...Clinton blamed her woes in part on unfair press coverage but said she believed Obama had come under increased media scrutiny in recent days. She urged the group to watch the latest episode of "Saturday Night Live," which featured a skit mocking last Thursday's CNN debate as little more than a love fest for Obama.

"People are starting to say, 'Hey, you know, we've got two candidates. We've been a little more focused on one than the other in terms of asking hard questions. Let's start looking at both of them. The voters of this country deserve to have a real election,'" she said.

Media bias? Why has HRC not been asked to explain the reason that she refuses to release her tax info or the minutes of her healthcare meetings. Also, where's the media been on the so-called "thirty-five years of experience?" I want to know what she did when Bill was AG of Ark., what she did as FL of Ark., and what she did as FLOTUS. The media have taken her narrative as fact. Ergo, the bias cannot be that strongly in favor of Obama.

Hillary Clinton has the luxury to play gotcha, unproductive games. Bad Judgments are her Hallmark.
But in her dark negative attempts, she could be helping Obama against McCain in the General Election. The Democratic Party needs to win or we are all screwed.

The General Election is in November and look at what's happening in February, all these Obama questions, which is excellent at BLUNTING the Republican's and Rove's dark campaigning.

Better Hillary hits Obama now that McCain doing it in October. As Andrew Sullivan writes - "the AP does a story on Obama's "patriotism" question and CNN delivers a Clintonian push-poll. I'm actually fine with this. The only way to overcome this kind of politics is to endure and transcend it. If we want to say "goodbye to all that," you need to say hello to it for a while."
http://andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com/

But on the other hand, Hillary is like a Queen "how dare you question meeee, children!!" Keep up the negative campaigning Hillary, Obama needs you in this race until July at the latest.

What's funny is last year Saturday Night Live did a skit about how the media had already decided that Hillary was the next president.

What's funny is you probably know more about SNL skits and Idol contestants than you do about any of the candidates but your vote will still count.....

What's funny is your candidate is losing so you have to personally attack others.

To all those sincere Dem out there: Neither candidate that the corporatist MSM allowed to debate is perfect. Both must seem reasonably corporatist, both must seem likely to continue the war, or the corporations won't let them play. Both must play politics. As every election I have ever experienced, we end up voting for the perceived lesser of two evils.

I WILL VOTE FOR THE DEMOCRATS PICK.

Beware the provocateurs, both covert rethug and deranged dem. You can tell, because they threaten to vote for Brain Dead McCain or Neverland Nader.

"I would not even trust her to be dog catcher."

As a registered republican supporting Sen. Clinton, I have said I would not be voting for Sen. Obama in a McCain/Obama contest.

However, I will have to give some thought as to whether I would vote for him to be "dog catcher."

Will you trust John McCain to end the Iraq war and not stretch our military any further by starting a new one with Iran? Will you trust him to repair the damage to our economy? To make SCOTUS appointments that won't push this country irreversibly to the right?
I sure as hell wouldn't.

>I WILL VOTE FOR THE DEMOCRATS PICK.<

Me, too. Anyone who says they won't vote for the Dem if their candidate doesn't win is admitting that they are far less concerned with the the war, the economy and all of the other problems the Republicans have brought down upon us than they are with winning the contest itself. And that includes the candidates. If the loser does not immediately support the winner, we'll know where he or she has been coming from all along.

MSM interview with Barack Obama;

Senator, what would you do if Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda staged another massive attack against the US?

Obama: Well, I would first give a speech praising Osama for listening to my speeches, because obviously he took a page from my script about "yes, we can."

Then, I would call in the director of the CIA and ask him to search for Osama, so that we can sit down and have a little chat, because I believe I can inspire our enemies into not killing us by talking, inspiring and hoping that they won't kill us again.

Then, I would invite the creator of the Landmark Forum, Werner Erhard, to have a forum where we all can get together and share our feelings. I want to get to know the feelings of our enemies, so that they no longer murder us.

After, we can go to the beach and sing around the campfire, "yes, we can. yes, we can." We will hold hands, cry together, and forgive, then sing Kumbaya until we are blue in face.

MSM reporters: "Obama, you are the best. We have tingly feelings all over our bodies. I feel so inspired by your message."

Hillary is just beginning to sound hysterical more and more every day.

I'm waiting for the breakdown live on TV with tears, screaming and demanding she be called Madame President because goddamnit it is her presidency and some upstart young black is NOT going to take that from her.

Then Bill will come up and gently take her away to the waiting ambulance to Bel Vue.

Hillary's campaign just proves how cynical we have gotten in America. People in the Hillary and McCrazy camps are so cynical that they cannot run on a platform of hope and unity. America was not created by cynics who said we could not "create a more perfect union". It was created by optimists that wanted to create a country that was tolerant and free. Thanks the conservative elements in America this true promise has not been even close to reality until the relatively near future in the 60's. But now one cannot argue that the country has progressed very slowly since then. Why? Because too many people think a message of hope is some kind of cult tactic to fool the naive. Well millions of Obama supporters want to prove that hope is not a bad thing and that we can progress as a nation. We are tired of the culture wars between the likes of Hillary and McCrazy.

Just when I thought she couldn't get any more desperate, she points to SNL as evidence that she's still in the race.

If she wasn't so obnoxiously phony I'd probably be feeling sorry for her right about now.

Message from the Lord of Hope

O people of the world, ye are all the fruit of one tree and the leaves of one branch. Walk with perfect charity, concord, affection, and agreement. I swear by the Sun of Truth, the light of agreement shall brighten and illumine the horizons. The all-knowing Truth hath been and is the witness to this saying. Endeavor to attain to this high supreme station which is the station of protection and preservation of mankind.

This is the intent of the King of intentions,

and this the hope of the Lord of hopes.

lornejl: I think the pounding is going to be on Obama. Why would anyone be talking about Hillary, if she does lose and Obama is the nominee.

It will be the Republicans against Obama. Wishful thinking if you think that OBama's free ride isn't all but over now.

In the last episode of SNL before the strike (the one with Brian Williams, where Obama appeared in a cameo), a running theme was the fact of Hillary's nomination being a foregone conclusion, particularly in the media.

Writers were gone for three months (and I really wish we could have had SNL, Stewert and Colbert during this historic period) and when they come back, the places are reversed.

SNL comments on things that are happening. A few months ago, what was happening was a rush to judgement on who had the nomination locked up, based largely on polls and the Clinton spin machine.

In the months since, Obama has surged, Hillary has stumbled, and the media, frontrunners that they are have caught Obama fever. The difference is that back then, Obama didn't hold up the SNL skit for scrutiny and say, "see they love Hillary." He did what candidates do. Stayed on message. Stayed positive. Built a solid organization around himself and a strategy geared at long term success.

I don't think Hillary can turn it around at this late date, but if she can, she's not going to do it whining about every little thing.

And for the record, while funny, the skit was innacurate. A lot of media-types have caught Obama-fever, but there was certainly nothing biased about the three who ran last week's debate.

I hope Hillary also caught the Tina Fey Women's News bit, where Fey declared herself and Amy Poehler "b*tches" and also embraced their "b*tchiness" exclaiming that "B*tches get things done."

Her "finding her voice in New Hampshire aside" Hillary would do well at this late date to decide who she is and embrace that, rather changing everyday based on the perceived desires of the electorate.

In a single debate, she can be petty with Obama about the trumped up plagiarism charges, and an hour later be incredibly gracious (while "plagiarizing" John Edwards). She extends and olive branch to her adversary on air, and the next day says "shame on you" and then mocks him for being positive.

Get your own message Hillary. Stop obsessing with Obama and maybe voters and media will too.

Hillary needs to understand that she cannot serve two masters - the capitalists and the workers. She can blame the press all she wants but when you sell your soul to the devil you have made a Faustian bargain. Joe Lieberman changed parties. He finally realized that he was a neocon. Hillary is neoliberal (economic imperialism) and a neocon (Gun boat diplomacy). With free trade (tac breaks for outsourcing jobs and no protective tariff) such as NAFTA she is to the right of John McCain in many ways. She is not the anti-Bush but the Bush enabler. So was Bill. P)lease get a clue anhd run on the independent or Republican ticket. DLC is not Democratic party. Nice try. Goodbye. And Good Luck!
