Huckabee Sends McCain A Debate Invitation

As promised, Mike Huckabee sent John McCain an official request Tuesday for a debate.

"Now that the race for the Republican nomination is down to just the two of us, I believe this is the time for a real discussion about our vision for the future of this great country," the letter reads. "I encourage you to join me in a Lincoln Douglas-style debate so that voters can better understand our views on critical issues."

The disinformation is incredible.

Ask Ron Paul to join the debate. He will be at the convention with alot of national delegates. People do not understand the primary system when the threshold of virtual delegates is not reached for the electee....from there...its grassroots. Go RON!

This is great! Maybe Huck will ask McCain whether he thinks an egg is a person? McCain will be put on the spot. Will he appease the fundies at the risk of putting off the vast majority of us that didn't fall asleep in high school biology?

Hell, if we are still humoring Hillary's requests for debates, as though she has an ice cube's chance in hell of winning this thing, we might as well give Huckabee a shot at McCain. Why only have Democrats stabbing themselves in the back?
