Jennifer Love Hewitt Bikini Talk Continues: I Won't Work Out To Change How I Look

Jennifer Love Hewitt is still talking about the infamous bikini shots that had her criticized in newspapers, television and magazines late last year. At an Oscar party she told People magazine, who put the picture and Hewitt's defense on their cover:

"The thing I think is great is when those pictures were taken, no matter what, I had just been asked to marry," says Hewitt, engaged to Scottish actor Ross McCall, "so he loves me just the way I am."

And if she does decide to something about her body, "I will for my health, not for typical reasons," she told PEOPLE on Sunday at an Oscar viewing party at SBE's The Abbey in West Hollywood.

"If I do work out more it will be for my health, so I can live a long time and we can have kids and be happy together until we are in our 80s," Hewitt, 29, said at the event, benefiting AIDS Project Los Angeles. "It won't be because I am worried about how I look."

Soon after the pictures went public, Hewitt blogged how a "size 2 is not fat."

Lord but I am so sick of stick people... Orlando looks like a girl..models have bones poking through their skin. I don't condone 300 lbs but this thin crap is just that.. crap! When I was young and that would be Twiggy times, I quit eating because I felt I was fat. Damned near killed myself! Good God if we can't be comfortable in our own skin where can we be comfy? Wheh she was a teenager she looked like a teenager. When she was in her early twenties she looked in her early twenties. Now she's about to hit 30 and looks almost 30. Quel supris!

I had mentioned elsewhere that lately I've been enjoying TV - not for the plots but to see former 'cute young things' from TV-gone-by now playing the aging wives of politicians or the distraught mothers of kidnapped children. It took 20 years but they've gone from fluffy-headed ingenue to thoroughly competent character actors. Most often I prefer their current incarnation to their former.

Good for her. She's beautiful and has a sexy body. It always sucks when other hot actresses lose so much weight that their figure disappears. Breasts and curves are sexy. Anorexia is not.

Every actor, man or woman, is kidding themselves if they don't think looks (even character actor looks) don't matter.

I guarantee her agent will be foaming to producers every time she gets an unflattering close-up.
