Texas, Ohio Primaries: Clinton and Obama Make Closing Arguments
Hillary Clinton tried to manage expectations for the series of make or break primaries she faces in Texas, Ohio, Vermont and Rhode Island Tuesday.
"I'm just getting warmed up," Clinton told reporters on Monday, looking ahead to a busy day of campaign events in Ohio and Texas where polls show a close race. Her husband, former President Bill Clinton, has asserted that his wife must win both states to keep her campaign alive.
Meanwhile, Barack Obama sat for an interview with Nightline, which was previewed on Good Morning America today. He dismissed the tone of Hillary Clinton's recent national security ad, suggesting that her campaign had "gotten a little desperate" after their series of primary losses.

Barack Obama also went after Clinton for criticizing his foreign policy experience:
"What precise foreign-policy experience is she claiming that makes her qualified to answer that telephone call at 3 a.m. in the morning?" Obama asked of the former first lady at a town-hall meeting. It was a reference to dueling television ads over who would exercise superior judgment in responding to a national emergency in the middle of the night.
