27 Dresses, what?
Kate Hudson has no idea who Katherine Heigl is.
"Who is she?" Hudson, whose movie Fool's Gold opened at No. 1 its first weekend, said in UK Elle. "Oh, that girl in 27 Dresses? I just don't think about that stuff."
Heigl's flicks Knocked Up and 27 Dresses opened at No. 1 earlier this year and Grey's Anatomy is one of the top shows on television. She's won one Screen Actors Guild award and been nominated for two Golden Globes.

Kathrine Heigl is one of the most beautiful women in the world. Her acting holds up just as well if not better than Hudson who has her mom and dad to thank for her cushy litle career; Goldie Hawn and Bill Hudson of The Hudson Brothers songwriters and peformers along with her step father Kurt Russel.
To even suggest she got where she is by sheer talent is pure BS.
Heigl on the other hand had no such golden spoon handed to her. She's been working her tail off since she was nine and has shown incredible maturity for her years.
So while both are good actresses and hard working ones, for anyone on Earth to believe that Kate had no idea of who Heigl is, is pure bullshit.
I didn't know who Katherine Heigl was either. But I know who Kate Hudson is. She's that monotone super-pretty actress who turns her films into a snooze fest as soon as she appears. Mama invested in yoga classes when she should've invested in acting and vocal training. NOBODY is more boring than Kate Hudson. God help us if she ever has to "stretch" and do an accent or wear body makeup! Like Julia Roberts, the more she does, the more she reveals her limitations. These gals are movie stars, not real actors.
Kate Hudson would be teaching yoga classes if it weren't for her Hollywood connections. And badly teaching them , at that.
So says the greatest critic in the history of everything.
Heigl sucks, but Kate like HRC has name recognition!
Her mother was famous for the dumb act, too- though she was much better (and funnier) at it. Kate Hudson is Goldie lite.

Don't worry, Kate. The only time I've ever seen this woman is on the red carpet. While she is smashing looking, I've never seen her act. Don't watch and have never watched Grays Anatomy. God knows, I've never seen the two movies she's apparently been in either. I'm not knocking her, but this actress is apparently fairly new to our national consciousness - and most likely will get bigger and bigger - but right now, don't feel bad if you have no idea who she is. Neither do a lot of us.
This is like Eva Longoria. I kown her from the red carpet, sashshaying down it with her bad boyfriend or husband, but I've never watched Desperate Housewives so it took me awhile to connect as to who the heck she was. Huffpost has done a lot of articles with her picture, also, and now she is pretty mainstream. The rule of thumb used to be that an actor plied his or her trade and came up through the ranks - I'd generally have a good idea as to whom some of these "newcomers" were. But now, damn, there are simply too many "next new things" out there to keep up.
LeeLoosMultiPlass - I could have written your post! Hear/read/see these celebs but have never really seen them act/sing, etc. During the 5 mintues I watched the Oscars this girl named Amy Adams was singing - apparently she's a big deal, have no idea for what, buts she is everywhere. Never seen Jessica Alba in anything either.
katherine is about the "hottest" gal in hollywood right now.
Poor Kate apparently wastes her spare time talking with her friends and family, reading, or doing something useful instead of watching TV or going to mediocre movies. What's wrong with her? Why can't she just succumb to brainless passivity like everyone else?

well since she acts in mediocre movies, one assumes she is watching mediocre movies. You must be one of those people who only watches educational tv!!
