Cindy Adams Is "An Idiot" Says Kidman's Rep

In response to allegations from New York Post columnist Cindy Adams that Nicole Kidman was drinking wine at he Academy Awards, which we reported about....

The Australian actress' publicist, Catherine Olim of PMK, sent PerezHilton.com the following statement:

"I try to ignore your column, unlike most of the rest of the world, because it is so nasty. But I have to tell you that Nicole Kidman most certainly did NOT drink white wine or any other alcoholic beverage backstage. She had water and lemon zinger tea. That's it. I know, I was there with her I cannot remember that last time that Cindy Adams got anything right. She's an idiot, and you can quote me."

Cindy Adams used to be very "cruel" to Jacqueline Kennedy. She was mad to Mrs. Kennedy
because she said and I quote: "JACQUELINE LEAVES IN MY BUILDING AND SHE DOESN'T

you got it, cj. things of this nature spouted out by cindy adams are damaging and hurtful in the most visceral way. some things publicists simply can't ignore and i'm glad that's nicole's took a stand on this in no uncertain terms.

i'm not the biggest kidman fan, but what's right is right.

pehaps cindy's wig needs adjustment. it's apparently on too tight.

Cindy Adams is an idiot. She trolls around 30 Rock's hallways and lavatories looking for gossip... sometimes its old, often its wrong and at least one time (I know personally, for sure) was a potential security breach. The publicist was dead on.
