Clinton Stay

Hillary Clinton continued her heated attacks against frontrunner Obama, claiming that the likely Repubican nominee John McCain has more experience than the Illinois senator. Hillary told reporters yesterday:

"I think that I have a lifetime of experience that I will bring to the White House. I know Senator McCain has a lifetime of experience to the White House. And Senator Obama has a speech he gave in 2002."

Keith Olbermann was less than pleased with the attack that would surely return in a McCain-Obama general election, calling the statement, "unbelievable."

The Clinton Machine is now the Karl Rove Machine! This is UNBELIEVABLE! What is even more crazy is that the Hillary supporters don't see this type of campaigning as dirty and sneaky!

I am to the point that I want Hillary to win the primary so the Republicans can use the Rovian tactics against her so she can see how it feels. She thinks she went through it all in the 90's but she will be begging for Obama supporters to support her and we won't!

Also, all these women who believe every time anyone criticize Hillary is are sexist are ridiculous. Do not mistake being mean, divisive, and destructive as being a strong woman. Being strong does not require you to tear others down. Hillary should make all woman be ashamed of her desperate behavior.

HRC supporters either have not cared to look at the read details or they are so drunk by the kool aid and well wishing ideals of the 90's that they caint see straight.

Well, it seems that Hillary is positioning herself to be on any ticket whether it be the Democratic as President, or on the Republican ticket as Vice President. I was discussing this with my wife last night, when not more than five minutes later Keith Olberman made the same statement on Countdown. The Clinton campaign it seems will do and say anything at any cost to secure Hillary’s place in History. They attack Senator Obama with half truths, and out right lies, then in the same breath accuse Senator Obama of unfair attacks. They accused Senator Obama of contacting Canada in regard to NAFTA, when in reality it was the Clinton Campaign that had made the contact. Yesterday Hillary claimed to be more prepared to be President by virtue of the fact that her husband had been President, and she had seen what happens at three in the morning. My wife and I have been married for nearly 20 years, I am a Locomotive Engineer, my wife has been there every step of the way, she was there when I would be called in at three in the morning, she heard me discuss our operations every night at the dinner table. Even with her extensive knowledge of my job, I would not want to trust her to run a train. I have been watching Football most of my life, I have played on Park District teams, and in the park with friends. I sometimes think that I know more than the Chicago Bears coaching staff, but the truth of the matter is that I am not qualified to be a coach on a level other than PEE WEE football. Hillary, and those who would be swayed by her argument need to think long and hard about what qualifies one to be President, this is just another example of her poor judgment. I do not want to trust her judgment as President. If she is the Democratic candidate in the fall, I will not vote for her. Hillary is a Joe Lieberman turncoat in disguise. If history has taught us anything, it is beware of the Trojan horse!

(Some polls have found that in the large Battle ground states 20% of Dems would vote for McCain if Clinton is out of the race. The more MSNBC bashes her the more many women will break for her. There is an underlying theme of Sexism here that you are not getting. She has to fight harder and meaner for this because of the undercurrent that wants her gone. You know she is talking reality here. People will break for McCain rather than vote for Obama, Do you really want to go bombing around Afghanistan with an inexperienced Commander in Chief? she has grasped all the issues in the debates with much greater strength than Obama. It is going to get gritty here and the Repubs will make it much grittier if they get their hands on Obama and Rezko. They will also call up the Bay of Pigs etc.)

Me this is well statedearlier this evening on Cooper this very subject was breachedand reprt of one poll who is the gold standard has found from polling that this would be the case, the black senator in attendance (a obama supporter was dressed for trying to say otherwise The Pew poll is pretty accurate folks, looks as though there maybe a dream team after all because the dems dont want to loose this McBush, to all you Oblapie supporters pray till the cows get milked, you've just been snookered.

Untrue!! I was hoping that Keith would talk about these issues. I gave up on Hillary when I heard her staffer Wolfson said Obama was using Ken Starr tactics. I called the Clinton campaign headquarters and told them so. I am a 65 year old woman. I voted for her in California and I sent her money. NO MORE. All of the shit spewing from her campaign is enough to turn the tide for me. I am going to work for Obama and be making phonecalls to Pennsylvania to vote for him. Hillary has just gone too far. My stomach has been turning over the stuff that has been coming out. I AM REALLY SORRY THAT I VOTED FOR HER!

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 11:00 AM on 03/07/2008

Don't worry about voting for her in California. You'll get your chance in November.

Look, I voted for our current guy twice, I'm still kicking myself. But hey, I helped deliver Missouri to Barack in February. Now I am in one of the states that don't matter to Hillary since we're not in her win column.

People are paying attention, she needs to shut up. She's killing the Dems chances using her scorched earth policy. If she can't win the nomination, then she'll sabotage the nominee hoping to arrive as the redeemer in 2012.

Never another Bush, never another Clinton.

"The more MSNBC bashes her the more many women will break for her. There is an underlying theme of Sexism here that you are not getting. "

Very nice..she can act completely outrageous and it's sexist to call it outrageous?? This is the same mentality that had people vote for Bush twice...if you attack him somehow you are unpatriotic or against America..give me a freaking break.

There are definitely people out there that hate the Clintons and no matter what Bill or Hillary do they will find reasons to hate them...but that's not a free pass to trash fellow Democrats with cheap inneundo and misinformation.

Her attacks on Obama and the incredibly ludicrous comments about the CIC threshold show that when push comes to shove she is no better than the Republicans. To say that all of this is ok because she is woman is so ridiculous...has Obama ever said oh vote for me because it would be great for a black man to become president...yet Clinton gets to play gender politics and thats ok with you....how about voting for someone because you think they have the integrity, judgment and qualifications for the job??

If Clinton wants to make that her argument then good for her...but guess what? She tried to make it and the people said they preferred Obama...

So now instead of a discussion on policy or the country's future Clinton has turned the campaign into a farce and is waiting for Obama to join her in the gutter....

I have said many times on Huff Post I would vote for Clinton if she were the nominee but after this week..I will no longer do so...as a lifelong Democrat who has voted in every election for which I was eligible whether or not "my" candidate was the nominee...it pains me that my vote may not be counted in the fall...but I cannot support such behavior from a Democrat....

If Hitler were the Republican nominee, Hillary would find she had something in common with him--but in that case, she wouldn't be lying. Hitler was power-mad and so is Hillary.

Once again Hillary Clinton busted for lying about her foreign affair experience. Obama pressed the news media to conduct a fact check on her allegations because many voters really believe she has this experience. CNN did double check her allegations and found she has not done what she is telling the public she did. Check out CNN investigation article:

The DNC and leaders of Congress as well as influential Super delegates need to work in concert and get her out of this race. I agree with Olbermann - unbelievable! And, if you support Dems, rather despicable from a leading Democratic candidate to bash the party's likely nominee in this way. Again, leadership - are you listening? Get her out of the race now.

That woman is so full of .... herself. Not only is she willing to use republican sleaze tactics against a member of her own party, but she will go as far as giving McCain ammunitions against Obama in advance just in case he becomes the democratic candidate. It's unbelieveble AND despicable.

I stopped watching MSNBC over a month ago and can see I haven't missed a thing. As boring as the folks on CNN are, at least they're respectful of the candidates still standing. Why are the Obama worshippers so lathered about a true statement - both Hillary and John McCain ARE more experienced than the American Idol from Chicago and neither will be taken down easily, as you have seen.

Huffpost, Dailykos and Talkingpointsmemo are ALL pro Obama sites and yet Hillary continues to win in spite of the blow hards on these sites as well as on TV who continue to scream for her head if she won't quit the race and give it to the golden boy. Your argument is that she is splitting the party. Good God, the party has been split by the likes of the Hillary haters ... I haven't found a site yet that is so full of hatred as these sites are. If there is a pro-Hillary site let me know as I certainly would like to check it out to compare the vitriol towards the opposition.

You imply that somehow that these sites "bias" towards the Obama candidacy is some form of worship. Could it be that the reason they seem to take a pro Obama stand is because he more closely adheres to a liberal position on most matters? Could it be that if you look closely at the Clinton agenda it reeks of the failed middle of the road politics that have not served the left well in the last 15 years? We on the left have seen an Obama who took unpopular positions on liberal principal. We have seen the Clintons go whichever way the political wind blows. We have seen the Clinton machine take the party so far to the right that you cant tell the difference between the RNC and the DNC. Now we see her spewing this crap about NAFTA and 3AM. Are we supposed to find this inspiring or just plain Republican smear? She is right when she says she is more like John McCain than Obama is. I would also say that she isnt splitting the party she has split the party right down racial and gender lines. We are assailed daily by the angry older women calling Obamas supporters sexist. In Ohio exit polling shows that 20% of voters say race was an issue and they voted overwhelmingly for Hillary. How proud you all must be to have captured the closet klan crowd. They account for her victory. Her disgusting performance on 60 minutes. The release of the turban photo from her campaign. Bill Clintons calculated statement in S.C. before the primary. Do you think those engender good feelings from people who really want to see this country come together rather than come apart? I am sure she can give McCain a run for his money with the small minded. What I am beginning to understand is the undercurrent of racial bias amongst some of her supporters. Dont get me wrong I dont think that supporting Hillary makes you a racist but I dont think it makes you a liberal either. By the way Hillary has won 3 of the last 16 primaries. She trails in the popular vote and pledged delegates. She has never moved up in the national or state polls. She starts out with substantial leads that erode once the voters see both candidates campaign in their states. I dont call that winning. I call it losing ground. Lets let everyone vote and see where we are I have a feeling very little will change in the next few months and Obama will be the nominee.

I can see why you don't like HRC. I understand she is slogging it out here and it's gritty. This is about experience with the issues and she is much more deft in this category. Why can't they run together? Is it because Racism will trump Sexism? Could Obama run with an elder white woman? Would the Racists in his following be outraged? If the Dems can overcome this issue they will be unstoppable. There is a lot of reverse racism going on in Obama's campaign. Frankly, I find this offensive and I'm about as liberal as they get.

AAAAAAAAAAAammmmmmmeennnnnn, the spliters are indeed the Oblapie cultists.

and your right the aforementioned blogs are the feather weights of the political world, no matter how hard they try she keeps winning the crucial popular votes where there are primary run offs, where the delegates are awarded according to the vote as it should be.

Wash State Primary caucases wereswamped with the Oblapie supporters, making our primary run off worth less.

That is going to change, lawsuits are now being prepared for this situation to recover from the dems the amount of money that was spent for an election that didn't count, VOTERS ARE PISSED OFF.

And a lot did not vote; protesting this action, later the polling (in state) found that Oblapie would have lost other wise if had been a straight primary vote)

I also live in Washington State and you are wrong. Obama won by a landslide in each and every county of Washington state in the caucus. He also won every county in the primary also -- fair and square. This was a huge movement in Washington State by the Hillary supporters to get people out to vote for her in primary to prove that Obama only won because of the earlier caucus. Even with that huge effort, Hillary still lost -- caucus and primary, period. Washington State is Obama country.

That' said -- having a primary that didn't count which still costs the taxpapers lots of money is really silly and worthless to me.

She LOST Texas. The RUSH fan republicans gave her hundreds of thousands of votes, hoping to help disrupt the dems, and position her for an easy loss to McCain. She STILL LOST.

You respect Hillary? Good for you. I hope your blindness gets healed.

Olbermann's not a registered voter and hasn't voted in eons. He's just another MSM hack that will do and say anything for a check. Not too long ago he was working for ESPN and MSNBC. That being said, who cares what he thinks?

Name one MSM person that would actually risk their multi-million dollar a year career for a principle. It's kind of like the old joke about British dentists. How come you can't find a good British dentist? Because there aren't any! If any MSM person actually stood up for something they'd be blacklisted for life.

I'm less than pleased with Keith Olbemann and MSNBC. I've stopped watching them because they can't seem to be unbiased in their coverage. I personally think they are truly insulting and denigrating to all women. I was not a Hillary supporter but after all the vitriol I've heard from MSM and read at blogs like this, I have no choice to think she must be doing something right so I will support her. My choice has always been Edwards from 2004 but the Hillary(Clinton) haters and Obamaniacs have turned me toward her.

She is too Far Right, she needs to run as a Rethug.

This is The Left Wing Hillary. She does not speak for us, she does not represent us and she is not the best candidate.

And how can this woman ever run against McCain constructively, she voted for the war for heaven sakes! She embraces Rethug principles, I just don't get hgow any sane Dem can vote for this woman, they obviously do not know anything about politics.

Hillary Clinton, and the rest of the DLC wing of the democratic party, are simply a bunch of S.O.B.s. I can't believe she would say this.

Go join the Republican Party then, Hillary. The Democrats don't need backstabbers and center-Right hacks.

She needs to stop, she and Howard Woldson are going to set the Democratic party back 100 years.

Talk about self sabotage, if the Dems run her we will surely loose, she needs to go, sooner than later.

Even suggesting she could actually win is a bad idea and could never happen, it's a vote wasted, a vote for McCain. The elders in the Party need to step aside and let the younger members' voices be heard.

After all, they are the future of The Party. t this juncture the Clinton campaign would better serve The Party by following Pat Caddell into the sunset.
