Us Weekly delights in capturing celebrities doing every-day activities to show that they're "Just Like Us!" The magazine set its sights on Barack Obama to make sure that, no matter how big a celebrity he becomes, we still know that he goes to the market, plays with babies and rides roller-coasters. Actually, yeah. But they're very sensible. They're pretty down on Britney and Paris and all of that. They think that's very "yuck." They're way more into Hannah Montana and Beyonce. They got to go backstage and meet Beyonce and they just love her to death.

Really this is silly, but I'm an Obama supporter so I get why they need to do this. Obviously there are a people who think Us Weekly is news instead of gossip and with all the disinformation out there about the candidate this helps demystify him. I’m also sure these people don’t read HuffPo so this is a waste of space.

Here is an example of how you Obama and McCain supporters take an article which is supposed to depict Sen. Obama as a likeable person and family man engaging with his daughter and you turn into Hillary Bashing. This is why Hillary supporters are growing to resent and despise Obama and his supporters by the minute.

I am an absolute sucker for baby pictures of ANYONE. They tend to make you look at everyone differently..in an innocent way. You can take the meanest, nastiest person in the world---Rush Limbaugh for example...you can loath him but once you see his baby picture you just say 'awwwwww'. Either 'awwwww' because they were so cute and turned out to be pretty good and decent people...like Barack for instance...or 'awwwww...I wonder what happened to him'....like in the case of Rush Limbaugh or Bill Cunningham for instance.....lol.

He's sure as hell not like me. I didn't use pot or cocaine or alcohol when I was in high school or college. I don't favor leaving the nuclear option 'on the table' with regard to Iran. I am not for sending predator aircraft into foreign countries to kill people. I am not waiting for Jesus to come back here and kill all the people who don't embrace Jesus. I am not for giving the Israelis special treatment. I am not for ignoring the Palestinian Genocide and blaming their misery on themselves. I am not like Obama.

Only people who know me can respect me and mean it so I cannot accept your feigned, insincere compliment, even if I have earned it. I'm proud that I've never killed or hurt anyone, never done drugs, don't rely on the superstitions of religion and respect all laws, including international laws against genocide, collective punishment and use of nuclear weapons. All I want in a President is a man who rejects drugs, refuses to condone attacking other nations and does not condone the behavior of the Israelis versus the non-Jewish people of the Middle East.

I think any elected official in the US owes us as much.
