Ohio: Hillary Clinton Goes On The Attack With New Robocall

I got a robocall from Hillary Clinton tonight. This time she was angry, railing at Barack Obama's "dishonest" mailers about trade policy. She told me that she's the one who will have a "trade prosecutor," not Barack Obama.

"I have a plan," she declared. "My opponent does not. Ohio needs solutions, not distortions."

No more Ms. Nice.

Suddenly it all clicked into place. Her entire Ohio strategy is now based on convincing us that Obama is dishonest and untrustworthy. She's filled with righteous anger at his deceptions, and she expects us feel it too.

Hillary Clinton unveils a new campaign slogan: "Admit nothing, deny everything, make counter-accusations".

I agree! Hilliary has lost much of the respect that she once had. I almost feel sorry for her.

Did you read that crap about what she'll do to end child poverty? "HILLARY, what were you doing those 8 years when you were a resident of the White House?" As the First Lady, you could have done a lot way back then; now all of a sudden we're suppose to believe you're sincere about child poverty? "Child Poverty?" Even that is ignorant- don't you know that if a child is impoverished it's because their parents are?

And what did Pres. Bill Clinton do for unionized, blue collar, and the Middle-Class workers? He made sure that our jobs would be exported overseas! That's one thing we can't lay entirely at Bush's doorstep! That darn NAFTA has led to the exodus of so many jobs-- I'd love to hear a campaign promise to repeal NAFTA if its legally possible.

Really, Hillary Clinton should stop talking about being ready on day 1-- how much public service and political/government service has she really rendered? Let's see, after her term of being 1st Lady was over, she and Bill didnt return to Arkansas, no. They went to New York...she would have gone to any State that had an opening to run for office. Why doesn't anyone talk about her republican days when she was a fanatical understudy (so to speak) of Richard Nixon. Is that were she learned her dirty tactics? But as Brooklyn said, she'll admit nothing, deny everything, and make up crap in order to make counter accusations!

obama continues to morph into the newest incarnation of the teflon man. his tactics are the same disengenuous, old school politics of distorting the truth, nowhere near "change we can believe in," as promised. anyone who thinks otherwise is either dillusional or just not paying attention.

see today's article in the new republic

She is amused, not tasteful. Not much different from Obama's tactics. Really. Let's give him another pillow too while we are at it.
I think if she (Hillary) get's a little "bitchy", it's over due. What? Obama can't take that? Wait.....he will be up against so much more against the Republicans...and in the White House. You don't think that while the "Clintons" were in the White House that they weren't subject to "Witch hunting"? Sure they were. They were also found to be non creditable if you read what Star found. Get yourself a beer and quit complaining because someone is really being more definative in their compaign. Obama has been doing it, now you get upset because Hillary is doing it? OH! Your offended? You weren't when Obama did it.

The Obama mailer which is based on fact has been out there long before her rage tantrums began which followed the last debate which democratic voters who watched believed Obama won thus the new tactic. This is transparently phoney.

So Hillary's Wolf is now snapping his teeth at Obama's "pattern of making statements and promises and then walking away from them." We are told that he lacks "consistency." GASP!!

Hmmm...I guess "consistency" is like voting for the war, and then, despite overwhelming evidence of its tragic futility, refusing to back down from that position, or even admit that it was a mistake.

Yep, that's exactly what I want in a President: the inability to adjust to new facts and realities, and the narcissistic gracelessness to hold to a position long after it's been proved to be wrong.

I've actually listened to these robocalls and they are not merely assertive. They are destructive. I am an avowed feminist, one who was a stay-at-home dad so my wife could pursue her career in science; one who raise two daughters to think as if they didn't have a sex, and see the intellect as the first place to find the self, not the crotch. I take great offense at the ballbusting mockery and her belitting of all new voters that Obama has brought to the party. This is selfish and self-centered entitlement and it will turn voters off. If HRC wins, I will proudly vote for the first woman president. But right now, in the Ohio primary, she has turned me off so completely that I will not support her for the nomination. And I put the fault for that right at her feet.

Billary 08 should just apologize to the Ohio residents and say Bill & her made a mistake. They will penalize any US company that moved equipment and their jobs overseas by slapping a penalty of 50% ony any goods that enter the US ports from any such company!

Yeah that'll happen.... Billary 08 where all US manufacturing jobs are destined to migrate overseas.

AMEN! The US trade deficit was greatly increased by NAFTA-and it's not just Ohio residents who need an apology. The US as a whole deserves an apology!

Hillary Clinton needs to pack it up, reel Bill in, and go home (wherever that truly is) before it's too late.

Hillary...admit a mistake. Never. That's part of the problem....

from these Obama supporters' responses, it seems they feel it's not only unacceptable for women to be assertive, but even for them to defend their position. How dare they... women wake up and smell the sexism...

"Why I am not a Sexist" by ibsteve2u

I am not a sexist because 99% of the women that I have met in my lifetime would never confuse disagreement with sexism.

"I am not a sexist because 99% of the women that I have met in my lifetime would never confuse disagreement with sexism."

YES! I am so tired of people being called sexist for simply finding these tactics distasteful. I'm sure there is a fair amount of sexism going around but this is getting old. By your reasoning Hillary is a racist for saying things like this about Obama. Even though these statements have nothing to do with race.

"from these Obama supporters' responses, it seems they feel it's not only unacceptable for women to be assertive"

I wouldn't call Hillary's actions lately "assertive." I think Barack's responses to her attacks are the very definition of assertive.

Oh cry me a river ECMD. She has had all the advantages of name recognition and a political machine. She has been out worked, out manuevered and run a train wreck of a campaign. She has tied herself to the past at a time when the country is lokking for something new. She has made major mistakes (Iraq, Iran, NAFTA,etc) but just like Bush, cannot admit it. I have a wife and 2 daughters who'd rather vote for a 3rd party than support her.

"Trade prosecutor"?

Ummm...ya can't prosecute someone who isn't breaking the law.

Until those treaties Hillary's hubby rammed down the throats of America's workers are reworked, "trade prosecutor" is about as valid a job as "United States Ambassador To the As Yet Undiscovered Residents of Mars".

(Oops...I forgot - "can't prosecute someone who isn't breaking the law" is a misstatement on my part.

It appears that you can, if you're a Republican.

At least, that is the impression that I am getting from the ongoing controversy over the Republican prosecution/persecution of Alabama's former Democratic governor, Don Siegelman.

http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,1627427,00.html?xid=feed-cnn-topics

If that case and prosecution is valid, there are a whole slew of Presidents and Ambassadors who need to be prosecuted and imprisoned.)
