I Like ItI Don’t Like It
Katie Biden

Katie Couric has a YouTube channel, and she's not afraid to use it, or to appear on camera unprimped, or to get behind it when necessary — which is precisely what she did earlier this week after serving as moderator in a conversation with him at the Council of Foreign Relations, discussing his recent trip to Afghanistan, Pakistan India and Turkey. Then she tried to get him to say who he liked better, Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama; he declined to profess a favorite ("I'm going to let the Democratic voters decide"). He did say that he thought either of them could beat John McCain ("John seems not willing to distance himself from the Bush foreign policy which has been a disaster for America"). Couric held the camera while talking to Biden, old-school style, and then exhorted him to checkit out on YouTube after, asking "Do you ever watch YouTube?" Aw. She's down with the lingo. Then she recommended her favorite YouTube clip about a little girl having a toilet-side funeral for her fish. So we know what Biden's doing today! Watch below:

*This is actually pretty sweetly hilarious, vintage YouTube — cute kid, hapless adults, and dead fish. The mother's speech is particularly moving.

THIS FONT SIZE AND COLOR IS NOT COMFORTABLE AT ALL... PLEASE CHANGE IT.

You knew you would get complaints, but this is more then that. This is a plea.
Please just give us back at least black lettering so those of us who have a hard time focusing ( I have a damaged retina-and believe me, it sucks when you love to read as much as me.) can see better.

right on "FOTH". i met biden in iowa right before he dropped out. totally sincere, extrememely nice guy. while tweedle-dee and tweedle-dumb cry to the teacher about whatever, he's out there doing the work a president SHOULD be doing. i cant even begin to imagine obama doing what biden does. hes a tru patriot.

God we missed an opportunity having Biden as the nominee. I know the guys got some baggage, but he really understands the world stage and I believe would have made one hell of a president.

Amen.

Amen.

Amen.

Biden didn't lose... American lost when he dropped out. He was my man and I still look to him as the voice of reason, intelligence and insight.

What ugly lighting.... she should sue.
It should be obvious to all by now that anchors of a certain age should not leave the bright and flattering lights of the studio.

dude, who cares. it's a video meant specifically for the internet. her youtube channel, if you ever ventured to look at it instead of seeing one video without context, you'd know that it's designed to be personal and behind the scenes, to give the youtubers a chance to see things they wouldn't be able to see on the Evening News. would you honestly say those comments if it were Brian Williams or Charlie Gibson in this video? I really do not think so.
