The Hill:

Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-W.Va.) endorsed fellow Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) Friday, as Obama continued to weather criticisms from rival Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) about his ability to handle foreign affairs issues.

Rockefeller, chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, said Obama's position on the Iraq war in 2002 was partially behind his decision to support the Illinois senator.

The truth is that these ads are repeats we saw during bill's election back in '92 and the truth is not only was she fooled by bush by her Iraq war vote she's been shamed by Penn is who is only using the tactics he used to get bill re-elected.
Is a good excuse to say hillary was scammed by bush as well her own political strategist? No, I'm, sorry hillary has been duped by her husband and by the scam artist Penn who has obviously taken a woman who though she had it all, but had no two snaps up but two snaps down.
Although hillary is smart, no doubt she has now fallen for the line two men gave her and ended up the loser on both counts.
Her best bet would be to lose bill, and try to resurrect her political life as a senatior because for a woman this deep in the muck, and it will take her building herself once more which sometimes happens when we think too much of ourselves.
I wish her luck.

Thank you Senator. We need honesty and good judgment in washington, not corruption and deal-making. Thank you for rejecting the Clinton pressure and their crooked tactics. We need America back and thank you for standing up when it matters the most.

Endorsing in the last days once the winner is foreseeable is cowardly. Imagine, a cowardly Democratic congressperson! Who knew. I'm more interested in the early endorsers, the ones I'd have expected to endorse Hillary, like Kerry and the Kennedys. I want to know what Hillary did to piss off all her colleagues to the extent that they are campaigning for Obama with an unseemly ferocity. Oh right - change, transformation, inspiration. If they could site a few real reasons to enthusiastically support Obama, we could have a real conversation.

This is the perfect endorsement on the day that the Clinton ad-man dusts off his Mondale add - the very same red phone one! The story is indeed that the dem. senator who knows the candidates better than we do strongly endorses one over the other, and that Sen. Clinton is indeed about the same old, same old, even in her ads and fear of terror - don;t take my word for it - listen to BILL on fear v hope http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGW38Zy4bJo

David Rockefeller On Ron Paul

(hehe, Fulford is a kind of ironic genius)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jay_Rockefeller

John Davison Rockefeller IV (born June 18, 1937), generally known as Jay Rockefeller, has served as a Democratic U.S. Senator from West Virginia since 1985. He was Governor of West Virginia from 1977 to 1985. As a great-grandson of oil tycoon John D. Rockefeller, he is the only current politician of the prominent six-generation Rockefeller family and the only Democrat in what has been traditionally a staunchly, albeit generally progressive, Republican dynasty.[1]

He is related to several prominent Republican supporters and former officeholders: He is a great-grandson of Rhode Island Senator Nelson W. Aldrich, a nephew of banker David Rockefeller and Arkansas Governor Winthrop Rockefeller and of former U.S. Vice President Nelson A. Rockefeller, son-in-law of former Senator Charles H. Percy of Illinois, cousin of Arkansas Lieutenant Governor Winthrop Paul Rockefeller and former brother-in-law of Senator Mark Dayton of Minnesota.

Hmmmm....Let's see...That's 15 to 12 Dem senators that's endorsed Barack. And that 12 number hasn't changed since last summer. Hey you Obamaphobes, I suppose all these senior senate leaders have been sipping the same Obama-Aid. They're all delusional , huh?

I saw a video of 80-something year old Ethel Kennedy stumping for Barack. Impressive. Touching. His reach is exceeds explanation. He should have a mandate for change; there'll be no excuses. Especially if dems take over congress.

I see Hillary's people have an ace up their sleeve: They're thinking about trying to make Texas change its primary and caucus rules http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23408698//).

"Specifically, Clinton aides questioned a provision allowing caucus attendees to vote to move the location if they choose to do so, and whether people who had cast so-called "provisional ballots" in the primary would have their votes counted in the caucus."

That purty funny, ain't it? What, Hillary's (or Bush's) people already have the current locations bugged?

And how do you reconcile all that yammering about "right to vote" concerning Michigan's and Florida's illegally-moved primaries with not letting people's votes be counted in Texas' caucuses?

lollll...what a loser...

Rockefeller would make an excellent v.p. choice. He adds gravitas on foreign policy, plus he could deliver West Virginia to the Democrats.

When was the last time Clinton got an endorsement from anyone with significant value? Gov. Richardson and Edwards are waiting for what? I'm sure there's a political decision behind their holding back, it's not like their waiting for the candidates to say or do something they don't already know about them.

No kidding. If Richardson really wanted to support Clinton, he would've done so by now. I bet he's hoping she drops out so he doesn't have to endorse Obama and incur the wrath of the Clintons.

As for Edwards and Richardson, it is almost too late for them to matter. After Tuesday, their endorsements will have almost lost value. Today or perhaps tommorow would be optimal; Sunday the value will already be severely discounted. But right now they would be of great value.

I'm happy to say that with each new bit of Clinton snippiness, Barack Obama seems to get another endorsement. Thanks Sen. Rockefeller!

Jay, what took you so long? Seems like most of the most senior foreign relations Dem members of the Congress have come out for Obama.
