MSNBC:

Sen. Hillary Clinton has declined to return $170,000 in campaign contributions from individuals at a company accused of widespread sexual harassment, and whose CEO is a disbarred lawyer with a criminal record, federal campaign records show.

The federal government has accused the Illinois management consulting firm, International Profit Associates, or IPA, of a brazen pattern of sexual harassment including "sexual assaults," "degrading anti-female language" and "obscene suggestions."

People, people, relax....
This just came out and the details are not known...
I am sure there is more to this story than the inflamatory curt sentences the Huffy post is known for...
There is no way she would accept these funds if the allegations were indeed true...
She may need the cash, but she needs female voters MORE...
Let's not get crazy before we know more...

Yes because sexual harassment towards women shouldn't be taken seriously, right. You Clinton supporters go to no limits to amaze me. You stand by her no matter the situation. I at least give Bill some credit for knowing to look for something else.

No, I am a female and take this stuff very seriously - but you have to consider THE SOURCE. This is coming out of MSNBC, otherwise known as the pro-Obama, hate HRC camp, and so their credibility with me - and THE REST OF THE WORLD AND PRESS - is zero. I happen to consider things like the sources for where this information comes from, especially when they are biased, inflammatory knuckleheads like grandpa "I hate women" Chris Matthews and pimped-out David Shuster.

So wait a second ----
Tina Fey can say "bitch is the new black" and that's okay because a woman said it about another woman.
Hillary takes a huge sum of money from a company whose CEO is a disbarred attorney with a criminal record and the company is alleged to have "... a brazen pattern of sexual harassment including "sexual assaults," "degrading anti-female language" and "obscene suggestions."
And that's okay?
I post a comment on Hillary's blog with no reference to gender and I, a woman, am called a sexist..

And I should vote for Hillary why exactly?

Don't you know??? Because you're a WOMAN and so is she. That makes sense, doesn't it? It's time for a woman in the WH. Erica and Gloria say so!

The incontinent old women and the female WalMart greeters are voting for hillary simply because she is a woman. Lack of penis is the only qualifying factor.

Seems like Brittney Spears is equally qualified - has a vagina, been to lots of countries, bleached blond hair, is able to answer the phone....

Poor HIllary, this is pathetic.

Not as pathetic as the war dead from Iraq, Iraqi and American, are.

Hillary is not a progressive or liberal or humanitarian and she dam sure doesn't feel the pain of the dead.

Do we really want a woman who voted for an immoral war of preemption to represent us to the world after eight years of failure?

ohhhhmygoddddd
you people are so overwroght.
Where are all these comments on the Rezko story.

Get a bit of reality, objectivity, critical thinking, open mindedness, self awareness.
You just look stupid with this sophomoric rhetoric.
Not only do you make yourselves look ridiculous but you make Barack look bad. Do you really think he relishes having bots as supporters?
Do you really think your hateful, biases, unreasoned thinking is something he (or you) could be proud of?
Get a fricking education that teaches you some critical thinking skills, or get a life, or get something... eat more chocolate, have great sex, read history, read something besides blogs so you can contribute some actual facts and have discussions rather than just regurgitating the same old reheated hate that the right wing neo-cons fed the left 15 years ago when apparently you were in grammar school.

this self righteous, sanctimonious moralizing sounds like it came from John Boehner (sp) or some other 27%er supporter of the idiot king. Next you will be weeping hypocritically about something that you have been telling yourself about someone you don't know that was whispered in your ear and you bought into.

Goooooddddd!
give it a rest.

S/He who is without sin cast the first stone.

Progressive does not do Holier than thou Piety.
It isn't a Progressive value.

I guarantee that this will not be picked up by the national media. Just like her no vote on the FISA bill. When you vote for Clinton you are getting a loose cannon. You are getting someone who stands behind corporations, as seen as her years as a Wal Mart lawyer represent. What are people in Texas and Ohio thinking?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 11:48 PM on 02/29/2008

as a native, i can happily tell you that she is not as popular here as some may suggest. the news that she wants to sue Texas because she does not like how we run our state elections is not going over well at all. we don't like interlopers telling us how things should be.

Well from one Sooner to a Longhorn, that is something we both can agree on. I might even give a hook em horns if Obama wins Texas.

You guarantee?
Wow!

Go read the Rezko story, there is a guarentee over there too.

There is someone taking offers to lay odds.
LOL

Hmmmm, lets look at this shall we?
Critical thinking skills rusty?
Don't worry, who needs them anyway.

Rezco, 300,000 dollar discount on a home?
A deal with someone indicted... though not convicted... who gave to his campaign(s) and who put together the deal and bought the lot next door without the discount. full price.
Several years for the money to be given away to charity... though not all of it.
Some seems to not be counted/found yet... according to the story.
(Hillary planted it I think.)

or

170,000 dollars in contributions ?
The head of a company being investigated, but not indicted along with employees and friends donate to the Clinton campaign.
(again... not all of this came from the wretched head of the company and none of which came from the firm itself)

Ok, hmmmm six of one?
how many of the other?

oh lord,
you people with your puerile and inane judgments. What hypocrisy.
Get your head out of your butts and go learn how to think so you can actually make a contribution to the refining of political discourse... you are Barack supporters aren't you?

Well we have work to do and this is not how it gets done.
Hate is not a Progressive value so get real.

You people need to be parented.

ummm

not only do you seem to be lacking in critical thinking skills, it seems you do not have the skills to read and pick out the facts.

Too many words?
Go on dear,
Go back and read it again.
Bring a pencil and paper and make a numbered list and as you read put one pertinent FACT down next to each number. Are you still with me?
Don't let the word fact scare you, there really aren't that many that are pertinent, though there are more than you have initially picked out.

Then get another piece of paper, number it and go here: http://tinyurl.com/2ybeya
and do the same thing with the pertinent facts.
You will find some interesting facts, innuendos, and creepiness in both stories.

Now run along. This is something that can help you learn those critical thinking skills needed to make rational assessments before passing judgment... Plus, for purely personal reasons you really kind of need those skills to make healthy decisions in order to survive in the world.

I will be happy if Obama wins, but he is not stainless.
No one rises as fast as he has on purity. This is politics, that is Chicago.

I've been hearing about Chicago politics for decades. I was around for the Democratic convention in 68.

If you want to judge, fine, but then judge equally, even handedly... otherwise we might as all just call ourselves Republicans.
I am so sick of the neo-con propaganda being repeated by the left.

Hillary isn't perfect but if she is as evil as everyone says she would have already won the whole damn election not just the primary.
My God!

Yes, she is for women's rights.

Yes, she has done a lot of work for women. and children. Yes, she has worked for 35 years in one cause or another. People throw wal mart around as if they actually know what she was doing there. LOOK IT UP. All of this is verifiable through a tiny bit of research... plus you can come across some really nifty far right, wingnut sites that are at least 10 years old and have hate Hillary rhetoric that sounds remarkably and suspiciously familiar.

Youtube must have her speech in China.
While you are at it you can see her very cogent speech on the senate floor explaining her Iraq vote.
You don't have to agree with that vote to make an attempt to actually listen to it and try to understand it.

And look up her role in the Nixon almost Impeachment. Her research is what led to Nixon stepping down... gee, do the neo-cons hold a grudge?

do you have to hate her to love Obama?

What kind of love is that?

This is a legitimate story about Hillary's sad practices. Let's see how much play it gets in the so-called Obama-Loving MSM. Clinton News Network wont touch it. Maybe Fox. We'll see. The media has been played by the Clinton's.

You're right. The media is totally skewed toward Clinton. I've been calling CNN "Clinton News Network" for weeks, too. Journalistically speaking, it's a disgrace (and FAR from "the best political team on television").

Hillary is getting VERY sympathetic coverage overall, no matter what she does or says. I'm tired of her whining. Obama's the one who's got a tough time of it. I think the Clinton emails (Rove style) really -have- intimidated the press (at least the tv press).

Sad.

I agree.....the media in the last few weeks have been totally intimidated by the Clinton machine.

Hey people if you want Barack to win Texas and Ohio......get on the phones this weekend and call voters in Texas and Ohio. I've been calling the last few days, and I have changed the mind's of at least 20 people who were leaning toward's Clinton, and considering the race will be very, very close your calls can make a difference. We've got to fight back and get involved in the process.

It's great having this format for us to rant and rave and express ourselves.....but it's up to each and everyone of us to volunteer at least a few hours to get our guy nominated. Go to Barack's website and you'll get all the info you need re phone banks---you can do this all from the comfort of your own home tomorrow and Sunday.

WALK YOUR TALK!

I have to agree with you. I've noticed that these types of stories fall to the wayside, while everything about Obama is getting aired out. My theory is that the MSM wants this to continue since better ratings equals better business. If they told the world that Obama is actually as good as he seems, they'd have to go back to reporting on Britney Spears.
