Novak: Rove Peddling Romney As VP

Novak: Rove Peddling Romney As VP

Close supporters of Mitt Romney have been injecting into the political rumor stream an unsubstantiated report that Sen. John McCain obtained the vital endorsement of Florida Gov. Charlie Crist by promising him the vice presidential nomination....

...A footnote: Karl Rove and other prominent Republicans are talking up a McCain-Romney harmony ticket despite personal dislike between the two presidential candidates. Romney also would have to overcome opposition to him going on the ticket by his closest advisers.

Rove's role as the hot line from the Revival Tent Republican camp directly to the White House is over. And thankfully, all that he and the present management of the GOP will be forever gone. His divisive techniques failed him in 2006 when it was discovered that there really were no more snakehandlers around who hadn't voted. Luckily the moronic Rick Santorum and the race baiting George Allen were the two main beneficiaries of this discovery.

The GOP needs to forever get Rove off the stage. The GOP is moving in a different direction. McCain has stated that he believes that Pawlenty would be a good choice. Crist is another possibility. Romney brings nothing to the party. He can't carry Massachusetts. Utah isn't going Democratic.

This is all probably a moot point anyway. It is a Democratic year. That is as long as the Democratic candidate is Obama. I

Rove's imprimatur might be a good thing within the high levels of the party ranks...nationwide it's the kiss of death.

We are ready for the Republican Party to bring Mitt back into the campaign.

GOP Leaders hate MItt almost as much as they hate McCain but he is the best of a bad lot. LOL

Anyway, should they bring him back, we only need to hide our family pet dog from

the callous Mittens. When sh-t flies look to Mitt for the reason and not to his poor dog strapped to the roof of the family's car.

Has Mittens signed up his 5 healthy sons and their wives for military service?

If not, why not? Mitt supports and praises the War Chimp's policies.

McCain is a citizen, but not a " natural born citizen" as specified in the Constitution, because the treaties that gave the U.S. rights to be in Panama, the Hay-Pauncefort Treaty of 1901 and the Hay-Bunau Varilla Treaty of 1903 were never signed by a Panamanian , they were signed by Deputy Sec. of State John Hay and a French National, Phillipe Bunau Varilla. The building of the Panama Canal and the Viet Nam War ( recall Viet Nam was a French Colony, " French" Indochina ) where simply efforts by politicians to use the United States military to promote European Banking interests at the expense of the indigenous peoples of Central America and Viet Nam. The first "Panama "Canal treaty was signed by the United States and England. Panama wasn't even invited. The French were broke after WW ll and asked Eisenhower to keep a few " advisors " to help France stay in control of Indochina & keep the money from tin & tungsten flowing into France. Helping a European Nation prop up a Colony in Asia has a lot more to do with racism , greed, and paranoia than Patriotism. The Revolution of 1776 was fought to PREVENT colonialism. To stop the downfall of America, we need essentially to stop the bullshit. McCain may have been a well intended Naval officer, but the real Patriots saw through the bullshit & were on the streets protesting Nixon & Johnson because they knew in the long term involvement in Viet Nam would hurt the Nation, which History has proven correct. Viet Nam is over and amazingly there aren't hordes of Viet Cong running through downtown Cleveland. Tens of thousands of Americans are dead for what ? So Nixon & Johnson could strut around like idiot peacocks giving speeches. To speak of a running mate for a man born in Panama is just more bullshit . The Republicans should choose Ron Paul & stop screwing the Country into the oblivion of forgotten empires.

Would Charlie Crist come out of the closet before or after the election?

I pray to God that McCain chooses Romney or someone like him as his running mate. That will squarely lock him in to the "just like Bush". With only 15% of the country having a very favorble opinion of Bush that would be golden.

I doubt it will be Romney. McCain isn't running for President so much as Chief GOP FaceMan/Puppet. The VP choice will be something vile from the very core of the GOP, similar to Cheney.

I just heard an interesting thing. The GOP is currently sending registered letters out to known homes of single solders currently serving in Iraq. Many of the letters are returned because no one is there to accept the letters. Then they are using the letters as proof in arguing voter fraud because if no one accepted the letters, then no one must live their by that name, and a vote from that address with that name must be fraud.
Even though its legal to vote over seas while your fighting in Iraq, the election boards really dont have the means or finances to investigate every single claim. So they are letting the GOP have their way.

Who is surprised by this?

Karl rove's loyalty lies with bush over everything.

The question that needs to be asked is what's best for America.

Why have laws if some are given universal immunity?

What does America know?
