Clinton Tries Out Populist Approach

Blasting "companies shamelessly turning their backs on Americans" by shipping jobs overseas and railing that "it is wrong that somebody who makes $50 million on Wall Street pays a lower tax rate than somebody who makes $50,000 a year," Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton increasingly sounds like one of her old Democratic rivals, former senator John Edwards of North Carolina.

Eager to recapture the white, working-class voters who favored her in some of the early primaries but who have since shifted to Sen. Barack Obama, Clinton traded her usual wonky style this weekend for a fiery, populist tone in speeches in Ohio, Texas and Rhode Island.

Hillary has outsmart herself. As an astute political animal, she misread the political scene. Her problem started at the beginning of her campaign. She ran as "one of the boys" instead of the first female president. Her position would have automatically put her in the drivers seat for change. A female outlook on the American political scene would be big change. She would have reduced Obama to the "black" candidate. Instead, Barack grabs the "change" mantle and the momentum. Now Hillary is locked in her traditional campaign and must attack "hope and change". It's over for Hillary.

The larest difference between Barack and Hillary can be heard in every speech they give. The proof of it all if you have listened to either one is that Hillary has it keyed into "I" and she makes it sound like anyone who would vote for Barack is a mind control idiot who cannot think for themselves. Odd since majority of Baracks supporters are college educated. When Barack speaks it is always "WE" and he always will say he has respect for Hillary. He and his campaign only respond with negatives when they are forced to respond to an attack. He generally expalins his point while she doesn't she rants he talks. I have watched this dynamics for a while and I like what Barack says and I want to be part of the "WE" of the "YES WE CAN". I am turned off when someone tells me all they are going to do for/to me. I want to be proud again of this country and I relate very well to what feelings Michelle expressed. WHen was the last time you felt our country was respected? When was the last time you felt your voice/vote meant something? When was the last time you felt the military was not being used but utlized? Do you feel safer now than after 9/11?

The TRUTH ABOUT OBAMA.

Obama Was NEVER a Constitutional Law Professor:

Obama Made This False Claim In His 2004 Senate Race. "Several direct-mail pieces issued for Obama's primary [Senate] campaign said he was a law professor at the University of Chicago. He is not. He is a senior lecturer (now on leave) at the school.... From all appearances on the U. of C. law school's website (which now lists Obama as a "senior lecturer" on leave), the status of "lecturer" is like an adjunct or part-time appointment.

He served in the IL State Senate from 1996-2004 - NOT TRUE. After LOSING his bid for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2000, he announced his campaign for U.S. Senate in 2003. (His resume lists nothing for the years 2000-2002)

Obama Never Takes Money From Lobbyists. A Lie.

Obama splits hairs by saying he doesn't take money from FEDERAL Lobbyists. But the Illinois Democrat"s policy of shunning money from lobbyists registered to do business on Capitol Hill does not extend to lawyers whose partners lobby there.

For example, partners from the Atlanta-based law firm Alston & Bird donated $33,000 to Obama in the first 90 days of 2007.

Alston & Bird has a large lobbying division in Washington. It billed its clients nearly $3.9 million in 2006, ranking 35th among Washington lobbyists. Alston boasts on its website that it offers clients "unique experience with how policy is made" and knows "the people who make it: government and agency officials; members of Congress and their staff."

Obama has no ties to lobbyists. ANOTHER LIE.

"Three political aides on Sen. Barack Obama"s (D-Ill.) payroll were registered lobbyists for dozens of corporations, including Wal-Mart, British Petroleum and Lockheed Martin, while they received payments from his campaign, according to public documents."

Here's something you could throw at Obama...."good luck with the nomination, Obama. You beat me fair and square. I'll back you 100% and do anything I can to help you get elected President."

Only a fool would listen to an unstable village idiot wearing a Big Bird outfit!

A profit hungry warmonger in the Bush mould!
An elephant disguised as a donkey!

Her mission, division, for a house divided against itself cannot stand!
Mission, almost accompolished!

I wish adopting Edwards' tone, allowed her to duplicate his quick exit.

Bring on McCain! Hillary's desperate plea for attention is embarrassing and distracting.

Hillary's in the race!!!! next bid

FLOWERS PUTTING CLINTON PHONE CONVERSATIONS UP FOR BID

Gennifer Flowers is putting the tapes of her recorded conversations with Bill Clinton during their 12-year affair on the auction block, Vegas Confidential learned Monday.

Flowers, who came forward during Clinton's 1992 Presidential election campaign with details of the relationship, said she decided to part with the tapes after renewed interest surfaced. She was offered $5 million by a Japanese collector in the 1990s, she said.

Asked about the timing of her announcement coming out as Hillary Clinton continues to slide in her presidential bid, "I don"t need to hurt Hillary. She is doing a fine job of that herself, along with her idiot husband. Karma is an interesting thing. If these two don"t get elected, and they are a team, it will be karma coming back to visit them. It's about time."

When President Clinton denied the relationship during his presidential campaign, Flowers called a press conference played what she said were secretly recorded phone conversations.

"These are the tapes I brought forth as proof," she said.

Flowers, who lives in Las Vegas, sued Hillary Rodham Clinton, George Stephanopoulos, James Carville and other, accusing them of orchestrating a campaign to discredit her. Carville and Stephanopolous claimed Flowers doctored the tapes.

It's amusing that the headline says Clinton is adopting Edward's style.

Both Obama and Clinton immediately stepped up their Edwards style way back prior to the Iowa caucuses, as his anti-corporate rhetoric was leading to a rise in his polling numbers.

All of a sudden they were all talking corporate reform.

But Obama's the one who wants to make sure they have 'a seat at the table.

I bet there are a heck of a lot of women in NH that regret their last minute sympathy vote for the Hillster. Just think what they could have spared the nation.

Obama is not running on his record. He's running against Clinton's record.

Hillary should do the same - poke holes in all his claims of experience like:

THE REAL STORY ABOUT OBAMA'S
WORK AS AN ACTIVIST FROM A WOMAN
WHO ACTUALLY WORKED WITH HIM.

Hazel Johnson, who has lived at Altgeld Gardens since 1962, said ... she worked on the asbestos issue at the same time as Obama.

Johnson said she doesn't know of any other work that Obama did at Altgeld Gardens aside from helping on asbestos.

"I like him, he is a nice, young intelligent man, but some of the things he said are not true," said Johnson. "I was organizing, doing that work before Obama even came to the Gardens."

Obama's best-selling memoir, "Dreams From My Father," devotes more than 100 pages to his experiences at Altgeld and nearby neighborhoods, but he filled the book with pseudonyms and vividly re-created scenes.

Even his backers say Obama's achievements were modest ...

For all its impact on Obama, Altgeld Gardens today seems far from the kind of success story politicians like to tout.

Dozens of buildings are boarded up, with fences surrounding much of the property. The roads are a potholed mess. Blinking lights illuminate a series of towers where police have mounted cameras.

Instead of trying to find a the "right message" to stop Obama why doesn't she just stick to the issues. She really is looking more desperate by the day. I give Obama allot of credit he's turned the old dirty campaign strategy on it's head.

That fat political whore Hillary promised Edwards that she would ape his populist meme to get his endorsement. There are, as of this date, four Hillarys, each one more venal and repugnant than the others.
