons. Hillary = No We Can't.

Schoolyard bullying, all it is. Make fun of your opponents strengths by portraying them as weaknesses. the Clinton machine in full swing. "I gots lots of class y'all!" Cynicism is rampant in this country and one person dares to challenge the status quo-remember when America was the seat of innovation and progress? Now you get to see it on the History channel.
Yet it is amazing to me how we've pidgeonholed Obama and Hillary. These are fallible human beings after all and go much deeper than the media likes to give in their .txt'ed version of reality, cut down to 10 second soundbites and throwbacks to supposed "experts" ( who are just people who can't find real jobs and hover around the beltway like vultures.
