The Hillary Clinton Campaign released a video starring Jack Nicholson today. The spot consists of a statement from Nicholson along with him in character as The Joker, Col. Jessup (A Few Good Men), and Jake Gittes (Chinatown). Watch it:

And this message is reinforced by a bunch of _fictional_ characters, and one real-life character who looks like he did this ad at 4:00 am post-Oscar party????

What is going through the Clinton campaign's collective brain? It's like they can't even get out of their own way anymore.

It's pretty funny, but not at all supportive of Clinton...he's sneering at her the same way he sneers at all women.

He mocks her overly made-up money-grubbing style with the "Joker" piece.

Then he brilliantly introduces some of his most famous and most viciously misogynistic and misanthropic lines, without actually delivering them on screen -- getting the audience to finish the sentence for him, e.g. "Why don't you hold it between your knees?" from Five Easy Pieces.

If this is his way of saying "Eff You, Hillary" without her even knowing it, he has succeeded.

Jack playing Melvin Udall in "As good as it gets" would be good addition to play against whom you would call at 3am in the morning commerical : Never, never, interrupt me, okay? Great ad, wonderful Jack cameos, but nobody votes according to what movie stars say. Hillary wanted Edwards, Richardson, Kennedy, Dodd and Lewis and got Nicholson instead -- a 65 year-old pot-smoking paunchy sybarite. That says a whole lot about this ad -- it merely highlights who did NOT endorse Hillary. I can't figure out what the Clinton team has in mind by releasing this now -- except she is trying to reach out to the hip younger generation, but Nicholson is no longer hip. And last time I checked he wasn't Hispanic.

Oh wait, I got it! It was about the part about the sexiest thing being saluting a woman. This is the Commander in Chief card, folks, that was the whole point of this ad. Silly me.

Jack better watch out, Obama supporters like violence, poor Tina Fey had more death threats against her here on Huffpo after she endorsed Hillary than Osama Bin Laden. The campaign of hope and change likes to threaten people who don' t agree with them, as seen here on Huffpo over and over again. I love how Obama supporters trash everyone and than think we will turn around and vote for him in the general if he gets the nomination.

I know. After it started with them threatening on here saying sweet stuff about 'fire in the streets' and it just got worse. Now the stories about John Lewis, he was for Hillary and the Obama campaign told him to switch or he might find himself on the wrong side next election, then they got a younger candidate to run against him that supports Obama, so he had to switch or they will campaign against him. It's like the kind of things mobsters do, not politicians. It shows a mentality of pressure and intimidation very much like Bush and his minions have practiced in recent years. I have never liked the tactics, Sc and Obama's campaign pushing the race card stories was a low tactic, his words say one thing but underneath it there is almost a demand of support or you will not be one of them, it's devisive in it's conception and how it's being conducted. I will not join a cult, I will not become shallow and stop looking deeper into issues. He hasn't shown up for work on his committee overseeing NATO and Aphganistan....NATO is meeting and issues are being decided now, and he has no clue about anything...are our interests even being looked after? Is anyone doing his job if he isn't? Or do we just have no one doing it and Obama is neglecting serious, important work. He keeps wanting these new better jobs, then he wants the next instead of actually doing his job. When he does show up, he can't even manage to vote the way he means to, he backs things like Cheney's energy bill. How is he going to do this? he has never just gone to work and done his job, he always just goes on to the next thing. So is he gonna try to find a way to become the King or something....it's really the only way he can get a 'better job' from the WH.

I'm glad to see Jack passionate about his choice for the democratic nominee and letting it be known, only as he can! The waters certainly seem to get muddier the longer we keep stomping around in our waders, Tuesday won't come soon enough! So Jack, are you going to, BE READY, like your choice tells us, she's ready on day one.
