None of this is surprising, especially Bill O'Reilly's level of dickdom... would you honestly expect anything less? The more famous, the more talented, the more successful often the more gracious - cause they don't have to prove anything to anyone. The less talented wanting to be more than they are tend to be the bigger assholes.

This is all interesting -- to see the veil lifted... but a more interesting edit of the footage would have been to see this real footage and then the moment that red light goes on and the persona shows up... just as a juxtaposition... See how fast they can turn it on. Because that's how fast they can turn it off, and how fast they can turn on anyone around them.

The is no "radical left" in this country. It is a Calvinist work ethic/Social Darwinist/­corporatis­t state that offers up as its guiding wisdom, "If you work yourself to death and believe right, you will be honored/saved by God in the end." The country's leadership is and always has been suspicious of any type of government­-sponsored social support. Why? This view has utopian overtones and suggests the innate goodness of humanity, which goes against its guiding Protestant Calvinist principles. Politically, the country has always been shifted to the Protestant right, not the "radical left," the dialectica­l-material­ist communist left. To me, Coulter is horribly insensitive, and "hateful," even more so because she suggests everything she does is all an act in off-camera moments like these. On a side note, I have yet to meet a person using nicotine not suffering from some form of mental illness. I say this not in judgement but in sincere hope that Coulter seeks treatment for what to me is a frightening lack of empathy for anyone remotely human.
