Karl Rove

Karl Rove appeared on today's premiere of Fox News' new election show, "America's Election HQ." At the tail end of his segment he addressed last night's controversial "60 Minutes" piece, which suggested that Rove worked through a Republican operative in Alabama to dig up dirt on the Governor there. Rove flatly denied the allegations and called CBS the "National Enquirer of network news," claiming that CBS never even called him for comment on the story.

If CBS is the "National Enquirer" of Network News, what the heck does that make Fox--perhaps the "Hustler Magazine" branch?

Larry Flynt established HUSTLER, delights in exposing hypocracy among public figures [including holier than thou politicians], makes meaningful efforts to assert &/or protect the right of free expression; FAUX NOISE isn't close to being like HUSTLER. While FAUX NOISE is as unreliable & biased as the MSM is-FAUX NOISE constantly plumbs the depths of right wingnut bias & reaches the nadir of bias & hypocracy there may be a print periodical which also plumbs the depts of bias & hypocracy that competes with FAUX NOISE to set a new lower nadir of corruption & often beats FAUX NOISE to hold the unenviable & undesirable record of going deeper in the pursuit of infamy & holds the record for reacing an new lower nadir for a week or so.

Nice try Karl. I suggest you leave the country because when the Dems win in November you'll be looking at jail time once you are convicted. You better pray that John Edwards doesn't get the nod as Attorney General.

Forget jail time, just waterboard him every ten minutes for each Iraq casualty.

That 60 minute episode was as a surprise. I didn't think main stream TV would allow any negative material about,"The Party" to go on the air.
I hope Rove goes to prison.

Pardon the pun but "The Party" is over. Not even Nader can help them this time.

Americans don't deserve Nader.

We're too f**king stupid.

HA HA Rove just may be right!
Both exist as a means to sell advertizing to make money.
If so, Fox is the, "Weekly World News" and Rove is a pig/nazi clone experiment gone bad!
Only problem is, "Weekly World News" was funny as well as outrageous. Rove is just another dangerous spokesman for fascism who would stop at nothing. Bat Boy would surely take a bite out of him to save our Democracy.

I am sick of all the dam political games that this administration has stuffed-tied with a big red bow, down and up our in take pipes. If impeachment does not happen, our sole democrat republic form of government is just a flush a way!

A day does not go by and some form of scandal surfaces and/or is just compounding others.

I don't get it why people think this administration has done nothing wrong? Did they live with tolls, fairy's, three little pigs? They sure act as if they all live in fairyland!

52 attorneys general of both sides of the spectrum calling for a congressional inquiry; McCain neglects to disclose Arbramoff e-mail to Gov Riley; AlbertoGate; do you think at this rate this neocon gang will make Nixon out to be Howdy Doody?

Rove is bringing his White House political tactics into Fox. You can see it clearly here as he projects Fox News' worst qualities onto CBS. Now if people call Fox News "national enquire" they look like they are being reactionary, even though the descriptor perfectly fits Fox and not CBS. That's exactly what he always does in political races too. And what Hillary is doing this race.

You've got it right. The tactic is always to take your own worst trait and go on the offensive by accusing the opposition of it.

If Rove says the allegations are false, I'm inclined to believe him. After all, his track record of honesty is one to be admired.

Karl Rove will lead the downward spiral for Fox News just like he did for the Republican Party.

On YouTube there is a video of protesters in Vancouver Canada greeting Rove at the airport. Students at a Connecticut School protested the choice of Rove as a graduation speaker and he was rejected.

Rove has a lot of bad karma coming his way.

Rove is married and has a step-son in college
(not in Iraq). He left the White House to "spend time with his family."
