Jennifer Garner And Laura Linney Accosted By Gary Busey On Red Carpet

The funniest moment of the E! red carpet was when a crazy Gary Busey accosted Jennifer Garner and Laura Linney as they spoke with Ryan Seacrest. Watch Jennifer's face!

Garner, Linney and Seacrest could have been more gracious or pretended to be; they are actors, after all. As they are in the business it should be no secret to them that Busey is a tad off.

Why IS the Academy fawning over Jennifer Garner? Presenting, front row seats, reaction shots.... What passes for movie stars today is perplexing indeed.

Gary Busy has done more outstanding projects than Jennifer What's Her Name will ever have the priviledge of doing.

Those of you bashing Garner and Linney really should get over your petty jealousies.

A slob and stranger (But great actor), comes up to you and kisses you on the neck, you'd all cringe like Garner did.

Just because neither one of them would give you the time of day...

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 01:17 AM on 02/27/2008

Yeah, but the lucky bastard pulled-off something I'd like to do.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 01:12 AM on 02/27/2008

garner's an untalented twat. exactly what's she ever done that's any good at ALL? some hack tv show. she needs to eat a goddamn sandwich.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 12:24 AM on 02/27/2008

Why, that no-talent two-bit nag couldn't act her way out of a HAM SANDWICH! She nearly RUINED "the Kingdom" for me. What was she doing at the Oscars, anyway? Because I'll tell you one thing, it certainly wasn't to get an Oscar.

i'm amazed at the vitriol shown to jennifer garner and laura linney on this post. unreal. i think busey is funny, usually. but he was completely out of line, grabbing a woman he's never met and kissing her on the neck???? way, way out of bounds. if garner's husband had been there, busey never would have done that. it was attention grabbing on busey's part. lame. i think those women handled it with total class and humor. what a mysogenistic post and discussion. it's gross.

Classic Busey. Ol' graveyard teeth. Hung out at KMOD and Deraleo back in Tulsa, didn't he? Besides Busey being himself and her reaction to him, I still adore Laura Linney.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 06:53 PM on 02/26/2008

What a prize interview Seacup scored in that Juniper Goshner! What was doing there, anyway? If only the video had been of Gary Busey f8cking Goshner instead of Affleck f8cking Jimmy. Busey's got real chops!

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 05:28 PM on 02/26/2008

I agree - Ryan was rude. Garner apparently isn't such a nice girl after all.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 06:05 PM on 02/26/2008

she reminded me of a mean girl in high school, making fun of the dorky guy. I thought she was rude and condescending, and made a mountain out of a molehill. She should be embarrassed, not him.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 09:12 PM on 02/26/2008

How idiotic.

The next time a virtual stranger kisses you on the friggin' neck, enjoy it.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 01:14 AM on 02/27/2008

yes, let's see there were literally thousands of other people around hugging and kissing each other in greeting. She could have politely pulled back, but they started talking about security, whispering together and mocking him with their eye rolls and whispers. He was way to forward, but she was way to shrill! Again the mean girl in high school making fun of the dork!

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 06:52 AM on 02/27/2008

Give me a fucking break.
If anyone looks dumb to me its Garner.
Her response to Busey was fake as shit.
I live in Hollywood and see this bullshit all the time.
I swear to you all, if those cameras were not on her, she would have been laughing, joking and kissing his ass. What a phoney.

Oh your so scared of Gary, he was sooooo out of control for saying hello to you.....oh my god where's Ben?????

Fake ass bitch.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 05:22 PM on 02/26/2008

Gary Busey is and will always be a bigger star than that petty bitch Garner and her talentless husband will EVER BE!

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 04:47 PM on 02/26/2008

Busey was over the line his hugs, which were obviously invasive and he had no bizniz harassing either of the women in the manner in which he did via the over the top hugs (not something you do with women in their finery all dressed to the nines and he lacked decorum in allowing profession courtesy and distance to all three his manners were disgracefully absent.

I am surprised Jennifer didn't lay him out on the carpet w/ a swift jab to the jaw. She was tolerant of the bombastic head injured fellow actor.

Lots of women would love to get a hug from Mr. Busey.

Isn't "ACCOST" slightly exxaggerated??

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 03:46 AM on 02/26/2008

you leave home, you risk being hugged by gary busey! lol! i think it's ironic. people should be hugging Gary. he is never happy for long.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 09:35 PM on 02/26/2008

I usually like Garner, but I thought she came across looking petty and mean. They acted like they were way to good to talk to anyone outside a certain circle. It was so obvious that Linny and Garner were whispering about him like he wasn't even there. It was an unattractive moment for them both!

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 06:37 AM on 02/26/2008

I know Busey isn't the most stable guy on Earth, but watching this clip I can't see anything but the snobbery and elitism of a couple of hyper-conformist tools of mainstream media and advertising.

What does Busey do? Try to pal around with Seacrest, congratulate Linney, and introduce himself to Garner? They are acting like 15 year olds in the "in crowd" that are experiencing the horror of being talked to by the fat kid. They actually feel nervous and discuss security at one point.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 02:38 AM on 02/26/2008

You are so right. Busey did not accost her at all! Watching the video, he did not appear to have even noticed Garner much, till Seacrest introduces her to him. At which point, he turns to Garner, gives her a hug and kiss and leaves. And Garner acts so darned disgusted and horrified! Gary was so good as Buddy Holly. The poor guy had a major accident. And these two nits are laughing at him. It is really very sad.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 01:45 PM on 02/26/2008

I agree. Much ado about nothing.

Busey's done a lot of good work. I loved "Carny." Mostly I remember him as Teddy Jack Eddy on "Dr. Mazeppa Pompazoidi's Uncanny Film Festival and Camp Meeting."

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 01:56 PM on 02/26/2008

I love Busey. He's a beautiful train wreck. He should be Britney Spears' next manager. His reality show was one of the funniest things I ever saw on television.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 11:34 PM on 02/25/2008

give em a break, the guy did bump his head really really hard. Sorta like a lot of peeps around here. LOL

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 11:18 PM on 02/25/2008

He was nuts long, long before he bumped his head. In fact, I think he was born with a bumped head.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 01:58 PM on 02/26/2008

I don't see what the big deal is? If anything Garner and Seacrest look like snobby pricks.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 11:12 PM on 02/25/2008

Don't look like, they ACTUALLY are.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 08:52 AM on 02/26/2008

exactly...nobody looked like they were having any fun all damn night....what's the point, then?

tilda rocked it, & the La Vie En Rose lady also...but we americans had sticks up our asses, all...

chill, Jennifer, (and freakishly condescending Ryan) you all won't break...if u did, you'd be happier...xx

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 11:53 PM on 02/25/2008

good poste...I have to agree.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 02:33 PM on 02/26/2008

His date was his lawyer.
He was drunk as usual.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 10:48 PM on 02/25/2008

I feel bad for all of them, including him and especially his date, although she looked un-bothered by it.

I wish an actor like him, who was the "it" man many years ago when he himself won an Oscar would act more grounded and self-possessed.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 10:19 PM on 02/25/2008

Gary won an oscar? For what and when?

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 02:34 PM on 02/26/2008

Gary Busey got an Oscar nom for "The Buddy Holley Story" and that's why he's running around the red carpet. He's got invitations for life.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 09:33 PM on 02/25/2008

He didn't accost anybody he was drunk and
clumsy at worst.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 08:39 PM on 02/25/2008

That was weird. I felt uncomfortable for her.

Nonetheless, do you think she really didn't know who he was? That would be almost as weird.

Ok, maybe not almost as weird, but... strange nonetheless.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 07:58 PM on 02/25/2008

How can anyone get made at the actor who painted Johnny Drama?
That being said, who gives a sh%t about the Oscar parties, red carpets, what/who is wearing, or the freaking Oscars themselves. Award shows by the industry, for the industry are the biggest excersice in self masturbation.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 07:51 PM on 02/25/2008

Way back in 74, I worked at an am/fm radio station in Tulsa and every Saturday night Gary Busey and Gailard Sartain did a really wacky, imaginative show... it was mostly live, but sometimes taped. I got to know them fairly well, and yeah they were hell raisers, but what talent...And you knew that they (Gary especially) were destined for big things.

He, actually they, had more talent and ambition then than most young Hollywood has now a days. And neither of them have Hollywood looks, but they survived and thrived in LA all these decades. Humm, I wonder if some other careers will last as long?

Gary deserves a little respect and so does Jen... he should have waited till Seacrest was done with his break, but knowing GB, he was a little hyper... OK, stoned!
