Coulter Caught On Camera: "Chop It Up So I Can Snort It"

Another one from Harry Shearer's Found Objects. First, Katie Couric spoofing Dan Rather behind the scenes — then another off-air Couric moment while she prepped for election coverage and slammed her old Today Show colleagues. Today, video of Ann Coulter chewing her Nicorette, but turning down a second piece unless "you can chop it up so I can snort it. That would help."

Ms. Coulter is a brilliant professional propogandist who has made a fortune antagonizing every single minority group in America to the everlasting adulation of her tiny core constituency. It is difficult to believe that a person with such an intellect and ability would be so incredibly uncouth, racist, homophobic, xenophobic, and truly revel in the destruction and death of others. It is more logical to believe that Ms. Coulter is playing a character that is making her a great deal of money, providing her standing in a certain political, social, and religious arena, and finally she like many others before her likes the attention. And, this brings me to the point of this particular article, we must raise our level of discourse, if Ms. Coulter asks for her nicotine gum to be chopped up so she can snort it - I am certain she was joking - there is no reason to draw any negative conclusion other than the fact that a sensational headline was needed and Ms. Coulter's statement out of context filled the bill. Note, if everyone in America was indicted for complaining about the taste of nicotine gum, the courts would quickly grind to a halt. Ms. Coulter is far too talented a writer, speaker, and debater - if you wish to attack her do not waste valuable coverage space on such nonsense - dedicate time and resources to an actual investigation of her methodology, financing, loyalties, and sources.
