Lou Dobbs is a self-promoting airbag. Giving away a copy of his four year old "New" book every day on his program is a tacky bit of marketing that CNN should stop! That said, no immigration policy can work without border control. Geraldo should go back to drawing in the sand in Iraq, but not live! We need to close the border, enforce the law against the profiteers who have caused this mess, and fine them enough to safely repatriate the otherwise law-abiding aliens with our apologies. (The smugglers and gang bangers can be deported as their sentences are finished.)

Lou Dobbs is married to a Latina and grew up working along side migrant workers.
I would not be surprised to learn that he has done more stoop labor than many of his critics.

Olbermann has curiously jumped on the rub Lou's nose in it bandwagon, without mentioning Mrs. Dobbs ethnicity. Never thought I would be saying this but "Come on Keith do your home work".

First of all the key word is illegal and we seem to often forget that...
Secondly if most of the illegals are latino then too bad...one cannot refute data...

Fourth, I remember once Geraldo in the news flaunting taking his son on a cruise
just like the typical hispanic new aristocrats throwing a sweet sixteen for their progeny...
As for Lou Dobbs he is one of the few journalists in the states who are taking the bull by
by the horn...As for shaking Lou's hand that is no relevant..­for I am sure that Geraldo

Lou Dobbs is a racist you only have to look at the border in Arizona ... What happens when children on their way home from school get stopped by militia guys demanding to see their papers? What happens when militia guys uniting under Dobb's battle cry trespass on someone's property and ask to see their papers?
What happens when people are afraid to get health care or go to school or when university students on academic scholarships are sent back to a country that they have never been in?
What happens to the Statue of Liberty ... oh yeah forget it ... how many of your ancestors came with documents?

Would Geraldo be singing the same tune if they were shipping thousands of people over here in empty oil tankers from the streets of Rhyad,Karachi, or Gaza. Where's their right to work and have a better life?

Dobb's one wife is Mexican. Rivera is a greedy publicity hound who spouts nonsense all day long. He fell hook line and sinker for BushCo 9-11 propaganda, quit his job and moved to Fox Fake News, requesting an assignment in Afghanistan. In a depraved act of self promotion Geraldo then staged a fake attack on himself and was recalled, to "clear up the matter", which was soon forgotten by Fox and the general public.

I thought Geraldo was living in Al Capone's vault.

Geraldo was married to Kurt Vonneget's daughter. Kurt would not have much to do with him either, but he is a league ahead of the fear mongering, racist Dobbs. There has to be some middle ground on this issue which doesn't predispose the debate to hatred. We are a nation of imigrants whether we like it or not. Most of the hate and vitriol comes from the right because they have turned into a wedge issue to distract us from more important issues, like the conflict between Bush's supposed Christianity and killing innocent children and women in Iraq while demanding an end to abortion. The media is a co-conspirator.

I am a far left, people-loving person who believes that Lou Dobbs is 100% correct and that Geraldo is more or less a tribalist trying to battle the truth about the bankrupting of our country were we to try and integrate 30 million poor, uneducated, non-English speaking people into our country while we already have trillion dollar deficits, and the worst health care system in the world.

Anybody that disagrees with LaRaza and all the open border advocates get labeled a racist and bigot. Boring and trite rhetoric that has run its course. The politically correct attempt to shut down the discussion of how this country is being invaded is over the top insanity. Instead of bashing Lou Dobbs, you should go after Geraldo who smirks and says " open borders all the way". Why not bash those who are helping bring about the loss of the sovereignty of this country through a misguided belief all the world's poor can bring their uneducated and poor population in without destroying the social and economic structure ?

I wouldn't shake Geraldo's hand if I wore rubber gloves. With his reputation, you never know where his has been.

Unfortunately for Geraldo, the majority of American citizens are on Lou Dobbs side.

In Mexico there is a very rich ruling class of elites. Mexican citizens should stop marching in the streets of the U.S., and go to their own government and demand the officials in their government stop being corrupt and stop taking money from the drug cartels. I fear that the ruling elites on both sides of the border are in a plot together:
