Madonna Goes To Jury Duty

Madonna was up past 4 a.m. this morning rubbing shoulders with the likes of Demi Moore and Tom Cruise at her exclusive Oscar after-party at Guy Oseary's Beverly Hills home.

A few hours later, she was chilling with a different crowd: The Material Girl, 49, is on jury duty.

Clad in a brown Juicy Couture sweat suit over an Ed Hardy shirt, she arrived at the Beverly Hills Courthouse this morning.

She downed an omelet for breakfast, says a source.

Madonna was overheard saying she "got three hours of sleep last night," the source tells Usmagazine.com.

If someone wore a sweatsuit to jury duty in Pittsburgh (no matter how much it cost), they'd get sent home for being "disrespectful to the Court." I've seen it happen with my own eyes. And they have to come back the next day "properly dressed." The judge who seats juries in that town kicks ass and takes names.

Get a life. It wasn't your average sweat suit. If you know anything about them, it looks just like a pantsuit. I swear you people will find anything about Madonna to criticize. At least she showed up for jury duty and didn't submit the number of excuses most noncelebs use.
