Marion Cotillard's 9/11 And Moon Landing Conspiracy Theories

Oscar-winning Marion Cotillard was facing embarrasment with her new American public last night after it emerged that she doubted the official account of the September 11 attacks. The 32-year-old French star has swept this year's best actress awards, also receiving a Bafta, Golden Globe and a César for her performance as singer Edith Piaf in La Vie en Rose...

But the actress faces a potential backlash in the US over comments she made in an interview in France. Footage which surfaced on the internet showed her questioning the New York terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, and the 1969 moon landing.

"I think we're lied to about a number of things," she said, singling out September 11.

Referring to the two passenger jets flown into the World Trade Centre, Miss Cotillard said: "We see other towers of the same kind being hit by planes, are they burned? There was a tower, I believe it was in Spain, which burned for 24 hours.

It never collapsed. None of these towers collapsed. And there [New York], in a few minutes, the whole thing collapsed."

Miss Cotillard suggested that the towers, planned in the early 1960s, were an outdated "money sucker" which would have cost so much to modernise that it was easier to destroy them.

Turning to America's space programme, she said: "Did a man really walk on the moon? I saw plenty of documentaries on it, and I really wondered. And in any case I don't believe all they tell me, that's for sure."

Miss Cotillard, who was born and brought up in Paris, made the comments on Paris Première - Paris Dernière (Paris First - Paris Last), a programme first broadcast a year ago.

I guess Napoleon did not lose the "Napoleonic Wars" and the Invasion of Russia. Freaking French ingrates. Cotillard gave her Oscar speech and made mention that "there are Angels in this City (Los Angeles." She believes in angels but not the Moon Landing or the events of 9/11.

Anyone who has looked at the facts and available data cannot accept the official account of what happened on 9/11. There are way too many holes in the Administration's story:

1. Why did WTC 7 collapse at free-fall speed when it was not hit by a plane and there were only 2 small fires?

2. Why is there no picture of a commercial plane hitting the Pentagon? The minor debris showed on some photographs and media footage is clearly NOT from a jet plane.

3. Why is there no picture of a plane in Shanksville? Instead there was just a huge hole in the ground with an 8 mile debris field.

4. Why did our Government fail to mention that on 9/11 our military was engaged in numerous "war games" and exercises -- one of which contemplated hijacked planes hitting the Twin Towers?

5. Both Bush and Condoleeza say no one could have ever imagined a hijacked plane being used to fly into the Twin Towers, but our military had planned for that contingency for years before 9/11.

6. Why did Bush/Cheney refuse to testify under oath -- and why did they insist on testifying together?

7. The NIST (National Institute of Standards & Technology) issued a flawed scientific report in which it tried to explain how steel reinforced skyscrapers could fall at free-fall speeds from a plane flying into them -- even though this was the first time in history it supposedly happened. No one attempted to explain the molten pools of steel at the base of the Twin Towers and WTC 7.

8. To date, no government agency has explained what happened to WTC 7: FEMA issued a preliminary report that admitted it really had no idea.

9. Marvin Bush, Pres. Bush's brother, was a high ranking corporate officer of a company that provided "security" for the Twin Towers right before the attack. Multiple reports show there were many contractors in the building in the months leading up to 9/11 and there were unprecedented "power downs" the weekend before the supposed attack.

10. There are blatant discrepancies and inconsistencies with the statements made by every single top government official: BUSH, CHENEY, RICE, RUMSFELD, TENET, etc. regarding the events on 9/11 -- which are documented in a variety of sources.

*It is worth noting that shortly after 9/11, there were anthrax attacks on the following people:

Sen. Leahy -- strong vocal critic of the Patriot Act
Sen. Daschle -- strong vocal critic of the Patriot Act
Robert Stevens -- photo editor for The Sun who posted unflattering pictures of Bush's daughter Jenna drunk

Don't live your life like an ostrich with your head in the sand. Do some research because there is credible information out there that will appeal to anyone with an open mind and decent intellect.

911. The first thing to remember about the government and the military is that they always lie. Then go from there.

Back a couple of three years ago, it was announced that NASA lost the original moon landing video tapes --- now there was no way to see them. All we have are recordings of what was shown on the tele.

When I first heard that I thought, hmmm... now that's convenient. Then I did some googling, and saw some videos about the moonlanding, and why it was problematic, especially 30 years ago with the technology we had. Then afterwards, the whole thing just sort of disappeared, and we got caught up in Vietnam, Watergate, and Jonestown, etc. Stuff that makes you forget.

Then we didn't do anything space wise until well into the 1980s, and that was only to build a really big airplane, go up in space, and then come back down and land. Nothing even beyond the Van Allen Radiation belt. Remember what happened to the Fantastic Four? Well, that wouldn't have happened. With 1960s technology protecting them those men should have fried.

How the richest country in the world could "lose" evidence of the greatest achievement in the history of mankind, is beyond me. Unless of course, they meant to lose it to cover up something.

And when those men came down and had a press conference, they were the gloomiest, most depressing men I've ever seen -- especially when they should have been jumping up and giving each other high fives. Why were they so nervous? Why did they look so guiltily at each other?

Not saying I believe any of it, but it certainly is intriguing. Heads should have rolled for losing the tapes, but I don't think any did.

Suppose, for arguments sake, you totally believe that UFO Aliens are abducting everyone..­how does that "knowledge" affect your everday life? Do you let that control how you vote?

Or, you are one of many millions who love their guns, are fundamentalist christians but are of the sort that pick and choose cafeteria wise from the tenets of Christianity. How do you vote?

Or you say that you are liberal but you think abortion is ok. How do you vote?

Fact A: Al Qaeda tried to bring down WTC once before back in 93. The perps are in jail.

Fact B: Al Qaeda tried to use hijack jets and ran them into buildings or into the ocean years before 9/11.

Fact C: After 9/11, Al Qaeda terrorists attacked in Spain, England, Turkey, Morocco, Russia, Pakistan and numerous other countries. If you follow the logic of the conspiracy nuts, the US government is directly responsible for carrying out terrorist attacks in other countries just to make 9/11 look legitimate.

Fact D: If the conspiracy theorists had any evidence, they could take their case to court. The families of 9/11 could sue for wrongful death. Some 9/11 conspiracy nuts will say, the government is corrupt, blah blah blah. The government can't control every federal and state judge in the country.

Logical point A: If the WTC were brought down by explosives, there would have been no reason to ram jets into the buildings.

Logical point B: The conspiracy theorists say that the buildings "look" like they were brought down by controlled explosion. What was the point of having a controlled explosion? Why not cause us much murder and mayhem as possible?

Logical point C: At any time the conspiracy theorists could gather the top architects, civil engineers, forensic scientists and physicists in the world and prove their case to the public. They could buy a block of time on television and lay it all out They haven't done so.

What they did do, as the netowrks were preventing them, they went underground, to internet sites that perfomed interviews with the experts. Like I said, the information Bush and co put out isn't the whole story. How for example do you explain the gag order on the media, airports, radios that would have warned uf impending attacks to keep the public safe? That never came out publically, but I know first hand it happened as my own brother is a reporter in DC and was told not to go public with that info. His fellow reporters, same thing. Orders from the networks. Bullshit. Bush wanted this to happen. The fact he was reading my pet goat far away, um, not exactly something he normally does in the course of a day. I'm waiting for Obama to chime in with "I didn't authorize the construction of those towers" because it makes about as much sense as telling America what he intends to do about the mess in Iraq by constantly reminded us he wasn't part of its creation.

As for this lovely actress, she's entitled to her opinions just like anyone else. History will eventually prove whether or not she is on the correct side of 9-11 but I suspect that truth won't come out in OUR lifetimes.

I'm impressed. This gives me hope. She could be picking out a new Bentley or shopping for jewelry, or hanging out with Paris Hilton or indulging in any other number of self absorbed endeavors in service to her self. Instead she found a moment to question authority and display some courage. The official 9/11 report is such an obvious pile of drivel that even just a few minutes of examination should have any thinking person asking questions. As to fake moon landings, I doubt it, but it never hurts to have a healthy dose of skepticism about anything that governments do or say.
