Richardson's Not-Quite-Endorsement Of Obama
Politico.com:
Richardson, on "Face the Nation" today:
I just think the D-Day is Tuesday. We have to have a positive campaign after Tuesday. Whoever has the most delegates after Tuesday, a clear lead, should be in my judgment the nominee.
There's a question of why not endorse Obama if you're going to take that public position. Though, as Richardson notes of political endorsements, "The key is I don't think anybody cares." (Jeff Berman cares!)
Actually, this falls into a broader category of what could be called "process endorsements" of Obama, superdelegates such as Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer who stay neutral, but whose stances on process match the Illinois senator's.
